As soon as Alex told him what he wanted, Sky got to work. He went into the fridge and grabbed two eggs. He gently set them on the counter near the stove before moving to get a pan. "No it's fine, I can make eggs." Skylar said, glancing over his shoulder. He turned on the stove and put a little oil in the pan before turning around. "Want anything to drink or you still have some of ur pop left?" Skylar asked, again resting his elbows on the island. A small content smile formed on his mouth as he looked at Alex.

Alex looked at Skylar, watching as he got the pan and the eggs from the fridge. He caught himself smiling as he watched him begin preparing the pan for the eggs. And when he turned around to face him Alex was quick to look at him. Hearing his question he gave a nod. "I've still got my pop, so I'm good." He said with a small smile. Speaking of, he should probably go and get it from Skylar's room. He'd been so tired last night and then so worried when he'd woken up alone, that he'd left it on the floor by Skylar's bed. "I should probably go get it from your room actually." He said with a small smile and a soft laugh before he turned to do just that.

"Okay you do that." Sky responded and then turned around. He then cracked both of the eggs into the pan. The sound of sizzling filled the air. Skylar looked at the eggs for a moment before putting two pieces of bread into the toaster. He then grabbed a flipper and scrambled the eggs in the pan before they fully cooked. Once they were scrambled enough, he moved to grab a plate, along with a knife and fork. He then got the butter ready. His attention turned to the toaster when the two pieces of toast popped. He grabbed both and put them onto Alex's plate before buttering them. He then grabbed the salt and pepper and put them on the island. Turning towards the stove, he looked at the eggs and turned off the stove since they were done. He put the eggs onto the plate and then put the plate down on the island and sat down in the next seat.

Alex moved into Skylar's bedroom, his gaze quickly finding the bottle of soda he'd left and he moved over to pick it up. He let out a soft sigh and then turned to leave the bedroom and return to the kitchen. He reached it just as Skylar was finished scrambling the eggs and plated them. For a moment he stood at the entrance to the kitchen and watched him, taking in the sight of him as he finished cooking. After a moment he cleared the throat and moved to head over to him, his gaze on the single plate of food as he did so. "Thanks." He said after a moment. Setting his pop bottle down by the plate he let his gaze return to Skylar. "What about you?" He asked, his gaze following Skylar's movements as he sat down in the seat next to the one that he had left for him. After a moment of stillness, Alex slid into the seat, though his gaze continued to rest on Skylar.

Skylar shrugged in response. "Not hungry." Skylar replied after a moment. While it was true he wasn't really hungry, but he also didn't want to make anything for himself. It was too much work. Skylar looked down at the food he had made, not fully satisfied with his it turned out but it was still something. He looked back up for a moment before his gaze returned forward. He stared at the kitchen, looking at anything but Alex. (ah so short sorry)

Alex frowned slightly at the answer he was given but he decided against commenting on it, or on trying to convince Skylar to make himself something. Instead, he gave a slow and thoughtful nod and looked back at the plate of food that had been prepared for him. "Well... thanks again for breakfast." He said and offered him a small smile. He was still for a moment before he moved to grab one of the slices of toast. Leaning back in his seat with a soft sigh, and fighting the urge to look at Skylar he took a bite of the toast. The silence, he found was an odd mix of comfort and awkwardness, or at least it seemed that way to Alex. How Skylar felt about it, he wasn't sure. After several long moments, and after taking a few bites of his toast he finally let his eyes fall on Skylar, taking note of how he was looking at the kitchen. "So... um... is there anything you want to do today?" He asked after a moment of silence and once he had cleared his mouth of food.

Sky zoned out a bit as he stared at the stove, but was brought back by Alex's voice. "Hm, Im not sure." Sky began, really unsure if he wanted to do anything today. "You, don't have have to stay, if you don't want to." Sky then added, pausing frequently. Looking away again, he focused on the stove. He let a small smile rest on his face to assure Alex he was okay if he looked over at him. Leaning back in his seat, he stretched his arms out before resting his hands in his lap. The silence was a bit awkward but Sky didnt mind it.

Alex was silent as he waited for Skylar to answer him, and when he did get a response he gave a slight nod and turned to look down at his plate. Setting his half-eaten toast down he moved then to take a bite of the eggs. He paused just before he put the egg-filled spoon in his mouth when he heard Skylar suggest that he didn't have to stay. His gaze turned to him and he furrowed his brow. "And miss spending a day with you?" He questioned before he shook his head. "No... I'd like to stay... unless of course you'd rather I leave..." He said, the last few words of his voice holding a hint of hesitation and apprehension, as if he was worried that Skylar would prefer solitude over hanging out with him. If he did say that he wanted to be alone today, as much as Alex would have hated it, he would go with whatever it was Skylar wanted without complaint.

Returning his attention back to Alex, Skylar's brows furrowed slightly. "That's not what I meant. Just from yesterday, I don't know if you necessarily want to stay." Sky replied honestly. He, himself was unsure if he wanted Alex to stay. Yeah, he loves spending time with Alex but he didn't know if he had it in him. He had to try for Alex, so he became content with the idea of doing something with Alex today.

Setting his spoon back down on the plate, Alex looked at Skylar and then listened as he spoke. He raised a brow before giving a shake of his head. "Of course, I want to stay." True yesterday had been rough, but that didn't mean he wanted to get away and spend his day at home, or surrounded by people who didn't know who he truly was. "We don't have to do anything if you don't want to. I wouldn't mind taking it easy today and staying in... or... something." He explained as he watched him. He meant it too, they didn't have to go out anywhere or do anything that cost money or meant being surrounded by people. Falling silent he let out a soft sigh and turned his gaze from Skyler to his plate. It was then that he took a bite of the scrambled eggs that Sky had made for him.
