| Ezra, Oh I see! I thought that was a class in a bigger course I'm gonna start a software dev course in July, my experience with programming is mostly in gamedev so that's gonna be interesting for sure |

| Ezra, I love them too!!! I grew up playing with them, if you're struggling wrapping your head around the logic of a cyoa looking over their stuff could help :) |

| Ezra, I made a script that reads a text file and turns each bit of "special formatting" into code, so I can write dynamic scenes; that's the parser bit The "little language" is a DSL, they're just... a tool in gamedev for me What course are you taking? Also the idea of a biological spaceship idea sounds so fun!! |

| Ezra, I think choicescript uses Python wrapping? Unsure, but it might help you as inspiration |

| Ezra, Omg that's such a coincidence because right now I'm working on a text CYOA game as well!! But mine's in C#, I built my own parser and little "language" for my text files |
