Forgive if the topic sounds confusing.

I have seen folx use wording such as "_iamblank_ on DA" to help others find their work. I am aware linking outside websites is frowned upon so I was wondering about this distinction.

Personally, I would like to mention my username I use on all social media as a way for others to find my work, and was wondering if this was acceptable or not.
