With a tan coat that displays the light golden hue of the desert sands and of the intense light of the sun that shines down upon fields and forests, a deeper hue of reddish brown blended into the fur of her lean flanks and creeps along her sides and down her slender forelegs in an orange tinting, she is a rather lovely creature. The distinctive layering of deep gray-black in the tones of writing graphite that gave her kind their name is torn asunder by slashes of a high silvery color, creating an intricate patterning of midnight shadows in the forest cut through by the streams of moonlight forcing their way through the cracks that leaves give.

The color that the setting sun paints upon lingering clouds is present within the short fur of her ears, coloring the length of her narrow jaws with tones of fire that tangle with the far lighter hues of white and gray that peek through the mask that nature has given her. The lighter hairs laid upon the creature's underside from lower jaws to the inside of each long leg fade from the richer colors that decorate her form to a hue like that of fresh cream, a tinge of white to the mixture lending a certain starkness amongst the richer shades.

Standing at 19 inches from shoulders to the ground, she stands at a rather tall height for a creature such as she, upon the highest heights that normally belongs to the males of her kind. The construction of this female is slender and primarily designed for speed and agility with the idea of physical power a wisp of a thought within her creator's mind, the long stretching legs of her form complete the impression of a certain type of regal fragility, a fineness that can only be found within the ranks of those creatures suited for the harshness of the wilds. There is indeed a lean strength that ripples her muscles beneath the sleekened coat, that propels her across the land in swift strides and that freezes her form with a predator's stillness as she lies in wait, a muscle found within the sly, elusive things that skitter in the corners of vision and slink within the concealing shadows with glinting eyes.

With a smooth, gliding manner of movement that speaks to the athletic ability that is often relied upon for survival, it is a rather graceful picture that this creature makes when she is visible to the sight of an onlooker. Capable of throwing the breaks on and switching direction within a moment's notice, there is an impression of fine control within her every move, the manner in which she does so is with calculated steps of those that properly appreciate the inherent speed and agility with which they have been gifted.

As observant a creature that ever tread through the dry grasses and sun-warmed dirt of the savannah, all but the fewest of events manage to slip through the cracks of her attention. From creeping, slinking things that decide to test their luck against her vigilance when sufficient reason is given for it to be sharpened, to the ones that are as brazen as the sunlight and twice as sharp, she will undoubtedly be regarding all walks of life with keen ears and attentive eyes. With this incredible perceptiveness runs a healthy dose of a logical streak within her mind, the need to discard those passing by as potiental threat or ally or neither is strong, the ability of theorising intentions by the processes of logical thoughts is a natural accompaniment to the vigilance that pervades every inch of her psyche.

There exists a wicked intelligence within her mind, a sharpened cunning developed from the seeds that suspicion and the need for concealment had planted, a trait that she has always been rather intent on utilizing to tilt the odds of survival to favor her. Oftentimes there is a politeness that characterizes interactions with other creatures, a distant courtesy following the customs of politicians and diplomats who disguise dislike with a cooly welcoming demeanor, that is sometimes flavored with the hints of a dry humor buried within the phrasing of the words that she speaks. A pleasant enough creature to carry a conversation with, yet those who do approach her often gather the impression that there are elements to her story that are being withheld, an aloof cordiality is the mark stamped upon the memories of those interactions with strangers.

Unassuming in the ways that only the smaller of creatures are regarded as, the appearance of this female presents a threat that is nigh nonexistent, the sharp fangs and the capability for bringing down both prey and rivals that are far larger and stronger than she typically ignored in favor of the slighter height of her stature and the graceful fineness of her form. While it is a fool's errand to underestimate any of the bonded animals abilities, it is to her fortunate that many appear to be willing to overlook her in favor of the beasts that are the more dangerous, for she works best when there are hostile eyes pointed elsewhere.

There exists a quiet confidence placed within herself and inside the physical feats that can be preformed, draping across her slender form in the same manner as a cloak, unmovable and solidified by the knowledge of what the limits to her abilities are. It is indeed a rare time when she comes to doubt in a decision that had been made, when the creeping dread of having chosen the wrong path slinks into her heart and casts a shadow of hesitation over the mind.

The nature of creatures ranges from those who thrive within communities to the ones who rely on only their strength and cunning without placing trust in another, from the sweeping range of both ends of the spectrum to the ones that fall into the many in-beween places, she falls into the category of those fiercely independent creatures. Unwilling to be burdened down by restrictions placed upon the backs of those who bother to form various connections, preferring the need to survive with only the lean strength of her muscles and of the quickness of her mind and the presence of her human counterpart, she views the state of depending upon others in a major way with distaste. With this particular trait comes the element of disliking the company of strangers and the tendency to avoid seeking the socalization that so many seem to live for, rather unwilling to mill about with her fellow creatures without a dedicated purpose to the action, she is not a social thing by nature. Aside from her human, she is a solitary thing and almost seems to disdain the strange intricacies that are present within social interactions. Unfortunately, this trait does mean that she is unpracticed in the art of working alongside others within a team.

An incredible amount of determination burns bright within every fiber of her being, embedded into the material of her bones and woven into the components of her genes, it is the thing that urges her to disobey any suggestions in the pursuit of her goals and it is what has aided her when trapped in a tight corner, whethet it be physically or verbally. There seems to be no bounds to the persistence of her being. With this rather impression element comes the aspect of being incredibly stubborn when she sees the need to be, the sharper edge of the otherwise positive trait, attempts of changing her focus to what others consider a worthwhile pursuit will only result in her digging in those claws and battling harder.

As a result of the near constant vigilance that is employed, coupled with the knowledge that a less than desireable fate could be found if captured, she is a rather suspicious thing, quickly becoming distrustful of any that may approach despite the outwardly cordial pretense that marks any interactions with other animals. A stranger posing a question that is even vaguely alarming will immediately have her on the defensive side, withdrawing further from the meeting and becoming slightly colder than normal. Unwilling to lend trust in others easily, she is often hesitant to give others the benefit of the doubt.

A surprisingly vicious creature when a situation has turned for the worse or when there has been suffient provocation, she can transition from a seemingly unassuming individual into a nigh bloodthirsty fighter with sharp fangs on display, and she far from afraid to use the weapons nature has given her. For all the elegant narrowness of her form and the alert sharpness in her eyes, the features that lend her the impression of something adverse to combat, she is a downright ruthless combatant when it is necessary, and a rather dangerous one if given the right environment in which to match an opponent, the determination blending with the ferocity to create a nightmare if left unchecked. Not a creature to be underestimated when riled, she will gladly remind others that it is a foolish thing to believe that the smaller animals are easier to fight.

There is a rather large piece of her personality that is apathetic to the plights of those who are outside the circle of those she knows as friends and allies, it is an uncommon occurance when a stranger manages to kindle the empathy that stays out of reach for these unknowns, a sign of a dire circumstance indeed if she feels more than the passing spark of understanding to a poor soul. Loyal to only her bonded and to a select group of closest associates, she is focused upon their survival above the lives of outsiders.
