Appearance:
Salal doesn't stand out much when it come to her looks. She has an average body built - she weighs as much as most females and is shorter than most males of her kind.
She has a motley coloration. Her coat is cream agouti that is reddish on her back. She has black patch marking on her neck and another black-and-white on her back. She has white tips on her tail and ears. Her snout is red.
Her skin is gray, but her nose is a bit darker in color. Salal's eyes are dark gold that glows in the dark.

Personality:
Salal could be easly described as shy because of her calm nature. In reality it's quite the opposite. She isn't afraid of opening up to others, likes to chat and engage in a small talk. However, she isn't a big fan of strangers. While she doesn't have a grudge against other packs, she prefers to avoid coyotes that aren't from hers.
She is family oriented. Her relationship with her pack is very important to her. Salal has never been paired with anyone before but wishes to have a mate. She likes to play with pups in her freetime and doesn't mind them hanging around her.
Salal tends to be skeptical about most of things. She doesn't trust most coyotes' word and needs to have it proven to her before she fully belives it. Sometimes she can be quite annoying because of that. The only exeption to this rule are situations in which someone is in immediate danger.
The last thing that is very characteristic of her is being a bit nerdy. She is fascinated by herbalism and studies it. She likes to go on mini escapades in search of different kinds of plants. When somebody shows even the slightest interest in what she does, Salal immediately brisks up.

Strengths and weaknesses:
She is neither good at fighting nor at hunting. Althoug she has a good sense of smell, she is not very good at chasing and overpowering her prey. For this reason Salal heavily relies on her pack. However she is doing well with gathering herbs - this is why she decided to become who she is now.
