@The DeathKeep Pack 1 - Your beta female and male, aka the next female and male with the highest dominance points, will become the new Alphas. If you have no wolves left or the wolves are pups, there will be no Alpha/ Beta at that time.
2 - Free-Ranging them (this gives them a small chance of survival however in certain cases) or they can die of old age. 12 real life days = 1 year. Therefore, once wolves reach 15 years of age, every Monday at 2:45am - 3:15am these 15 or over aged wolves have a chance at dying. This chance that can be decreased by using a Raven Feather and increases with age.

As far as I know they can only did from old age and being retired. |

The same happens as when they normally die. They are replaced with wolves that have the highest amount of dominance after them. You can make wolves the alphas by adding to the dominance attribute on their page.

They can only die from old age or you retiring them. Otherwise you can free range them, removing them from you pack but not killing them. |

Agreeing with Moonshadow, there is a Death Script. Death Script only runs 6:45 AM Game Time every Monday. Your wolves only have a chance of dying after reaching age 15.
