Alex put the plates in the sink and looked at his bruises knuckles with a shrug. " I am fine, I will try to remember to wrap them next time . I lost my gloves... Don't ask " He the moved his hand to run the back of his neck only to remember the hickeys on his neck that Axel gave him . " I am lucky I have the same skin tone as Olivia since I need to cover these." Alex muttered then remembered last night. He couldn't lie he enjoyed it and wanted to fall asleep next to Axel again since its been over a year since anyone slept in the same room as him and it kept the nightmares away but, if he wanted to keep his walls up he needed to blame this on his wolf. " Ummm... About last night, I'm sorry about what happened my wolf got a little out of control and you could say he... Well , that was all him." Alex said not a hint of lying in his tone sinxe it was true... To a certain extent.

Kaden nodded and moved closer to the stranger before getting into a crouch before seeing a movement behind him as he realized what was happening his eyes shot wide open but he was frozen in shock and fear as he felt a hand over his wide open mouth . Kaden began to struggle and was forced to take in a large gulp of air bwforw everything was a blur as he stopped struggling and tried to stay awake. "Hunter hel-" he was beginning to call his big brother's name by instinct but couldn't finnish his cry for help.

Alex's jaw clenched as he does up after Samson while attempting to stay in the faint glow of the street lights to appear less threatening since he was just doing his job. He was often referred to as obsessed with his job which was not the case since he couldn't even say he liked the job since once you go into the job you are never the same which is why only certain people actually become involved with the department , as any part of the department infact . It was more of a responsibility and a need that he felt that came before a lot of things in his life for a little over a year unlike before that it the need wasn't as present.

Alex quickly caught up with him and a raised a brow guessing the young man was going to say something and was soon proved correct. " Sorry , I can't leave you to be alone for your own safety since you clearly aren't in a right state at this moment..." He commented and was proved correctly when he saw Samson suddenly stagger slightly and reached out a hand to stable the young man but quickly brought his arm back to his side when he saw him get steady. Alex narrowed his eyes at Samson " Exactly that us what I am talking about and you didn't trip since you were standing. Of course, I can walk beside you or follow at a distance but I made it clear that I am no t leaving you alone so don't try anything or you might actually trip" Alex huffed and stubbornly crossed his arms.

Immediately Alex dropped by Samson's side when he mentioned him to follow and smirked as he re-adjusted the file tucked under his arm. " Sorry to disappoint, but you aren't on my long list of people I need to stalk or handcuff. " He walked in step with the young man beside him and narrowed his eyes slightly at the buliding before deeming it non-suspicious as he steps didn't falter as he followed Samson. " I just realized I have a whole lot of walking to do after this " Alex groaned , he might as well just call Isaac to pick him up if he wasn't still at the station since he lost track of where he even I'd and he forgot to pay attention to the signs. Tonight is going to be a very long night and the dreams; no, nightmares is a better term for the seemingly peaceful scenes that play in his head that only seem painful to him and unlike a nightmare that has a satisfying and most likely sudden turn that snaps you out of sleep and allows you to remember that they are fake.

" I am not sure if I should be concerned that you are offering me a place to stay after admitting you have a police record to relieved that you are offering me a place to stay because I don't have to walk home..." Alex commented with a shrug as debated whether or not to trust Samson and eventually his tiredness won. He crossed his arms and sighed " Fine, it's not likely I have anything to worry about since I still have my gun. Also , I need to make a quick phone call once we get inside" he muttered knowing he would have to tell his little sister so she wouldn't get worried and she was fine staying home alone at 16 years old. Of course, that didn't make him feel any better since he promised to be home tonight and she was most likely asleep by now so she most likely already gave up hope for seeing him tonight and just the thought of that made him frown and forrow his eyebrows together before snapping into reality.

"I am not sure since you don't seem like someone that would have a record except maybe for your lack of asleep being confused for drugs..." Alex shrugged as he followed Samson to the little apartment and was suprised by how the darker tines somehow felt warm and welcoming despite the dark colors. He got over this quickly as he followed Samson inside and glanced at the large sleeping man on the couch which compared to Samson made him suprised by how frail the young man was and Alex was normally unsure how to compare other's since he himself was tall, lean , and muscular.

Alex nodded but rhs raised a brow " Where are you going to sleep?" He asked since there technically wasn't enough rooms and so that meant he was going to sleep in someone's room which made him a bit hesitant since he didnt want to cause any trouble. He layed down the case file on the table trying not to make any noise before in hooking his gun belt and despite his best efforts it still made noise but not enough to wake someone up before he unbuttoned his navy long sleeve shirt that was part of his uniform and shrugged it off before placing it with the Other items except his phone. Alex rolled his sore shoulders a few.times before walking over to see what Samson was doing. " So he does have a name... You can call me Alex since you could say Alexander is only my work name since that's the only time I use it" He shrugged.

It took Alex about a second it figure out Axel wasn't happy and he suddenly felt a wave of guilt and regret wash over him since he guessed he somehow caused him to be unhappy. " Okay..." He replied to Axel but when his shirt lifted his eyes caught a few scars and he sighed before following the vampire trying to figure out what he did to make Axel unhappy . It was natural for him to want and keep his mate happy but at this point he could tell if it was the pull, his instincts, his body , or him That felt the need to keep Axel happy and safe.Alex followed the male until he heard what came out his mouth and stopped in shock watching him with narrowed eyes.

The smell of pancakes and that satisfying sound of my roommate screaming had me rolling out of bed in my sgorst from yesterday and without a shirt with a very annoyed look on my face as I opened the door only to quickly and silently shut it when I him walking torwards my room and pretended I was sleep. In a cruel way I found this rather amusing and the fact he thought I couldn't cook was enough to make a smirk spear on my face since I was an amazing cook if I thought so myself . He will figure out eventually. Thus room was a mess, I would clean it if I actaully felt the need to which I don't since like I said before I found that guy's reactions amusing so I after a while I started annoying him on purpose so I wasn't the only one getting frustrated. " Calm down you purple cactus!" I yelled back to him as I change into a pair of dsrk blue ripped jeans and slipped a black hoodie of my bare chest and finally opened the door to be greeted by a loud bang and Keni on the floor .
