Introduction The Kingdom of Pallave has had a trick up its sleeve since the moment it was formed. Every generation, every male heir, is married off to another kingdom's daughter to not only keep the name alive, but to inherit more and more wealth and followers. For the longest of time, this was never questioned - the people respected it, the kingdoms never bothering to make an attempt at fixing it. However, most would consider it to be scheming. It was never considered to be changed until now. The High Council, made up of two representatives from the four kingdoms, chosen by their Kings and Queens, has made this... complication apparent amongst their peers and eventually entirely public as an open meeting was held in the capital. In order to make things more fair, the High Council ordered a need for not only an arrangement, but for suitors from all over the world to come and join the people of Pallave to try and win the hearts of the three sons and daughter as a way to intermix families and make it more inclusive. Of course, the King and Queen of Pallave disagreed with this order, but to prevent more difficulties and shortcomings, they reluctantly agreed. Four suitors, two male and two female, from each Kingdom have arrived at the capital where the High Council and those being married off will evaluate their candidates, regardless of wealth, sex, appearance, and whatever else they can give them. If someone is deemed outruled, they will be asked to leave the capital to prevent any more drama that is possible. However, some suitors have different... motives. A letter of the following was sent out to each kingdom where their respective leaders chose the four suitors: Greetings, reader, You are receiving this letter on behalf of your High Council. Recently, a discovery of scheming has been outed as done by the Pallave Kingdom when marrying off their sons. To prevent this further happening, we are asking that you send four suitors - two male, two female - to the capital for proper evaluation in hopes of being married to the Pallave's three male heirs and one daughter heir. Who you send is by your choosing, but they will be watched. Please choose wisely. -Your High Council
When word got out of these choosings, a number of people flocked and flocked their superiors in hopes of being picked. Roughly four months later, every suitor has finally been chosen. Whether you are there to hopefully fall in love with one of the heirs or perhaps to pursue other motives, you are asked to act on your best behavior and pray that you are not found out that you may be plotting. Plot After evaluation by the respective Kings and Queens of each of the four other kingdoms, you have finally been chosen. Your motives - good or bad - will be watched and carefully calculated by the High Council and the heirs of the Pallave kingdom. You arrive at the capital, your hopes high for whatever your intentions are. You arrive at the city center, suitors interacting, perhaps trying to catch the eye of the heirs. Whatever it may be... Who will be crowned? Note: This RP is very new and may need some adjustments. Also will be character driven if you couldn't tell, so be sure to suggest any sub plots and anything of the like!

Kingdoms Pallave Kingdom The kingdom that is now known for its scheming. Pallave is the second oldest kingdom, being around for roughly 200 years. It's nestled away on the coastline, overlooking the ocean as it stands grandly on a cliff. Greenery surrounds the area. The people here are notorious fishermen and have a great sense of exploration as they sail the seas. Those from Pallave are known to be tad rambunctious and obnoxious, but are generally welcoming but can be passive aggressive. Before their outing, they had a very large amount of wealth and were highly respected. But now, since that's all came crumbling down, people are reluctant to trust them. The High Council has placed an around-the-clock watch on the place utilizing their army, paying them off to spy and gain information to see if there is some sort of further plot to be revealed. The family name is Pine. The king, Robert Pine, is roughly 74 years old. The queen, Harper Pine, is 66. They have three sons and one daughter that are yet to be married. The family is quite unhappy about the whole outing, so they're very much unsure of what to think. Upon the High Council's request however, they have been asked to be open-minded. Robert believes it is some sort of punishment and Harper doesn't care much anymore as there's nothing to do about it. Sladia Kingdom Those who reside in Sladie are notorious hunters and blacksmiths. Known for their powerful army and skilled knights, they are a kingdom of fighters. The people here a tight-knight, unsure of outsiders. Sladia had been known to have some assassins come out of their kingdom, though nothing has been ever properly proved, only suspected. Their main source of supplies is from hunting, as they're great hunters as well. They trade pelts and extra carcasses if they have it, occasionally selling small portions of their army as hired swords and mercenaries. They have a tendency to act cruel or are on high alert all of the time. The kingdom is nestled away in Drawken Valley, nearby forests and meadows scatter the land. As for this kingdom, the family name is Hummings. The king is young as his father, the former king, passed away. His name is Henry Hummings and is 36 years old, married to Yara Hummings, 32 years old. These two are very opinionated yet powerful, representing their kingdom as a whole in a way. They've had some dealings with the Pallave kingdom in the past, mostly to do with hired swords. They do not support their choices, however. Quintz Kingdom Nestled in the deep forests of Drune, the Quintz Kingdom is made up of hard working lumberjacks. The kingdom produces lumber as well as mining ores like coal and sometimes even more valuable jewels that can't be found anywhere else. Most who reside here are hard working and obedient workers, allowing room for those who are new to grow. Most come here as a place to pass through as well however as the kingdom is known for some... gruesome deaths. The population is the smallest out of the kingdoms. They were known for trading with the Pallave kingdom, mostly giving jewels. Rumor is that they were threatened to give any valuables over. The family name is Jorkken. The king, the Wise Jack Jorkken, and his wife, Abigail Jorkken are both 82 years old, reaching the end of their reign over the kingdom. They have produced seven heirs. Anyway, because of their age, their advisors have began dealing with most affairs. Slorean Kingdom The Sloreans reside in the countryside in an area known as Ether. The kingdom is known for its great agricultural production, producing and immense amount of crops and livestock to be traded off and used in all of the kingdoms. They are the main source of food, and are a very respected people. Those that live here are a jumble of people, though mostly honorable and will protect their own. They produce the best horses as well, selling for thousands of gold coins. They are the only kingdom known to be completely against the Pallave, and had no idea it was going on. They say that they have proof of attempted warfare as well for the kingdoms natural wealth, unlike the Pallave's, though it has yet to be confirmed. Here, the family name is Stack. They are led by their King, Jonathan Stack, who is only 28 years old. His wife died in childbirth of their only heir who is too young to be married off. His dealings with the Pallave kingdom are seemingly personal as he sent two of his best trained knights to the Capital. However, nothing is yet to be revealed. The Capital, Bravna Not a kingdom, but the Capital. Nestled in the center of the dry island known as Vripek, Bravna is the most populated city in the world. Known for its stunning architecture and attractions, the capital houses the High Council. It overlooks the Brave Sea, where a number of shipping ports are. The harbor is filled with fishing men and their boats, shipments of supplies coming in roughly every two weeks by the kingdoms. The kingdoms basically serve the Capital and High Council, providing for the people of the city and themselves.
The people here are obviously welcoming with a variety of jobs available. Fishing, blacksmithig, working in stables, serving a superior, etc. The capital is mostly known for its respect of others and their highly trained Watch, an elite group of knights sworn to protect the city. The people here are mostly rich with a number of secrets, easy to get lost in the alleyways and buildings.

Roles The Heirs The Heirs of the Pallave kingdom that are to be married off to the suitors they choose or that the High Council chooses. There are three sons and one daughter. The eldest son is 26 while the youngest, the daughter, is 18. Each are very much their own individuals, though they can all agree on one thing - the outing was stupid and unnecessary. Some may blame their parents, but the eldest was aware of the scandal and didn't do anything to defend their family name. The daughter is very much naive and wary. Age range: 18-26 Kingdom: Pallave The High Council Two representatives from each kingdom sit on the High Council, all very much intelligent and witty. Their job is to oversee each kingdom and maintain peace, dealing with treaties and tradings and other matters. They're politicians, and while they don't all get along, they are highly respected and valued. They have a great understanding of the people and the people that are from their respective kingdoms. Age range: 30+ Kingdom: All The Suitors The suitors are those who were chosen by their superiors to be sent to the Capital to be married to one of the heirs of the Pallave kingdom. Everyone was chosen based on what the King and Queens wanted, so everyone had a different motive - good or bad. They have come to the Capital to impress the High Council and hopefully either spread their name or keep the family name of the Pallave kingdom going. Most are of some nobility, others not so much. Age range: 18-30 Kingdom: Sladia, Quintz, Slorean The Invited The invited are the people who have decided to come and perhaps help the suitors out or the High Council in their choosing. They are most likely there for their own entertainment. However, it isn't impossible that they're there to plot something. Age range: 18-50+ Kingdom: All, including Capital

Rules RP Rules Eves rules trump all. I ask that you type at least 350 words per post (and character if you have multiple). Post at least once a week - do not join just to ghost the RP. Be sure to suggest subplots, other worldbuilding, etc. This is still very rough. Be inclusive of everyone. Hate the character not the RPer. Do not cause drama OOC. I have the right to accept and decline forms as I see fit. You may have four characters: only two can be high ranking (High Council, an heir, or someone directly related to a king, queen, etc). No romance between your own two characters... it sorta defeats the purpose. Keep in mind gender ratio. OC Rules No Gary/Mary Sues. Characters should have at minimum three strengths and weaknesses. Your character is not perfect. Do not make your character constantly have the center of attention. Constantly running off, causing drama... it gets annoying. For suitors: Your character can be a part of their royal family in the kingdom as long as it's noted in the kingdom section that there are heirs. I do not want to see every character be royalty or noble. A distant cousin is fine or something along those lines, but a direct heir must be noted. I want to see variety - please be creative with your characters! Your characters should be realistic. No wings, different colored skin, etc. I will allow for unique eye color. I have noted the way the people are in the kingdoms and their jobs as a way to give you an idea of them - this does not mean you have to follow that entirely. Exceptions can be made on whether or not your character is male or female based on current gender ratio. However, this is more appointed to the suitors. If you have questions, PM me or ask in the discussion!

Sagar Ivo "Was the giant sword and armor not obvious enough for you?" Name Sagar Ivo Alias Sagar the Ruthless Nicknames Sage Age 30 Gender Male Sexuality Wouldn't you like to know... Role One of those Invited Kingdom Slorean Occupation He works as a high ranking officer of the Capital Watch Formerly a Knight in Slorea Reputation Sage is mostly known for his good work in, well, killing. It's been said he's been a mercenary for more private matters, being trusted by the High Council and all. As a high ranking officer, he's mostly respected and his authority isn't questioned. He's a diligent and hard worker, rarely is he ever out of his armor. Motive He just works for the High Council and the Capital. Nothing more. Appearance Sagar is not a sight to behold. Scars and mean looks. Tired eyes. His skin is of a rough texture, his hands calloused and his knuckles bruised. His complexion is relatively fair, scars apparent and littered all throughout his body. He stands at roughly six foot four with a stout and beefy build. He has defined muscle but his shoulders are wide and his abdomen has some extra fat on it. He has very little for things like freckles, though the occasional one can obviously be found. His hands are quite large, calloused and blistered. The more obvious and horrific scars are on his back and his right side of his abdomen, all of which were from sword fights. The scar on his back runs from his right shoulder down and across his spine, and stops about midway of his back. It is thick and deep, still engrained in his skin in a way. The other stab wound is apparent but not as devastating. Sagar has a scruffy face. His face shape is that of an oval, appearing more rounded because of his facial hair that makes it also look elongated as well. His beard is of a short length, grease and grime imbedded in it at this point. One thing about Sagar is you can almost always expect him to look dirty. Disgusting. Any exposed skin probably has some sort of dirt on in. Maybe blood. Anyway, his beard is of a dark brown, some gray hairs showing through though sporadic. His eyes are almond shaped and are a bright green in color, speckles of brown and yellow apparent. His eyelashes are thin yet dark. His eyebrows are thick and bushy and are quite straight, giving him a constant stoic look. He has a number of eye wrinkles and smile lines, especially apparent when he's giving any sort of expression. His nose is straight with a slight bump in the middle, a small scar crossing it. His lips are quite thin and dry, probably chapped. They are a light fleshy pink, his lower lip slightly heavier than the top. Sagar has a full head of hair. His hair lingers just below his ears and is normally pushed back, though has a middle part. Pieces will fall in front of his face at times, though normally he tries his best to keep it out of the way as it's not long enough to tie back. It almost always looks greasy. Or is it wet? Who knows, but just dirty. It's a dark black in color, leading down to his slightly lighter beard. The grayness isn't as apparent in his thick mop of hair, though it still slightly lingers. He tries to keep it at the length it's at to the best of his abilities. His hair is straight, but again, thick so it has some natural volume to it with its own charm. Uhh, he doesn't really care. Clothing? Fashion? That's a foreign world to Sagar. He's likely wearing a cotton shirt and a pair of black jean-like pants and leather boots below his armor. He doesn't wear a helmet unless necessary, but he wears shoulder pads and chest armor. Depending on weather, he may wear a fur clock above everything for extra warmth. On his right hip is his sword sheath, which is made of steel and has a dark grip with leather wrapped around for extra grip. He has a knife tucked away in his pants at any given moment as well, normally hidden by his clothing. For special occasions, don't expect a wardrobe change, but he might look a little more clean and less tired... maybe. Personality Your average, devoted knight. Except he's not a knight in shining armor. While obedient of what he's asked and great at the tasks handed to him, Sage has a tendency to be very, very focused on his work. He almost lets it consume him in a way as there is nothing else going on in his mundane life. This is all he's done since he was barely an adult, so he's grown quite used to it. However, he doesn't wish he had a normal childhood as he actually loves his job and serving the people. He's selfless in that way and has never used his ranking or connections to try and get something he wanted. As a knight, your job is to serve, and that is just what Sage does without question. But when you have a loyal soldier, who knows how often that gets taken advantage of. You see, Sage doesn't have much for morality. If he's asked, he'll do. He doesn't ask questions. He's your dog on a leash, and he'll go as far as you let him. He'll go even extra far if he's someone you care about. Speaking of, being someone that this man cares about should be a blessing. As if he's not already loyal enough and devoted, he will protect you for his lifetime. Maybe even from the grave somehow. However, this isn't just anyone. You have to really know Sagar. His faults. His wrongdoings. His sins. His decent deeds. He is a man who would do anything for his tribe and he makes that obvious. If you tell him that someone were bothering you, don't ask - he'll pay them a visit in no time. Of course the extent of murder is a crime, but that's not to say he doesn't know how to dispose of a dead body or maybe even a couple. Getting to know Sagar can become a task as his depths are unmatched and his beliefs are a bit questionable at times, making for a conversation starter. But know that Sagar is loyal to what he believes is right the most - not just because you're his superior. He plays nice guy until you're not around. Although he's honest, pissing off someone who could just as easy remove Sagar is not a smart move. Sagar has been known for his great warfare strategies and other street-smart tactics, but he's unsure of how most politicians and royalty members go about getting someone removed, and he's sure it isn't pretty. Regardless, he'll probably say his opinion of you to your face anyway, especially if you ask. He figures it's the least he could do for you. Sagar has a tendency to come off as your average masculine energy - no emotion, doesn't express himself, demanding, and probably a bit of a dick. However, although he sort of is those things, he does find it easier to express himself with humor. He has a witty sense of humor and is probably bound to make some sort of unnecessary comment, need it or not. However, he isn't just going to say anything to anyone. When around superiors he is still respectful and likes to keep that respect to the best of his abilities. He doesn't find it hard to maintain it as they do for him, therefore, he's mostly quiet unless spoken to around those who bark their orders at him. Sagar mostly gives what he gets, and while he isn't competitive, he'll probably be a bigger asshole than you ever could and that's for a fact. When it comes to conversation, a lot of them are short lived. He isn't into politics. He doesn't like small talk. Sagar likes conversation that would be interesting to everyone in the room, not simply asking if the weather will turn bad in the upcoming days. When he speaks, he either speaks with authority or he's speaking from the heart and there is definitely a way to tell. His demeanor will almost automatically change in a moments notice. He's able to maintain a calmness when in stressful situations as well. But that doesn't mean he's always calm. While he's confrontational and prefers to take the non-genocidal route unless absolutely necessary, he has a mean temper that would easily fuse if the wrong person did something. Sagar is rather tired. A grouchy man. He doesn't like young people. He doesn't understand sleeping around. He doesn't understand disrespect. He doesn't understand most things. But what he does know is that he liked what he likes and if that's not you then... oh well. You can always try to prove to Sagar that you're more than a certain thing, but he really doesn't care. He's quite apathetic towards those he doesn't know, and he likes to keep his circle quite small. He makes it obvious that greeting him in the street does not make him your new friend. He doesn't really have time for friends as consumed as he is in his work. It's hard to find Sagar out and about, drinking at a tavern or even out of his armor. Regardless, among his sarcastic remarks and grouchiness, he's always alert and ready for a fight if needed. As long as you tell him. Just like your dog. Strengths +Weapons Handling (mostly swords and knives, a bit of bow and arrow) +Physical Strength +Loyal +Honest +Trustworthy +Horseback Riding Weaknesses -Agility -Swimming -Conversation -Slightly a dick -Distant combat -Tempermental Affiliations TBD Relationship History TBA Kin Open Other PM me to plot with this guy ;)
