I support Kong, mostly due to my own personal feelings. I enjoy his character, yet Godzilla would kick his ass in an actual fight.

That something is nuclear plasma. Not to mention depending on the rendition of Godzilla; (Showa, Heisei, Millennium, Reiwa, Etc), each have different power levels.

He is a walking nuclear power plant, as Godzilla's character is an analogy of the fear of Atomic War.

Anyhow, IF Kong won, home boy would have serious skin cancer.
