For quite a few years, White Stag Pines and Monarch Fields have had generations of rivalries, with the Autumn Hollows Invitational acting as the stage for their annual showdowns. Many riders have come and gone through the two rather prestigious stables, and the competition is always fierce, neither getting the upper hand against the other for too long. This year, however, will definitely bring change to both, welcome and unwelcome. A fire during a particularly dry spring morning at White Stag Pines broke out across the entire property, damaging the facilities, buildings, and burning unsalvaged equipment. Thankfully, when the fire finally died down no casualties or major injuries had happened. The down side? The riders, staff, and horses have been left without anywhere else to turn to for quite a few miles, and with the competition arriving soon relocating over a long distance and trying to recover the necessary equipment would take up too much valuable time. That is when a compromise was struck between the two stables owners. The staff, riders, and horses of White Stag Pines will be allowed to relocate to Monarch Fields until the competition date. Afterall, it wouldn’t be fair if their rival didn’t make their entrance, and it certainly wouldn’t be satisfying if Monarch Fields won without crushing their long-time rivals. Afterwards, White Stag Pines will be focusing their efforts on finding a more permanent solution and better regrouping until things have been rebuilt. Things will not be easy, however. Tensions are high between the two stables, especially with the rumor circulating that the fire was caused by a Monarch rider who left two years ago, their last year ending in defeat. Now with the riders in close quarters and the competition only three months away, will tempers snap, or will the two stables learn to temporarily get along? |

- White Stag Pines - The stable that got burned down. Thankfully nobody was killed during the fire, however a few people are now missing tack and other items. For now, they have agreed to relocate to Monarch Fields until after the competition. The back and sides of the property is surrounded by a vast forest of birch trees and quite the number of squirrels. Occasionally, deer can be seen within the forest and numerous winding paths allow riders to soak in the view. Rumors are that there's a hidden path that leads to a very open cave behind a waterfall, but none of the current riders have been able to find it yet. - Monarch Fields - The stable that has agreed to host the staff, riders, and horses of White Stag Pines. While a few may not be happy about this, they have all agreed it wouldn't be a satisfying win without their rivals making an appearance to the event. The property has the same birch forest that borders the back of the property, however trees have been cleared out to make room for a huge flower field where, true to the name, monarch butterflies tend to flock every year. Facilities are all pristine and state of the art, sporting multiple arenas outdoor and indoor for their riders, electronic gates, vast pastures, round pens, multiple stables, a rider longue, dorms, tack rooms, wash racks, and more! The stable is mainly equipped for English riding, however they do have accomodations for their western riders. Multiple trails span across the property, sometimes intersecting and connecting with paths belonging to White Stag Pines, and offer views of their flower meadows, birch forest, and wildlife. Occasionally, fox, squirrel, badgers, deer, and songbirds can be seen. - The Dorms - The dorms is composed of a small multistory building fit for all of their riders to live in for their time here. All rooms offer a bed, a desk with a spinning chair, book, and stationary, a wardrobe, shelves, and a window seat. The first floor is the common room, with multiple couches, a TV, blankets, and a low table in the middle of the space with some tabletop games provided. Other amenities such as game consoles, pictures, and extra chairs were bought by Monarch Field riders. This space mainly exists to offer riders a chance to socialize or relax. All floors have 2 bathrooms on them. Food is provided in a seperate dining hall building, however riders are welcome to bring food back to this space if they so desire given they clean after themselves - The Rivalry - Nobody is actually sure when the rivalry started, though some assume it was when the stables were first built. With equal amounts of prestige and given the owners were both Olympics level equestrians, it's always a fight to try and attract the best they can offer to train and compete at their stables. Most are quite unhappy with the circumstances, however it's the best they can do at the moment. The friendliness of the rivalries has varied year to year, from friendly to outright hostile, but neither take it too far or put the other riders at harm else they and their horse be kicked off the property. - Autumn Hollows Invitational - An annual event hosted by Autumn Hollows at the estate. While a few other stables in the area are invited to compete, White Stag and Monarch Fields usually end up taking center stage. The prize money offered to the winners and prestige gained by winning helps to make this competition somewhat of a big deal. - The Roleplay - With the competition date coming closer, everyone is on edge and eager to do their best. White Stag Pines riders will have arrived an hour ago when the roleplay starts, with dorm assignments already made and horses stabled so they get comfortable in their temporary new enviorment or with their new neighbors. Thankfully, Monarch Fields is large enough so that classes can run even with two opposing groups, however places like the riders lounge, dining hall, and tack room will have to be shared. The owner of MF has told WSP riders can join the various riding clubs if they so desire. While there are mixed feelings amongst everyone, it'll only be for three months. Some riders don't mind, they may be friendly even. Others are distasteful of the idea. Some are outright hostile, while others try and keep their displeasure to a minimum. |

A C T I V I T I E S - There are a number of rider-led activities throughout both establishments, but since Monarch Fields is the residence the list will only constitute MF rider-led activities. All activities have an unlimited number of riders who can join or participate, and attendance is not mandatory. The style of the club is up to whoever / the people who lead(s) it.
