Hi dear mods, hi Eve! My husband and I would like to co-host a "draw our OC" contest. They are based on the popular [Mod Edit: Removed for talking about other games]. Is it okay to mention that in the OC description? It makes it easier for the contestants to find inspiration if they Google it. Thanks a lot for your answers! If the OC is based upon or inspired by a game, it can be considered fanart of that game and therefore it is not allowed. As OC's are original 'ideas'. If they have definitive features of a (video?) game character or are based upon a game/character they are no longer 'original', they are apart of a fandom.
Also, talk of other games is not allowed on WP.

A tabletop roleplay consist of original ideas, based within a setting that is up to the person telling the story. In this setting, for example, werewolves exist and are defined as several tribes with certain physical traits, like "tribe A has red fur and origins from Ireland / the celtic culture".
I see your point though. I will try to describe the traits without using the names used in the game. It's generic enough for that. <span style="font-size: 15px;">
<span style="font-size: 15px;">Thanks!
