Today, I was trying to creating a cutom wolf, but, It said that I didn't had enough apples to create it.
I tried creating a male, Ruby (crstaline pelt) pup with zero talents, zero markings, zero gears in a apple orchid background, It costed 1 apple = 50 rarity, I had one apple, but it camed a pop-up banner thing that said : Oops, infucent funds to purchase that. I uses Google Chrome in my HP laptop. I have no idea what made the problems.

I don't believe this is a bug crystalline pelts are unable to by made in the custom maker, they are there just to be previewed so you know what you are getting if you apply a crystalline dye to the wolf. Since crystalline dyes are only available though Bree the fox if you give her a geode that has a dye in it
Please note that:
The only way to obtain a Crystalline base is to
get one from Bree. On very rare occasions you
can breed a Crystalline pup if the parents have the
same Crystalline pelt

From the news page of July 8th the day the crystalline pelts were added
