Plot ♥ Stranded. After a mission to travel through time, collect information, and return to the modern day, or 3010, a small group of scientists-in-training find themselves stuck in The Neogene Period. A time of dangerous swimming creatures, mammals, and other creatures. A time in which humans weren't even introduced into yet due to the severity of the enviroment itself. Now, with the little information the group was informed of before their excursion took place these young adults must survive of one the harshest enviroments not known to man and find somehow to return home, or face the rest of their lives here. |

Roleplay Rules ♥ 1.) Follow all of Eve & WolfPlay Roleplay Rules. 2.) Be respectful to both your fellow roleplayers and myself. Lack of doing so will result in expellation. 3.) Consent must be given before a character can be seriously harmed or killed off by another. 4.) Semi-Literacy is required. Proper punctuation and spelling should be used at all times, but a mess up every so often is relatable. I'm expecting 300+ words per post. 5.) No powergaming or godmodding, don't control another persons character without permission. Avoid making your character invisible or unrealistically powerful. 6.) Keep IC and OOC seperate. Please keep Out of Character chatter to the discussion or pms. 7.) Make it collaborative and unique. Include everyone! I dont want to see a whole page of a character and another character being the only ones interacting. 8.) That being said, constent replies is something I will be a bit more leniant on. I expect at least 4 replies per week. 9.) I will be making the max amount of characters 1 for each person for now. You may pm me if you need to make another character and we can chat. Read this far? Put your favorite mammel in the "Other" section of your form! 10.) This roleplay takes place around 15 million years ago in the Neogene Period. I suggest doing some research about the world back then before joining, as otherwise, most events wont make the most sense. |

The Neogene Period ♥ Climate & Geography ⇓ · Climate Cooling - The Neogene was marked by the gradual global cooling process and drying trend it took on the world and the effects it had during this process. · Expanding Grasslands - Forests gave way to widespread grasslands and savannahs, creating new sources of food and habitats. · Continental Drift - Continents were beginning to shift, resulting in frequent earthquakes and their aftermath. . Life in The Neogene ⇓ · Mammalian Evolution - From dinosaurs to creatures we see relativly similar to modern day mammals and grazing animals. Some of these include the infamous Dire Wolf and Sabertooth Tiger, as well as the pig-like Suids and deer-like Eotragus. · Bird Diversication - Birds also diversified and evolved into many modern forms, though some, such as the Terror Birds or Phorusrhacids, were viewed as rather alien by scientists when first discovered. Giant feathered apex predators. · Marine Life - Whales diversified as well in their ocean habitats, and sharks reached their largest sizes - also known as Megladons. · Early Humans - Apes grew in their intelligence, and while they won't be seen often in this roleplay, there will be a few encounters and these near-human creatures are viewed as hostile. |

Map ♥ Image (c) to myself on Lanvarna.com . Enviroment Camp isn't... terribly well-built to put things nicely. After the scientists-in-training discovered their predicament they needed to act quickly. Thankfully, the stone structure that they spend the most of their days in is fairly sturdy. Its needed to be rebuilt a few times due to weather problems and the occasional creature that decides to ram themselves into it, but its a decent living space... for now. Their surrounding enviroment consists of dry ground, stiff, hard wooded trees, alive and dead. Rocks and a cliffbase that the group has made into a somewhat enclosed area, the faint idea of taming some of the nearby wildlife in the back of their minds. The territory further is quite the same, with the creatures of course lurking in every corner. Antelope, rabbits, and songbirds make up most of the prey and carnivorous creatures such as Saber toothed cats and Terror Birds are most common. |

Role: Ecologist - A role that studies the sciences of how living organisms interact with the enviroment around them. Thoughts on Being Stranded: Well... its unfortunate, isn't it? Actually, Luce could care less, hes indifferent. The young man, with the amount of experience hes had in his field of work, finds himself more than prepared to survive in an enviroment as this. It shouldn't be this easy and he's sure something is going to take place to change his mind of things but... who knows at this point. He's broad shouldered with a frame that tapers down to a narrow waist. His arms are long and strong, same as his legs. His hands are rather elegant with surprisingly clean and smooth nail beds, the nails themselves being cut short. His posture is straight and confident, almost feline-like in its agility and swiftness. Facial Structure - Strong and angular, just like the rest of him... High cheekbones and a sharp jawline make for a regal appearance, with a straight, sloping nose and thinner lips. His eyes are thinner, with a slight upturn at their corners and thick, dark lashes. They are a dark green coloration whereas the few new scars scattered around his face are a light pink. Voice - A natural English accent that provides a unique, articulate, and charming delivery that conveys his slight arrogance and wit through a smooth, resonant tone.
