When you use special dyes on your wolves, can those transfer to their pups by any chance? I hope that makes sense..

I've seen a couple wonderful people get BE trainibg done in less than a week, which is astonishing to me, who can hardly get the next battle move within a week.
-
So, my question is: how do yall do it?? Of course there's a lot of time that goes into it, but is there any specific techniques yall use to build up BE a bit quicker? Levels, territory, wolves, etc.?

Rat, I don't know other trainers techniques, but forest Level 2 is where the rabbits and squirrels hang out. I got 300 BE in one morning from it. Always ask for CP in sales, 10 mush each as it is cheaper than a bronze figurine. Build in battle and resolve (obviosuly). I don't put much into agility, unless training multiple wolves. Also, after battling prey in the extra tab, buy a pottery if at 7 moves left or less. I never stock up on pottery all at once; just buy as you go along.

I can usually train in 3-5 days and average 200-350 BE a day, so maybe I'll be able to answer some of these questions?

Terrain/Level: Forest 2 is definitely the best. Even in winter, there's a good amount of prey. You also get a lot of empathy encounters here, which give +5 moves when your wolves succeed. Also, the only predators here (besides event ones) are foxes and badgers, so your wolves won't flee too much.

Wolves: CP helps a lot when training. Resolve and Empathy are the main ones that speed up training for me and Battle never hurts. Of course, battle boosts will get through training faster, but it doesn’t slow you down too much if the wolf or wolves don’t have a boost. I'm not sure what others do, but I take the wolf or wolves I'm training and fill the other spots with wolves on defensive moves. The extras take most of the damage and your trainee(s) last longer. Usually, I train 1 or 2 wolves at a time, but the number you train at once is up to you. From my experience, 3 or 4 wolves at once slows things down by a few days, because BE isn’t being gained as quickly.

Supplies: I usually but 5-10 Chinese pottery at a time and a few health potions. I agree with what Frigid said about buying as you go. You can make a decent profit from Forest 2, so you'll be saving yourself som mush by doing this. The empathy CP I mentioned before also saves you a lot of mush if you have enough to win the encounters. Also, don't forget to bring those mushroom and berry snacks, since those will save you a lot of time.

Other: I'm usually training for 3-5 hours a day. Depending on how many wolves you're training and how often you're online, the tips above should put you around 3-5 days for DG. Other trainers may do things differently, but these are the things that have been most effective for me. I hope this helps and sorry it's so long!

BE training on average for me takes a total of 3-5 hours. If I work hard at a wolf, I can have two done at 925 by the end of the day, but I don't do that anymore since I haven't the time!

I use the one DG one trainee method. Any more than one trainee and I find training is painfully slow. The DG will (preferably) have the maxed Big Six traits: battle, resolve, agility, stealth, perception, and luck. In my opinion, all are absolutely key to exploring, as the first three enable your wolf to adeptly take down prey and enemies, and the last three enable your wolf to actually find additional prey on top of predators, which will make or break your mush return when buying explore moves. Note: while training, be prepared to lose mush. Don't worry: when your wolves are finished, they'll make up for what they cost you more than tenfold. I use a LW(97lbs) DH DG as my trainer, as they will be able to take more hits, and since their offensive ability will not matter, the LW gives them an agility advantage to dodge attacks.

The trainee will have battle, resolve, and agility maxed out. At least max battle is necessary, since any less and your wolf will usually not be able to one-shot rabbits and squirrels(which is integral to training and prevents prey from fleeing half-dead). I set the DG to a defense move, and the trainee to offense. The DG will split attacks between the trainee and themselves, as well as help find prey for the trainee to kill(but only if the DG has SP&L).

For terrain: I really like forest 2, because prey spawns instantaneously and I don't like spamming the stalk button when tracking. I don't touch a lot of the other low forest levels because of this. A lower level also means higher chances of digging up goodies like health potions, and a lower level of SP&L to find prey. It might have a lower amount of enemies, but if your wolves are properly equipped, the prey should more than make up for it. Each forest 2 level earns around 100+BE, so your wolf should be done in 9 levels(3600 moves) or less. I highly recommend purchasing at least 100-400 chinese pottery per run.

Extra tips: Make sure not to level up while replaying a level! This will screw up your current level, and make it so that you cannot kill any prey or enemy. Also, I would not advise you to go crazy buying explore moves before you have a basic explore pack(Big Six traits maxed and at least Neck Snap 525BE). This can lead to you losing mush instead of gaining mush. Once you have a full fledged explore team, you should be earning 200+% mush back.

I hope this helped!

I agree with Black Swan. An additional thing I like to do is to bring some wolves that are partially trained, but currently on a defense move. I find I need less health potions when I do this, as the enemy hits get spread around. If I am using this method, I like to move to level 5 once I'm about halfway trained. There's usually more enemies, in my experience, and you can earn more mush.

I'm gonna share my method, it involves multiple wolves training (Three wolves can be trained to DG in 9~10 hours, and four wolves in 12~13 hours):

Wolves:
-All need to have maxed Batte and should have maxed Resolve (agility can be filled later), weight is not a big deal.
-3 wolves at the time is the ideal number for me. (Could bring 4 but it will be explained later)

Why 3 wolves?

-Because it's more predictable to know how much BE they all will get when finishing a level (For three wolves this value is 50BE) and they gain BE at the same speed (it doesn't happen when you bring 5~6 wolves, some might get way more BE than other wolves in a training sesion).
-Bringing 1~2 wolves might look faster but it doesn't work most of the times due to the flee ration of the NPC, and that's the main reason I don't usually train little groups (example, there are 6 rabbits and you can only hit a max of 1~2 each turn and the rest could flee, and I'm still not talking about event NPC who usually have more than 80HP and it would be impossible to take them down in a single turn), only if you're lucky enough they won't flee much and you'll get the same ratio of training 3 wolves.

Terrain:
-Forest 2 is the best for fast BE, more chance of getting big groups of squirrels/rabbits because pheasants doesn't appear yet and that last encounter just gives you 1 NPC (I train here most of the times)

-Forest 3 and 4 is great to get more mush than forest 2 (boars won't be any problem for a 3 wolves team and drop 6 mush), CP train your pups in sealth (trainees should have maxed sealth CP), kill some event NPC that are programmed to appear less in forest 2, and it has a similar amount of NPC after getting all the tracks.
"After getting filled sealth CP of the pups, go back to forest 2"

-If I train in Forest 5, is only when I bring six wolves there and they are in Pin (Off +33) move, so the won't get defensive moves anymore. Forest 5 has a higher profit than Forest 2 to 4 (deer and wolverines won't be a problem for your wolf team) it seems to have a higher chance than any higher level on getting mythical creatures (60%~80% chance of getting at least one), so good luck on killing them. DH are recommendable (but not strictly needed) when finding Eves.

-All Forest 2 to 5 level are good even in winter.

-Enemy count should be higher than 35.

-Each terrain should be completed in 30 minutes or less, but don't panic if you take a bit longer :)

Resources:
-10, 20 or 40 chinese potteries. (depending on how much you want to train in a sesion), don't worry for the mush expense, you'll get it back after the training

-Some health potions at the starting, let's say 5 (then your wolves will find some in explore) and only use them when necessary (you don't want to ruin a good training sesion with high enemy count because one of your wolves fled right?)

Extra tips:
-Dominance is helpful not only for training (please only if these wolves are meant to be kept for you, if you're training for someone else it will be a waste) to scare other wolves found in explore and gain extra moves , and chase off the birdwatcher to get robin feathers (which can be used as health potions too).

-Too many wolves in defensive hell (Def+26 to Def +28) and the constant clicking to change them to offensive moves gets annoying? Sometimes a lucky sesion with one wolf at the time could help (this is the only exception I could use the 1 wolf exploring method).

- NEVER complete all the 400 tiles of a level, or your highest level will mess up with the no button appearing bug (100% guarantee of this).

-Are there event NPCs in explore with high health?
Your wolf team number should increase ot get these monsters killed easily.
Werewolves (August) ~ 4 to 6 wolves.
Dreki (November)~ 5 to 6 wolves
October and December NPC ~ 3 to 4 wolves.
If the large team gets into defensive moves you could use the 1 wolf exploring method

Hopefully it helps you :)

Wow, reading through this really helped me. I've trained 2, and I'm trying to make a bit of a 6 wolf DG battle team. So I've had 2 BE trained by others and 2 by me, so I'll use these techniques for my remaining 2 :)
