I decided to try something wild this time. So Bite's backstory, he was born in a pack of wolves, but they were more of just a group of wolves since they didn't have an alpha male. He never got to meet his dad, because his dad was secretly meeting up with another female and decided to leave Bite's mother to be with the other female. So Bite's mother, named Shiitake, (I made that up on the spot) was forced to live with her mother and her father, Juniper and Hati, which were both in their elderly ages at the time and in no condition to lead.
Her sister died before Bite was born of a airborne disease of some type, that Hati caught while taking care of her, and also died. Shiitake and Juniper were forced to leave their beloved home due to this sickness, not willing to risk one of them getting it and dying too.
On their journey to find a new home, they stumbled upon a pack of cougars. The creatures hissed and snarled at first, but after noticing Shiitake and seeing how close she was to labor, they gestured to the wolves where a den was.
Shiitake and Juniper arrived at the den, exhausted, but relieved. Their journey wasn't over yet, but it sure made a big halt.
The next day, one of the adolescent cougars appeared to them, carrying a rabbit in their jaws. They dropped the fuzzy creature in front of the wolves before leaving. The wolves were grateful for the cougar's kind and empathetic acts, and took the rabbit gratefully.
This cycle continued for a week.
Then Shiitake gave birth to a healthy litter of five pups, the cougars helped her care for them, and they thrived for a long time. They are still together to this very day, but Bite left to go start him own family. He actually began to fight somewhat like a cougar by using his paws to claw things every once and a while.

Yes, Bite once got bitten when he was a pup, and earned the name "Bite" because of it.
