I work as an underground miner. I've seen mine spiders. I've never jumped off a piece of machinery that fast, those things are the size of an adult man's hand. Disgusting.
Howler Pack
Thanks! I don’t know which is more terrifying, hurricane season, or breeding season. Ugh.
American rebels
The kid got lucky and the yellow tailed baby copper never released any of its venom
ZefhyrMaracaibo
oh! horrible dangerous snankes you got around there. i am glad you are okay after all that.
American rebels
Thats true with the babies but its literally a 50/50 shot, its ALL or nothing meaning they cant control their venom output but at the same time they cant control it so its either they release all their venom at once or none at all, which happened at a neighboring school a mile from mine on their soccer field
American rebels
King snakes will eat venomous snakes while the rat snake eats your mice and rats
Howler Pack
I’m back. And American Rebels is speaking truth. I nearly died from a whole bunch of baby cotton mouths when I was three, if my mom hadn’t stopped me from stepping on them. The babies r actually more dangerous cause the adults can control how much venom they use, they know how much it takes to kill prey, they don’t overdose. That usually gives u a few minutes to live, babies just gush it in, ur dead within minutes. Our local pool’s kids swim team just restarted after three kids died from a bunch of babies and a girl had to get her leg amputated.

Rattlesnakes are the same way they also give live birth but some species like the timber rattler will den up in groups and stay together, garter snakes are 1 of many beneficial snakes along with the king snake and rat snake
American rebels
But theres also over 20 different kinds of non venomous water snakes as well that unfortunately get mis-identified every year
American rebels
Not necessarily, the they can be on the sides of road ways and not just junk piles, I studied herpitology and the general rule of thumb for water vipers such as cotton mouths and copper heads is any area that has the ability to stay moist and damp for long periods of time, doesn't necessarily mean dark tho, 2 kids were bitten on an open baseball field away from leaf litter and junk piles and 90% of vipers give live birth so when you find 1 baby theres more

I think I'm more afraid of dock spiders than Tarantulas and Black Widows. Those dock spiders run with boots.
Howler Pack
Anyways, gotta check on my wolves. Just got a labor alert from my highest rarity wolves!
Howler Pack
Forget those. We got the tiny demons. Black Widows, Brown Widows (I think that’s what they’re called), and it’s SO terrifying when a jumping spider gets on you. Ugh. Never forget that feeling.
Sarcophapup
I think I’m too rural southern for this chat, I used to stick my fingers in the holes to figure out what was hiding in them. Spiders were usually the answer, tarantulas banked on the free real estate after the previous spiders left
Darkvexia
I'm afraid of every dime to dollar sized hole. We have wolf spiders and dock spiders, and they burrow. You never know which hole has Satan's spawn in it.
