To fit the theme of his ½ Korean, ½ Caucasian blend, he has an intriguing mix of features. He sports dark brown, almost black, hair. He wears his hair buzzed to about 1/2 an inch on the sides, and around 2 inches long on the top, brushed forward in a messy style that he often just combs with his hand. He has strangely colored brown eyes, with some very faint blue-ish touches that make them seem almost silvery from a distance. His skin tone is a cool sandy tone, coming from the Korean side of the family. He has a somewhat muscular build, and stands at about 5’10” (and a half). His weight is somewhere around 200 pounds, as he is muscular, but not too bulky. He has rather large and narrow hands and feet, with his shoe size being about 12 in mens’.
He has a many faded peachy scars across the knuckles of his hands, which come from his (somewhat dangerous) habit of punching the nearest inanimate object when he is extremely upset. He wears a black stud earring he made himself out of a stone he found in his left ear. He wears faded dark brown pants that pile a bit onto his maroon colored leather calf-high boots. There is a tattoo of a solid black crescent moon that curves from behind his left ear to the top of his spine. Normally, he's found wearing a simple black, brown, or maroon t-shirt. He will throw on his favorite dark leather vest if he feels a chill. He doesn't wear any perfumes, but his natural smell has a dark and earthen feel to it, almost like the inside of a cave. His voice is an average octave, and just slightly rough. It isn’t especially rich, but has a bit of a rumble to it that some might consider his attempts at seduction when he’s, in actuality, rather self-conscious of the rough tone. (He even went through a phase at 15 where he would force his voice to sound softer but he's decided to just deal with it.)
Personality:

Though he usually wears a light-hearted smirk, his personality is very complicated. Almost to the point that he doesn't understand it. Scratch that, it is to the point that he doesn't understand it. He's got a dark and a light side, similar to everybody else. However, he doesn't know where to being in understanding it or controlling it, though he does a rather decent job. If you ever see his emotional side, it can go two ways. 1) He'll try to become very close to you and show you how much you mean to him or 2) he'll push you away and put up about another 20 walls between you and him.
He is often sarcastic. However, sometimes his sarcasm is taken seriously, and then he'll probably get offended that you really think he would mean what he said, either depicted as teasing you mercilessly or getting really angry at you. In addition, Jay enjoys sarcasm from others on occasion, but he, admittedly, gets annoyed if it's overused. Then again, who doesn't?
He can be reluctant to get to know people on a deeper level, but he is warm and friendly to everybody he comes into contact with. He could be called an ambivert, seeing as he has internalized introverted tendencies, but is outwardly friendly and sociable.
Well, he's also has trust issues, though few know about this. He has a way of making people feel like they know everything about him, and that he's rather emotionally shallow. However, he is simply walling off his emotions, and using humor as a coping mechanism like so many do. This can, quite often, lead to him struggling with how he feels, seeing as he has few people who want to hear him venting about his issues. He considers himself a rock, especially through hard times. Who wants to see their rock crumbling?
He can be flirtatious, and is actually kind of cocky about his ability to woo most of the female species, and a few of the males. He will, unashamed, flirt with either gender, though there's only a chance he's genuinely interested in a woman. He is also a "homiesexual," as many describe him. He owns up to it, and likes to joke that he only simps for the boys.
Both the angel and the devil on his shoulders talk to him often, and he doesn’t always quite know which to listen to. All in all, he's pretty out of touch with his feelings, and anybody who gets close to him is at risk of suffering for it. Though, luckily, few have been intrigued by him thus far.

Strengths: There's too many to count ;)
- Silver tongue/ persuasive: He can talk a bird out of its wings if it'll do him any good
- Wit: He's a very clever and intelligent individual when he's not wrapped up in his head
- Physical strength: He's not disproportionately strong, but he has a good amount, a bit above average for a man his age for sure
Weaknesses: Wouldn't you like to know?
- Emotional imbalance: Handling himself is often difficult when he has such high highs and low lows, he's not level headed all the time
- Can't handle emotional situations: Tell him to soothe a crying child, and he'll probably just break down and start crying too... or awkwardly pat the kid on the back, who knows?
- Self loathing: He can't make it a day without telling himself he'd be better off not existing, it makes being his best self performance wise and personality wise near impossible
- Spiders: He'll scream like a little girl if he's alone in a room with one. But he'll probably hold back the tears if there's somebody present, don't ask him to touch it though
Likes:
- Being alone: It's his therapy, but being alone with somebody he loves is even better
- Dragon riding/Dragons: Sure, he's new to dragons, but they're such a thrill
- Being seen as intimidating: Makes it easier for him to be left alone when he wants it
- Feeling loved: Who doesn't like feeling loved? Leave him alone about it!
- Respect: When he's earned it, this is the most validating thing to receive
Dislikes:
- Disrespect: I mean... who doesn't? But it gets under his skin more than it does for some
- Large crowds: They just make him uncomfortable, okay?
- Dead silence: He comes off as a conversationalist, but he really just doesn't like the silence, it allows him to get in his head

Appearance:
Being some racial mix that she's never been told the exact identity of, this young woman has the striking mix of pale skin and warm, dark brown hair, perhaps hinting towards Asian blood, but a sharper shape to her face and features that hint towards European blood as well. A faint dusting of freckles covers her nose and the top of her cheeks.
She has a straight nose with a slight curve upwards at the end, though hardly noticeable. Her cheeks aren’t too high, but moderate, and her jaw has a soft square shape to it. Her chin is round with a slight square to it. Her eyes are almond-shaped, being on the thinner side, and they’re usually lowered in a thoughtful, determined, or angry stare. Her eyebrows are slightly arched with a downward slope towards her eyes. Her full lips are a pale pink with a slight, but not too pronounced, cupid’s bow.
Her figure is tall and slim, being an rectangle shape with an ectomorph body type with a pear shape and sports about 20% body fat. She stands at 5’10”, on the taller end. This helps give her a lithe appearance. Her gait, smooth and graceful, almost a stalking motion, making her seem somewhat predatory. Her resting bitch face doesn’t help this appearance in the slightest. Her legs make up a lot of her height, being a bit more than half of her body length. She has a smaller bust, making athletics easier for her. Her hips aren’t too wide, either, though they are wider than her shoulders to account for her body type. She’s just all around thin, being of an athletic body type over brute strength.
She is dusted with small nicks here and there from small incidents (climbing trees, tripping, playing with knives…) However, there is a 3 inch scar, very faded rosy pink, on her left cheek. It’s in the shape of a line, and it’s from a run-in with a fish hook on one of many failed attempts by her father to get her into fishing.
Kia is usually found in a light, plain, comfortably loose t-shirt, a size or two too large for her. She typically has this loosely tucked in to a pair of dark blue pants, made of a rough yet flexible fabric.
Her shoes are always comfortable, no fashion sense in them at all, just the most comfortable athletic shoes she finds, but they are quite often plain and match every outfit, therefore matching what she wears.
Her hair she keeps up in a sloppy bun, typically with strands falling out of it, which she often doesn't bother to tuck back in.
Personality:
Intelligent, intimidating, defensive, protective, natural-born leader, teasing, playful, (unwittingly) flirtatious.
This woman is intelligent, this is something few can deny. While she is quiet often, which results in the occassional assumtion that she is confused and keeps to herself for fear of saying something dumb, it's completely wrong. She is merely quiet due to her observance and thoughtfulness. If anybody were to challenge her on this, she would typically let it lie and shrug it off, but she'd make a point of proving them wrong from then on. Especially if this involves making the individual in question look dumb.
Intimidating. That's how those who don't know her would describe her in one word. To be fair, she is tall, she is quiet (when she does speak, she had a deep, and even somewhat masculine, voice), she's got a resting bitch face, and a somewhat intense aura. However, she just acts this way as a protective mechanism. If people are intimidated or simply put-off by her attitude, they can't approach her in order to manipulate her or threaten her. It's a win-win.
While this woman can be defensive, as part of protective mechanism, this shell drops as soon as she realizes you don't want to be a threat or you don't have the capacity to be one. So, if you align yourself with her or are just plain dumb, then she'll be on of the biggest mocking, teasing, and playful individuals you'll meet.
Yes, she's protective. She has to be. She's good at fighting, and she cares too much about people, so she has every right to be protective of her loved ones. This does, however, mean that getting on the wrong side of her or someone she cares for could result in losing a finger or two.
Kia is a natural-born leader. Just being around her will make it evident. She has a commanding air, even when she's being playful. She tries not to be rude or unnecessarily mean, but she will be very firm and might bully those who aren't behaving, just a little bit.
To elaborate further on what was stated earlier, she is very playful and teasing. She was raised in a family where playful roasts are a sign of affection rather than bullying, and she doesn't attempt to filter it now that it's been trained into her. So, if you're a sensitive soul that doesn't understand a joke, a relationship with her won't work out.
Lastly, this poor woman is unwittingly flirtatious sometimes. She doesn't mean it most the time, she really doesn't. She doesn't consider herself especially attractive, but she's had guys ask her out after she's been unwittingly flirting and had to apologize about a million times in such instances. So... she might flirt with you without meaning it, but this could also be a subconscious portrayal of her feelings for you, who knows?

Strengths:
- She is athletic and graceful
- Extremely talented with knives, but rather well-rounded in all fighting styles
- She has a silver tongue, though she can't really control it, she can just sometimes manipulate people, and sometimes has to fall to her knees begging for that which she wants

- Asthma, while not extreme, it affects her and she has the occasional attack
- Those she loves. She will go to the ends of the earth and eagerly get herself killed for those she loves, even if said individual doesn't return the sentiment
- She isn’t naturally likeable to most, and often has to put in an effort to have people like her

- Being in a leadership role, she won't put immense effort to make others listen to and respect her, as she doesn't care to unless she is in a position of responsibility
