There was a split second where Sloane felt utterly raw and open, but when the fool back, any emotion was pushed back immediately. Sloane was not about to have a coinciding session with an idiot. "No way I'd envy you. You are walking around like a buffoon, not that you aren't always one," With a huff of annoyance, Sloane turned on her heel and left. Although the main reason for her swift departure was not wanted to talk to Kanu, it made her uneasy how he seemed to see into her for a moment there. His words came completely out of the blue right after Sloane thought she had figured him out.

Kanu shrugged and yelled after Sloane as she left. "You can hide it from everyone else but not me princess. Don't worry, I'll keep your weaknesses a secret." He laughed softly before wandering back into the garden, fanning himself with his wings that had grown from his back.

Sloane walked even faster, not letting herself react or look back. She refused to run, as that would be showing weakness, and Sloane did not show weakness. She didn't have a weakness. Kanu was just drunk and crazy, Sloane reassured herself, he didn't know anything about her, and certainly didn't need him to keep her so-called-secret. Once she was outside, Sloane whistled for Gryphem. The griffin stuck around wherever Sloane was, and soon landed down in front of her. She mounted up, and let her hands clentch up into fists now that they were hidden, "I don't care where we go. Let's just get out of this city for a while."

Kanu decided to go on a drunken flight, probably not a good idea but he was bored. Especially since he didn't have a single soul to talk to, or at least flirt with. He liked that flirting part. Maybe he could fight something, earth had to have plenty of dangerous monsters on it, maybe he could kill something. So he flew off, his wings strong despite his cloudy mind.

The pair soared high in the sky, and Sloane let her mind drift away. She was free, at least for a little while, of all responsibilities and the hassle of dealing with people. Creatures like Gryphem were way more her style. Sloane found herself smiling genuinely, and she called, "Let's have some fun, buddy." The griffin knew exactly what she meant. Suddenly, they were rocketing towards the ground, where a large lake sat. At the last second, Gryphem pulled up, his back talons skimming the surface. They gather up some high and began to do spins and loops, and after a particularly fun dive, Sloane realized she had been laughing.

Okay))
Kanu was just minding his business, just drunkly flying around. His dark wings a stark contrast to the clear skys, man, the mortal world was too bright, very unlike hell. He was happily flying about when he spotted Sloane flying om her big beast. The demon frowned, and hurried over to her, his powerful wings announcing his arrival. "Look, I know you're obviously madly in love with me but you can't just follow me everywhere Sloane." Kanu was actually teasing, though he was confused as to why the princess would even want to fly knowing damn well he would also be in the sky.

Sloane's smile immediately dropped into a frown, "I am not in love with you," She protested, "And I enjoy flying. Just because I don't like you that doesn't mean I have to stop doing what I like. The sky is big - Even though we are both flying we can still be far, far away from each other."

Kanu smirked, despite his obvious drunkness, he was a very steady flier. He avoided Sloane's beast's talons and wings and all that extra stuff that monsters tended to have. Including himself of course as he was in fact a shifter. "Ah, I suppose you are right, though I still think you are absolutely in love with me, as most people are." Kanu winked, his words tumbling out of his mouth without the gracefulness that normally came with his age. "I can see you don't like me, especially now that I've analyzed you and everything. I got under your skin, which is obviously one of my many talents. I'll leave you though, because I am such a kind, generous soul. Besides, you look much better when you're smiling, you're so beautiful but so cold. Meh, whatever, I'll be off now." Kanu shrugged and then completely stopped flying, allowing himself to free fall, not looking concerned at all with it all.
