I read over the game rules though and couldn't actually find anything specifically stating it was against the rules though. :')

Do you know where it states it in the rules? I just can't find it. :')

I have no doubts that it's still a rule, but it almost seems like an unwritten one at this point.

it's rule 20 in the rules. Though it's currently not worded specifically as loans anymore
