sorry if I did it wrong or it already mentioned I could not find one though.

when I was exploring I came across a deer and wolves could not defeat it because it would not let them attack but the deer could attack my wolves. I had their attack settings thing set to kick for all of them. I thought it was just a one-off thing then I hunted some squirrels and the same thing happened.

I am using a HP laptop and the google chrome browser.

I cant add screenshots here so I made a google docs thing, here is the link to it.

Kick is a defensive move, you need to set your wolves to an offensive move, otherwise they won't attack.
