I'm also around children a lot so I'm staying out ( i have a job after school I work at a daycare my church owns I'm a cleaner but technically the children are supposed to treat me like a teacher and I've even been called that I also get gifts during appreciation week)

Fei Fair. Haha! I still work with them and had to learn with no support from my employers. I learned quite a few tricks and even have come to enjoy some of the more challenging ones

Dark If this is from student to student perspective? Ignore them. Don't react. Let them be, maybe even chuckle. The more you react negatively, the more they will bother you with it. If you don't react negatively, they will get bored and it won't be as fun.

You guys gave me another topic idea to write about: Managing difficult kids in teaching environments

Dark It's the vibes. It sounds funny but it's true. You have to be confident. You have to not show on your face when things annoy you. It's about the stern looks mixed with gentle amusement. Let them have a little, don't strip all of it. Give them some leeway but keep that leeway managed. And laugh/chuckle with them. They tame down with that kind of treatment. Because they know if they stay in those bounds, they can have fun but if they step out, it's all stripped away.
