Kieran has always been known as a peacekeeper of sorts. Whenever those around him cannot seem to make a decision, using his knowledge and logical thinking, he always manages to have the answer. He's very well known for his passive demeanour, always bending himself backwards to please or impress those around him. Other's also tend to simply call him a nerd as he is almost always engrossed in his studies or the library books.

Appearance:

Kieran is a bit on the shorter side compared to most other boys, with a height of only 5'4. Not that he is exactly height challenged or so, but when compared with most others he's in company with, he tends to disappear in or behind the crowds.

His build can easily be described as rather scrawny, with next to no muscle definition whatsoever. He often looks fragile to others, as if he could be blown over with ease like some kind of twig.

He has an adorable mop of medium length jet black hair that appears slightly wavy when left unbrushed, reaching just above his shoulders. The locks frame his softly rounded face, his skin a little pale from all his time indoors and yet his nose and cheeks are lightly dusted by freckles.

His eyes are wide and always full of curiosity and wonder, holding a bright gold hue like the sun had been captured within. His innocent pouts and gentle gazes bring comfort and warmth to most he encounters, with his features generally appearing soft, rather expressive at times making him easier to read than an open book.

Adorning his face, he also wears small golden framed glasses, which are accompanied by a small chain that holds a charm in the shape of a golden star. He is always seen wearing them, the golden framed glasses and charm matching his golden hued eyes perfectly.

His lips are a soft tinted pink, with a perfect bow shape upon his upper lip. They're rather plump, the extra colour often drawing attention and giving them an inviting look. When he smiles, dimples form on both his cheeks, giving him that same dorky appearance to match with his nerdy tendencies.

He tends to wear darker coloured clothing as he finds it easier to pair outfits together when the pallette is rather dim. His preferences lie in black tunics or black robes, but overall he isn't exactly fussed as he doesn't venture very far except for the odd occasion in which he may dress up in more eye catching colours like white or gold.

Personality:

Kieran is one of those individuals that can capture your heart in mere moments, whether it be romantically or platonically. Many like to say that his heart is as golden and warm as his eyes, with him having moments where he continuously displays such kindness and warmth to those around him. He's always sure to use his manners and speak politely, sometimes even allowing himself to be spoken to rudely out of fear of people disliking him.

Kieran tends to bend himself over backwards simply to appease others, regardless of his rank or the rank of others. Even a stable boy could speak to him awfully and Kieran would be dead set on making things right again. He dislikes seeing others in negative moods, and will always go the extra mile to find the root of ones problems simply to make them better again.

Despite his attitude around people, he also just as often has moments of severe awkwardness. His nose is always buried within a book on one topic or another, and should someone ask about something he's enthusiastic and well knowledgeable on, you best believe that your schedule for the next few hours is guaranteed. He can easily get embarrassed once realizing the extent of his ramblings, often being able to draw himself back to reality as he reminds himself not everyone actually cares about some random plants found by rivers or the different trading routes that are often plagued by bandits or whatever other useless knowledge he possesses.

Although, that being said, it's thanks to his vast amount of knowledge on so many varying topics that he's usually highly sought out by others to settle debates or even make tough decisions that others hesitate on.

When Kieran isn't yapping someone's ear off or is simply feeling a bit low battery with social interactions, he can become rather reclusive, often disappearing to gods knows where to avoid interactions. Generally he hides out in the far back corner of the library out of sight or occasionally the servants wing where even the servants are unaware of his presence nearby. (He loves the storage closet, where he usually sits upon a crate inside.)

Venting or ranting to him is usually rather difficult, between him attempting to be sympathetic and holding himself back for dropping any kind of solutions he can figure out.

Despite his attitude, should an argument break out, Kieran will almost always put himself in the middle to try and de-escalate things. He always prefers to fall back on diplomatic ways of settling things rather than aggression and violence. While his confidence can be boosted during high tension moments, without fail he usually falls back to nervous stutters and sputtering of his words as the adrenaline wears off, leaving him in a vulnerable and shy state of self consciousness.

Kieran is usually labelled as an introvert, as upon first meeting him he tends to be shy and quiet, always fidgeting with his sleeve or the charm on his glasses. But of course, once you can get him to open up more, you'll never get him to shut up or leave you alone ever again.

He can also be rather oblivious and dense to some situations, like subtle flirting or venting as mentioned before. Due to this, he can be a reliable shoulder to lean upon for level headed advice or even a good laugh as his brain processes that someone has actually taken an interest in him, leaving him a stuttering, blushing mess.

Kieran's easily attached to others, sacrificing a lot of himself to stick around with his friends or others he cares about.

He also has a cheeky side due to his huge sweet tooth. Whenever the chefs lower their guard, he without fail almost always manages to swipe a few of their sweet pastries and other desserts, scurrying off to his hiding spot in the storage closet to eat them.

°~Sometimes can be a bit oblivious and therefore blunt with certain topics and his responses.

°~A beacon for logical support (Everyone knows they can go to him if they need answers for almost anything.)

Weaknesses:

°~Massive sweet tooth. No matter the situation, if sweets are involved, you can kiss his focus goodbye.

°~Isnt usually the most social of people, preferring instead to study and read rather than interact with others, leaving his social circles very very limited.

Motive:

Kieran usually tries to keep an open mind for most things. But his biggest dream or goal even, has always been to make a more peaceful world for people to live in. A place that's safe and inclusive for all, without all the meaningless wars, blood shed and other acts of aggression and violence.
