Thomas stops moving to look Lucifer in the eyes. "You can't tell me what to do or say to my girlfriend." I says.

I watch, slightly in awe. But I don't stop it. Thomas deserves this.

Thomas seems scared. "Lu... Lucifer..." I stammer. Thomas keeps has stopped by now. "I... I think he has had enough." I try to defend him. But I doubt he will listen. I peer out from the rich old man I am behind. Then I step out.

I desperately want to pull Lucifer off my boyfriend. But I don't think that's going to go over very well. He seems very... strong-willed.

Thomas shakes his head. "People in the world think that they're better than everyone because they can tell what to do. I guess I'm not. Not if I want to be threatened again. I could report this you know." He says.

I pipe up in a quiet voice. "I won't let him. Can we go now? Because you're kind of making a scene, Thomas."

Thomas dusted off his rumpled coat and turns to me. "Let's go, Zoey." He says.

I glare at him. "You only use my name when you want something, or are embarrassed. I will make my way home later. I don't want to be associated with you right now." I say, taking a step back.
