Desired Rank: She was happy with her position, but more and more she has found her eye drawn towards the Alpha Female, although she knows she is not close enough to challenge her, yet.

Appearance:

Malumbra has a gorgeous white base coat, with a top layering of gray, giving her almost a silver sheen. Her face is predominantly white, with a streak down her nose that is a deep dark gray, and a thin lining around each eye of the same coloring. Her ears are striking, being of the same dark shade of gray as her nose streak. In contrast to her the rims around them, her eyes are a bright gold, especially if caught in the sun where they shine like honey straight from the comb. Although she stands at 32 inches tall, and weighs 135 pounds, she is still extremely fast and agile. Having trained herself hard, a lot of her weight is muscular, and when she runs you can see her muscles rippling under her shining fur.
Being a warrior means giving up certain things, included in which is beauty. Although many are hidden under her lush fur, still some scars are very visible, including two that crisscross over her nose, and one slashing across her left eye. Another scar runs from the back of her right leg down to her paw. All these are old scars, but still the the scar over her eye will cause her a lot of discomfort, itching and burning on humid days.

To anyone who doesn't know her, Malumbra would seem a harsh, fearsome wolf, mostly due to her eye scar, with no softness anywhere in her. But that would be extremely misguided. Though anyone who hears her strong and deep howl might disagree, she is in fact an extremely gentle and caring canine, especially with pups. Often she can be seen laying underneath a pile of wriggling youngsters as they "take down" the warrioress. But she can be just as focused and fierce as she is gentle, and will protect her pack at all costs, rarely backing away from a fight. And even though she may be feeling the draw of the position Alpha Female, she is also incredibly loyal, hiding her feelings within her to protect the balance of the pack.
She also has an odd fear of ice, and avoids going over any rivers, lakes, or ponds in the winter.

Crush: Part of the reason why she has begun to eye the Alpha Female position, is because of Keefe. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the Alpha Male and Female are not in love, and with him being such a gentle and caring wolf, she feels he deserves better. Besides the fact that he is undeniably handsome, she loves his mischevious fun loving side, and she wants to be the one he shares that with. Though she tries hiding it to protect the pack from disunity, she knows she loves him, but she also knows that unless she can move up in ranks, her dream is unreachable.

Aspen is dark grey and a sort of dusty grey and brown colour all over. His coat is as dark as the late dawn that comes with the wintertime and his eyes have a certain shine to them in the daylight. Being dark in colour gives him a great advantage at night, him therefore much proferring that time to hunt.

His sense of hearing and smell make up for his eyes in the dark, however, and he has become an avid tracker using his strengths. His fur has a little bit of pattern, the top of his back only. He has a lighter underbelly, a typical colouring for wolves. His legs are a creamy sand colour, as is his belly.

Apart from that he is mottled in colour, dark enough to not be recognized by prey. His pads and nose are black, forever twitching with some type of new scent. His tail is of an average length, but it is quite fluffy and furry. He is of an above average male height, about 36 inches, larger than most. His length is slightly over average, just 5.7 feet, and he uses this mass well in combat. His weight is around 140 pounds, so he is much larger than some of the wolves in the pack.
One part of his presence that makes him feared by most in the surrounding area is his eyes. His deep amber eyes. They bare down on everyone and everything, especially Omegas.

Personality:

One thing that is very recognisable about Aspen is his howl. Yes, his howl is loud, dominant and powerful. It will send shivers down your spine and make you paws feel weak beneath you. Beware of him, especially those who have made him your enemy.

Aspen is a very intelligent and worthy wolf. He rose through the ranks of the pack from an early age, and is now a renowned warrior amongst the pack. He is calm and collected, willing and content, not afraid to try new things, and has great respect for his ancestors and those who prove worthy in the pack.

He is a fit wolf. His build, despite being large, is actually quite good for stamina, at reasonably high speeds. He prefers to pounce on prey rather than sprint in a full-blown chase. His prime sense is definitely his eyes. His eyesight in itself is sometimes all he needs to hunt. But of course, he has trained his other senses to help him find prey quicker.

Fighting is his preference over hunting, especially because of his size, but even he likes a good hunt in the forest. That is his favourite place to hunt. The plains require too much speed, that he doesn’t exactly possess. He has stamina, yes, but not speed for short bursts.

He is a master in combat. Wise and thoughtful about every single move he attacks and defends with.

Another thing that he really enjoys is swimming, nothing to him is better after a hard day of patrols and hunting than a quick dip in the stream nearby. He finds that it cools his mind as well as his body, and definitely calms his mood.

He is quite the flirt, and ever the gentleman. He enjoys the presense of both males and females within the pack. But nothing beats the desire for a lifelong mate. He also hopes to one day become Alpha Male alongside Mishka. Now that, would really fulfill his life.

+Knowledge & Intelligence - He has seen a lot, knows a great deal, and has been many places in his lifetime. Although not the wisest in the pack, he is certainly more knowledgable than most.

+Stamina - He is 'full of beans' as they say. Perfectly capable of running long distances. He enjoys it, definitely finding that, like swimming, it clears his mind.

+Combat - This is probably his most well-known strength. He is a very hard to read type of fighter, catching wolves off-guard with ease.

+Swimming - This strength is definitely one of his favourites. He thrives in this activity. Th water seems to be very theraputic, and brings grace amd lightness to his large frame.

+Leadership - As a warrrior leading patrols, this strength is necessary, but his abilities are very prominant. He not only leads, but tries to inspire the wolves in his pack, enjoying every moment of it.

Weaknesses:

+Hunting in open spaces - Eh, he admits to this weakness. Because of his large frame, he struggles with this activity.

+Being alone for too long - This is one of his worst fears. He has quite bad abandonment issues, although he is working on it. So far, barely any wolves know about this.

+Occasional anger issues - Like all wolves, he occasionally gets angry. He has a few issues controlling his temper sometimes, but is trying to improve on this. Ths is a trait of his that he really dislikes.

+Speed - He lacks speed. That's all there is to it. He is definitely not as swift as some of the smaller wolves in the pack, but this doesn't really effect his day-to-day life and the odd battle he has.

Name Meaning:

The first thing you notice about this young male is the chilly aura that surrounds him. His passive, and rather at times - unfriendly looking face . Their is a certain stoicism to this young male, he always bears a calm yet passive demeanor- rarely if ever letting any other emotion show on his face. He can be quite chilly, with sharp glares and rather quick to show his fangs if needed or he doesn't want you around - most agree that he's quite a prickly fellow to try and get close to. He's one to stick to the shadows he loves so much, observe and watch from the background without you even noticing - taking in information and filing it away for himself . He's very observant, one to try and understand others by watching them engage with others. Now it's true, he does fancy being alone and taking time for himself, but he is by no means shy. If you try and talk to him, you will get a conversation out of him, whether it be pleasant - will be up to what you are talking about. He absolutely hates small talk, it's so boring and cliché, if you're discussing something more exciting then you can peak his interest in the subject . Now, it is to be noted, he can be a bit blunt with his words, and they can come across as harsh but for the most part he means well, you'll know when he truly means to insult or rile someone up. He's not one to sugarcoat things, if you want the truth - he will give it to you plain and simple, he doesn't like to beat around the bush, or to overdo things. He's the friend that can be a bit of an ass, but he will keep it straight and honest with you. He's also not one to warm up to new people within a group, and he has certain talent for being able to read others emotionally and mentally, and it can lead to him either liking you or him despising you. If you don't pass the "vibe check" the he's not rocking with you, and he has very few people that he does rock with.

This young canine is a rather hard worker, any task assigned to him, he will do to the best of his ability to make you proud. He can be rather passionate about things - always looking to improve and better himself, be it mentally or physically. He's still growing , and has a lot to learn - one thing is, he's confident in himself and he'll be damned if anyone tried fo brush him off just because of his age.
