You can a pin a post if it's your own topic. The link is on the bottom right hand corner, next to "Quote" :)

I'm following the image posting directions, but the image keeps showing up as a blank white box, only the blue boundary is visible. (I'm using Gifyu, the direct image link)

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, is there another way to put an image into a forum post?

Does your link end in .png or .jpg? Those are direct links. If it doesn't have that, then right click on the image and do open in a new tab. The new tab should have the image link.
