Amara gave a small sigh of relief when she saw Sebastian offer his hand to shake with Haku's. She could tell Haku was nervous when Sebastian mentioned he was from Inferno, as did the cooks, but that was to be expected when the kingdoms were fighting. "T-the Inferno kingdom. Your father approves of this" Haku asked looking at Amara before he shook Sebastian's hand. Amara rolled her eyes slightly before she spoke again. "The marriage was arranged by both sides, so yes, my father approves." Amara couldnt help but be rather annoyed by Haku still being there. "Was there anything important you needed" she asked. When Haku shook his head, he spoke once more. "No princess. I just wanted to make sure you were alright. I heard there were some dangers on your way home, and I wanted to make sure your company, was alright as well." Turning to Sebastian, he spoke. "I am sure you are tired from your travels, and I am sure the princess will be happy to show you around, or we can have a servant do so later." Amara could tell something was off and placed her hand on Sebastian's to try and keep herself from showing she was skeptical about something. "Well, if that is all, then you may leave. Sebastian and I are just fine. We are waiting for dinner for him to meet my father." She sat tall showing that she meant it that he should leave them be. Finally he bowed once more. "Yes princess" he said before giving a bow to Sebastian before he headed off. Amara shook her head. "I'm sorry about that" she said. ~~~~ Haku grumbled to himself after he was out of their rang. He was furious to know Amara was enganged to the prince of the Other kingdom, and seemed to be enjoying herself with him. *She's a traitor if she thinks she can actually care for him* he thought as he made his way to his room. *Now I have to figure out how to get rid of him* Haku thought. Different ideas rolled in his mind, one of which was kidnapping Amara and blaming Sebastian, which could only work if Haku found someone who Amara didnt know, someon Haku could trust so he could be the one to 'save' her, and make her think it was Sebastian or his family. *Yes, turn them against each other! Perfect!*

Sebastian's brows raised when Haku seemed surprised that he is from the Inferno Kingdom. He glanced around the kitchen, seeing that some of the cooks seemed nervous and avoided eye contact with him. He frowned, not sure why they would be nervous. It isn't like is going to burn the kingdom to the ground. He isn't like what the rumors portrayed him as. If anything, he is being way kinder to these people than he should be. Then again, he wants to make a good impression on them to show that he is worthy of marrying their beloved Princess. He also wants to show them that he would never hurt her either. He isn't one to hurt women anyway, let alone Amara. If he ever does. he would never be able to forgive himself for it. He glanced back up though, a small smile on his lips as he looked at Amara. He is glad that she can stand her ground, even if people might question her actions. "We are fine. Just a few scratches. Thanks for checking in." He lied rather easily, making it seem so real when Haku mentioned the bumps on the way here. He honestly didn't mean that he is thankful that the man checked in on them, but he had to make it sound like he truly cared that he did. His eyes narrowed ever so slightly when he clearly declined and that a servant can show him to the arena better. he is definitely going to have to talk to the man later tonight when Amara is asleep as well as Xander and Lorelei. He doesn't want them to know nor does he want them to get involved with what he is going on through his head. They would clearly disapprove and try to stop him as well. Once he was, he turned towards Amara. He grabbed her hand on his shoulder and pressed a kiss to it. He gave her a faint smile, his shoulders shrugging at her words. "No big deal. He bothers us again, I will deal with it." He placed his hands on her waist and lifted her off the counter and onto the ground. He pressed a kiss to her cheek, his hand slipping into hers. "Seem dinner is ready. Shall we go?"

Amara shook her head when Haku left. "I really dont like the way he's acting" she said as she sighed. "That was odd, even for him. He shouldnt have known about it so soon" she added a little quieter. Her blue eyes watched him before she she blushed with him kissing her hand and lifting her off the counter. "You know I could have helped myself off." When she felt the kiss on her cheek, she knew it was obvious she was blushing. Amara glanced over and saw the servants were back to what they were doing, a few seemed happy that none of them seemed as nervous as when Sebastian mentioned who he was. *Good* she thought as she she smiled back at Sebastian. "The dining hall is this way" she said as she motioned to doors on the other side of the kitchen from where they walked in. Her pace was steady as she walked. Once she opened the doors to the dining hall, she saw her father sitting at his normal seat at the head of the table. "Hello father" she said as she stood tall, her facial expressions gone. She watched as her father looked towards both of them. "Glad you made it, alive" he said with an unamused look. The king glanced at Sebastian, looking him over from his seat. "I do apologize you had a bumpy road getting here. Thank you for keeping my daughter safe" he said looking at Sebastian. "I saw the note Amara sent me, and I know what it meant." Amara took her seat, and motioned for Sebastian to sit next to her. She smiled to Lorelei, her face asking how it went with her brother, though not asking out loud right then as she wanted to talk to her more privately than in front of her father.

Lorelei glanced up when she heard the doors open, seeing Amara's father entering the dining room. She stood up and bowed her head respectfully with a soft, sweet smile on her face. She waited for him to sit down before she sat back down herself. Her parents always told her that it is respectful to have the other Queens and Kings sit before you take a seat yourself. She didn't know why as they are all equal, even if she is a Princess instead of a Queen. Her head snapped away from the King and towards the doors when she heard them open again. She smiled at seeing Amara but her smile seemed to grow bigger when her gaze flickered over to her brother. No matter what happens, anyone knows that they have such a strong sibling relationship that it would be hard to break them apart. Sebastian went over to Lorelei, pressing a kiss to her temple. His gaze caught onto the sliver of the scar on her neck. He pulled her hair over it, knowing she wouldn't want anyone wondering what she has hidden under her hair. He leaned down towards her ear away from prying eyes. "How did it go?" He asked, referring to her visit with Aro. She shrugged her shoulders, having him know that she will tell him about it later. He went back over to Amara, pulling her chair out before pushing it in once she sat down. He bowed his head towards the King, a small smile on his lips. "It is alright. I came back in one piece and that is all that matters to me." He said as he looked up at the King once he sat down. "And it is my pleasure. I would do anything to keep both my girls safe." He said, yet his gaze flickered over to Amara. Lorelei glanced up briefly, a small frown tugging at the corner of her lips. She felt a tiny jolt of jealously that her brother is always paying attention and hanging around with Amara ever since they met. As much as she ships them, she wishes that he would still make some time to spend with her. Her frown quickly turned into a small smile once Amara turned her attention onto her. She gave the same shrug she did with Sebastain, not wanting to give any details. She likes knowing things other people don't sometimes. Hell, Sebastian doesn't know everything that happened when she was taken. "It's finally nice to meet you. I'm sorry that we are a day late." He apologized, wanting to have the King know he wanted to be here yesterday. "I'm thankful that you let my sister and I into your kingdom as well. We really appreciate that." He said sincerely.

(Sorry it took so long to get this done) Kayleron nodded to Sebastian. "With the day you had yesterday it just pleases me to know all are safe" he said. "I do not know the details as Amara has not given them, but I will not pressure for any if you do not wish to say." He motioned for the servants to bring out the food, and quickly so they could start to eat as he himself was quite hungry. "I am sure you are hungry. I know you two were munching on a few berries" he said, mostly looking to Amara who giggled since that was something she always did as a kid, "but that wont really hold you over now will it?" He looked at Sebastian once more. "Had I not let you stay, Amara I am sure would have been upset, especially with what your parents and I have planned for you two." He looked to Lorelei before he added, "as for your sister, she will be concidered a guest as long as you are here." ~~ Amara looked towards Sebastian when her father mentioned the last part of what their parents had planned. It reminded her that while she was truely starting to care for him, it wasnt fully her decision to be with him. *My feelings are real though* she thought as she looked back towards her father. "Thank you father." She knew while he sounded sincere about Lorelei staying, that he was more than ready to have any excuse to kick her out, but wouldnt say that out right. Especially not when Amara had asked for them to be there. Amara looked over and saw the servants making their way in with the food for everyone to start eating. As the food was placed on the table, she waited for everyone else to grab from the plates their share like her father taught her for when they had guests. She motioned for Sebastian to get his share in case he was waiting on her. "Perhaps later tonight I can show you the mountains from the top of the castle" she said as she looked at Sebastian. "If you arent too tired." She looked to Lorelei too, hoping she would like to tag along as well.

Sebastian shrugged his shoulders. It really wasn't a big deal yesterday that he got hurt. He would rather it have been him than one of the girls or even Xander. Granted, he wouldn't want it to be someone else either, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be opposed to the idea of someone else getting hurt than him. That probably makes him a bad person, but then again, with what he did yesterday, it could've very much killed him. Even though it didn't, there is always a fifty percent chance of him getting killed and the other half having him get injured but stay alive. "There isn't much to say. My personal guard went up ahead and didn't return when they found a trap. So, I had everyone else go a different way while I went to go get him myself. I just wanted to make sure he wasn't hurt. He was fine, but it was like they were waiting for us to come as there was a surprise attack as we were leaving. Of course, we made sure we weren't followed as we went back to them. As I said, there isn't much to say about the subject." He glanced at the food as the servants started to bring it out. His gaze flickered back to the King when he mentioned the berries. "You would be surprised at the little food I can survive on." He said with a slight chuckle. Honestly, he could go a few days with nothing in his stomach except water. He reached out and grabbed a glass of wine before bringing it to his lips and taking a drink. His gaze went back to the King, his brow raising when he said that Lorelei will be considered a guest. For some reason, he felt like there was something more behind those words than the King was letting onto. He glanced at Lorelei and she seemed to have the same thought. He could see annoyance flash in her eyes for a brief moment before it disappeared. Once Amara gestured for him to grab food first, he did so. He didn't grab much as he is never a big eater, unless it is morning. Breakfast is something he could eat for every meal. "That would be lovely." He said, referring to her comment about the mountains. He looked at Lorelei, seeing that she is grabbing more food than she usually does. His brow raised, wondering what she is up to. Before he could ask, she stood up. She bowed her head towards the King. "Excuse me. I'm not feeling a hundred percent. I'm going to head back to the room I was provided." She turned towards Amara, giving her a slight smile. "Perhaps another day, Amara." She grabbed the plate of food before excusing herself from the table and leaving the dining room. "Hmmm..." He hummed under his breath. ------- Lorelei furrowed her brows together as she mumbled nothings under her breath. For some reason, she didn't feel like she was welcomed while at the dinner table. She didn't understand why. It isn't like she was trying to barge in and prevent this marriage from happening. If anything, she wants it to happen with how happy her brother seems for the first time since her. She let a sigh out, a hand running through her hair as she balanced the plate of food in her other hand. "So annoying." She murmured under her breath as she made her way to Aro's room. Once she got there, she knocked on his door, completely forgetting that she is wearing different clothes from earlier. "It's Lorelei." She said before he could ask who it is.

Amara looked worried when Lorelei got up, but she knew exactly what her father meant. She looked at Sebastian, her eyes telling him she would explain later if he had wondered. She glanced to her father who was watching Lorelei closely as she left before he got himself a plate. "Nobody should have known about you being there. The fact someone did worries me that my daughter is being stalked" Kayleron say with very little emotion. He didnt even look at Amara when he said it, which caused Amara to clench her jaw as she carefully got her share after Sebastian. Amara cleared her throat before she spoke. "I could think of one person" she said as she didnt look at her father. "You know he wouldnt disobey my orders Amara" she heard her father say sternly. "So dont bring him up again." Amara felt his eyes on her, and she knew he was furious with her. "Sorry father, but it had to be said." She didnt look at him still as she started to slowly eat, hoping Sebastian wasnt getting uncomfortable with the way she and her father spoke. After a few bites Amara looked at Sebastian. "The mountains this time of year have some very interesting sights on them at night" she said, hoping to lighten the mood now. Her blue eyes watched him before she turned to get a few more bites. ~~~ Aro had finished drawing his mother before he passed out at his desk. He was snoring loud enough to be heard by the door, not knowing if Lorelei was actually coming back with dinner or not. Slowly he stirred hearing the knock and heard her mention who it was. Giving a sigh he rolled his eyes. "It's unlocked" he said.

If he could, Sebastian would be getting up and going after Lorelei to make sure she is okay. She hardly ever excuses herself from the table unless something bothers her or if she feels like she is unwelcome. Even though he wanted to go to her, he has a feeling that Amara's father wouldn't appreciate it. His body seemed to want to get up and run after, but he had to make a good impression. So, he stayed, but the worried look in his eyes didn't disappear as they flickered to the King when he started to speak again. He will have to check on her before he goes to the roof later to make sure she is doing okay. He opened his mouth to say something, but he didn't get to when Amara said something. She must be talking about this Haku person, the guard that came to them in the kitchen. He watched their interaction, surprised that her father brushed her off so easily on the subject. If anything, he would be willing to listen to her on who she thinks it might be. He might just have to have a talk with him later tonight after all, even if it might not end up being a good conversation between them. If it ends in a fight, then so be it. If he gets kicked out because of it, so be it. He barely seemed to touch his food, only taking a few bites here and there. Even though he is somewhat hungry, he doesn't have much of an appetite after Lorelei leaving and Amara's thought of Haku being the one behind the attack. "I am sure it is." After eating a bit more, he took his napkin and wiped his face off before standing up. "Thank you for the lovely dinner, my King. It is very nice to meet you and I hope you can forgive me for excusing myself from the table." ------ Once Lorelei heard Aro tell her the door is unlocked, she quickly opened the door and slammed it behind her. It was honestly an accident, even though she is very annoyed with what happened at dinner. She went over to the desk and set the plate of food on it. She grabbed a biscuit, her jaw tense and her eyes a bit cold as she stared at the door that she came in. If she were sitting down, her leg would be moving up and down at a rapid pace to show how uncomfortable and somewhat nervous she is. She wanted to throw something for some reason, but that would be very unladylike. Then again, she didn't care. Her gaze flickered to Aro, not yet noticing his drawing he did. "I feel horrible asking this, but honestly, it must be asked before my mind blows up into a million pieces or I throw something." She grumbled as she picked at the biscuit in her hand. "Is your father always so..." She couldn't think of the word that wouldn't be harsh. "Overbearing, jerk, asshole?" She asked, listing off names. "I didn't do anything wrong. It isn't like I insulted him or anything like that. Why is my presence such a bad thing in his castle?" Her eyes seemed to soften to where they turned slightly sad, her body relaxing slightly. "Am I really not welcomed anywhere?" She mumbled as she stared at the squished up biscuit in her hands.

Amara shook her head at her father when he seemed to not care that Sebastian and Lorelei were getting up to leave the table. "I will go with you" she said to Sebastian. She gave her father a glare when he said nothing and finished his plate. She motioned for Sebastian to head out a different door than the one they entered in and she sighed. "Sorry about that" she said. "He's never had the best manners. And all he thinks about is you and Lorelei being from a different kingdom." Amara let out a sigh. "Until he sees that neither of you are like the stories, he will unfortunately remain cold to both of you." Amara fiddled with her hair before she looked at Sebastian. "Do you want to check on Lorelei before I show you the mountains" she asked. She figured he might, but wanted to make sure before she lead him to the top of the castle. Her blue eyes watched him before she heard a few of the servants heading into the dining hall to clean up from dinner. Amara then stiffened up. "Is she going to Aro" she asked. "I hope she changed back into the clothes from earlier. He might not be so happy if he sees her in nicer clothes." Her voice has a slight hint of worry as she waited for Sebastian to reply to her. ~~~~ Aro narrowed his eyes seeing Lorelei in different clothes than earlier. He knew no servant would wear what she was. Before he would reply, he asked "Where did you get that outfit?" His voice was much colder than earlier. After a moment, he replied to her. "My father is just an ass. That's how he's been since my mother died. How she dealt with him, I will never know." He stood up, standing over her by a few inches. "The only reason he wouldn't allow you to be welcomed is if you were from the other kingdom." His eyes remained locked on her, his voice cold.

Seb stood up from his chair and bowed to the King. He glanced at Amara when she said that she is going to come with him. He furrowed his brows, wondering why she would come with him. This is her father after all and he doesn't want to put a wall between them in case the King thinks that he is trying to keep her away from him. That is really the last thing he wants. He still wants her to have a decent relationship with her father while she is with him. It might be difficult as it seems that her father doesn't like him in the slightest, yet the rumors that are pretty much true don't seem to help in his favor either. He gets if that is the case. He will just have to have a private conversation with the King and converse with him that the rumors are just kinda rumors and tell him the ones that are actually true. He bowed to the King once more before he followed after Amara. This time, they went through a different door than the one that they entered. He wonders why that is. Perhaps she is taking him behind scenes to avoid the main walkway to avoid curious gazes as to why they left the dining room well before dinner was over. Hell, they didn't even get to dessert before they ended up leaving. He only left in the first place because Lorelei was upset. He could tell she was, even if her body language didn't say so, because he knows her so well. Next time stuff is said to Lorelei that makes her upset, there is no way he is going to be holding his tongue. He shrugged his shoulders at her comment. "It's whatever." He said, easily brushing it off. It really isn't that much of a big deal. The only issue is Lorelei being hurt and he knows that it is going to last a bit before she's herself again. "If it continues, I will personally talk to him myself privately. I don't need the father of the woman I am marrying being cold towards me as well as hurting my sibling verbally." He mumbled, not sure where he is headed since he is just walking in a general direction. He didn't think it was a great idea to go see Lorelei at the moment. He would love to, but he knew that she needed her own space and will come to him when she wants to. Mountains sound good to him because it can get his mind away from what happened at dinner. Having some fresh air will clear his mind too, pushing the thoughts of wanting to throw something or hit something out the window. Before he could reply to her comment though, she asked him a question. His brows furrowed, wondering why she would ask if Lorelei went to Aro's room. Then, hearing that if she went in her nice close, hell probably was going to be paid. Dread filled him as he knew Lorelei said she was bringing him food afterward, so this wasn't good. "Where is his room?" ~~~~~~~~ Lorelei didn't think about changing her clothes before coming to Aro's room. She forgot that Amara told her that he wouldn't really talk to anyone that is a Royal, let alone let them in his room. Had she thought about what could happen and what could be said with her coming in like this, she would've changed before coming. Yet, she didn't think so she is going to have to face the consequences that could and probably would be happening. "Your father, obviously." She said with a wave of her hand, not really paying attention to his tone of voice and the thing she did wrong. "He could've picked just a shirt and pants, even though it is wrong for women to wear such things. My brother and you wear them, so why can't I?" She said as she looked up at him. She tilted her head, now noticing his tone of voice but not yet saying anything. Ah, so he has been like this even with his wife and seeming to be worse since his mother died. She looked up at him when she noticed how close he was to her. She doesn't understand why he is so close to her as she hasn't done anything to provoke him in the slightest. Before she can ask him what is going on, he answered her inner questions. Realization dawned on her that she is wearing the clothes that belong to a Princess, not a servant. She didn't show any sort of emotion or anything about the realization in the slightest. She is an expert at hiding her emotions from people and having them use them against her. She hummed as she moved her face closer to his face. "What are you going to do, Aro, hmm? Throw me out like the other Princesses? Hit me? Shove me out because you don't want me to see how you look? Or get close to you to see what you are truly hiding?" She asked with her head tilted. She didn't even budge nor was any fear seen in her eyes. She has dealt with a lot in her life and she is sure as hell not going to let him walk all over her just because she is actually a Princess. "You going to yell at me and hope that I run out of here crying? Are you going to call me a monster? I've been called worse. Let me tell you something." She said as she poked his chest. "None of that is going to work nor whatever else you have formed in your head." Her voice was just as cold, holding a hard and chilling edge to it. "Once again, what are you going to, Aro?"
