He found himself beginning to spiral, maybe he needed Alex. No! You can't depend on him! His thoughts fought with each other, and his recent attempt at deep breathing failed since he was close to hyperventilating now. What was he even upset about? He doesn't even know that nothing that happened within the span 5 minutes should have made him act this way, so why? Skylar found himself going to the drawer where he always kept his stash. His brain clearly wasn't working because he didn't have anything, so he wasn't going to find anything. After looking, it only made him more irritated, causing him to slam the drawer. "FUCK!" Sky yelled out of frustration, not worried even the slightest if Alex or his mom heard him. Sky turned around and began pacing, biting at the skin on his fingers of one hand as the other balled into a fist. Alex, please walk through that door.

Alex was still in the middle of contemplating what he should do when he heard the sound of a drawer being slammed and Skylar yelling. Without a second of hesitation, whatever uncertainties he'd had, he found himself swiftly moving to leave the kitchen, abandoning the bag of snacks and drinks he and Skylar had gotten as he did so. Hastily he moved through the house and towards the door to Skylar's room, and it was only when he reached it that he slowed to a stop. Halting before he could shove the door open and hurry inside to make sure Skylar was okay. What the hell are you doing? He needs you. It shouldn't have mattered whether or not Skylar would look at him with irritation or snap at him again. Something was going on with him, and regardless of whether or not Sky would tell him, Alex wanted to be there for him. So, drawing in a breath he moved to push the door open. "Sky? Are you okay?" He asked, cringing at how his voice sounded meek. Once inside the room, it didn't take him long to spot Skylar pacing in the middle of it and biting at the skin of his fingers on one hand.

Sky was a bit surprised when he heard his door squeak open over his raging mind. "Alex." Sky said, almost inaudibly. Slowly and hesitantly, he made his way over to him, dropping his hand and relaxing his fist. Once he was in front of him, he stopped in his tracks and let out a shaky breath before crumbling into him. Sky could feel the tears forming, but he forced them away as he steadied, holding himself up by wrapping his arms around his neck. "You did nothing wrong." Sky spoke into his chest quietly. Sky breathed in Alex's scent deeply to try and comfort himself further. "I ruined everything." Sky then said, even quieter, afraid of the words that were coming out of his mouth. Before getting too emotional, Sky pulled away, his hands threatening to ball up again. Immediately, he looked away, he didn't know if he could face Alex or not.

Seeing Skylar in this state was as alarming as it was concerning. He felt his chest tighten with worry and took a step into the room and towards him. He came to a stop in his approach though when Skylar said his name and then made his way to him. The moment he all but fell into him Alex was wrapping his arms around him, holding him tightly and protectively, as if his embrace could somehow chase away whatever it was that was troubling Skylar. When he heard him speak he found himself shaking his head. "You didn't." He promised. And he meant it. Nothing had been ruined, save for the mood but if it meant that he could be here to help Skylar then that hardly mattered. When Skylar pulled away from him Alex reluctantly let him go, his gaze taking in everything about him as he did so. Not wanting to let him push him out again, not without a fight he instead moved to grab the hand that he had been biting at moments before. Clasping it in both hands he stepped towards him. "Hey. Talk to me... please? Tell me anything... everything. I want to be here for you Skylar. I want to be someone you can talk to about anything, especially when it comes to things that are bothering or upsetting you... I want to help." He said softly, his voice earnest and his genuine honesty clear.

Skylar nearly tried to rip his hand out of Alex's grasp, and he managed to, shaking his head the entire time. After a couple of seconds, Skylar found himself slowly moving his hand back to Alex's, silently letting him know it was okay now. He still shook his head and closed his eyes as Alex spoke. "No, no. Just stop." Skylar spoke over Alex, but did not snap. "I cant." Sky said as he opened his eyes, pulling his hand away again. He couldn't tell if his talking to Alex was helping or not, but at least he wasn't yelling or harming himself or anything around him. Sky groaned and turned around. He let out a frustrated "fuck" as he ran his hands through his messy hair. What in the bipolar is wrong with me. Sky didn't know what to do... He couldn't tell if he wanted to destroy everything or just melt into Alex's arms. He hated himself for it, and he needed to get his shit under control because he imagined it being quite embarrassing.

Alex nearly flinched when Skylar ripped his hand away. He didn't try to reach for him though. He wasn't sure what was going but he had a feeling that trying to touch him or doing anything might make things worse. So, he let his hands return to his sides and listened to him, watched him, and wished that there was something that he could do. "Okay..." Alex said softly, his gaze never once leaving Skylar. "I won't ask you to share your thoughts... or tell me what's going on..." He said after a moment of silent consideration. "But please, at least tell me how I can help?" He requested, his voice trembling with emotions he wasn't sure he wanted to deal with or express as he watched Skylar. "If you need me to leave... or to get you something to drink... or to simply sit with you..." He added quietly.

When Sky heard the word "leave" come out of Alex's mouth he immediately turned around. He grabbed both sides of Alex's jaw and pulled him into a kiss. He melted into the kiss and pulled away slowly. "Dont leave." Sky said quietly. He had a feeling he was probably confusing the hell out of Alex, but he didn't know what was going on in his own mind half of the time. Sky pressed his forehead against Alex's and held it there as his hands snaked around his neck. He only kept his gaze on Alex's for a moment before slowly shutting his eyes. He put his finger in Alex's hair and softly played with his hair. "Can we just do everything tomorrow? I don't feel like it anymore." Sky spoke quietly, hating to admit how he felt.

To say that this whirlwind of changing emotions was confusing the hell out of Alex would be an understatement. It felt like he was getting whiplash for how quickly things were changing, going one direction and then flipping around and going the completely opposite way. One minute Sky didn't want him touching him, the next he was reaching out for him. One second he had his back turned to him, and the next he was kissing him. Though confused, Alex didn't pull away. He wanted to give Skylar whatever he needed, and if a kiss was it then he had no intention of denying him it. "Okay." He said softly after hearing Skylar's request for him not to leave. Lifting a hand he rested it on Sky's forearm and leaned into his touch ever so slightly. When their foreheads were pressed together he looked up at Skylar, studying him for a long moment before he let his own eyes close. He felt as he began playing with his hair and then listened to his request before giving a slight nod. "Of course we can. The movie isn't going anywhere." He said softly.

Still recovering from the whirlwind of emotions that trashed Sky's brain, his breath was still quite heavy. He began to catch his breath now that he's calmed down a bit. The kiss seemed to do it for him, but he still needed to find other ways that would help because Alex can't always be there for him. After Alex finished talking, Sky slowly brought his lips back to Alex's, closing his eyes and letting everything go. This time he kissed him much deeper, and immediately craved more once he began. He didn't stop, pushing Alex against his door to close it. He didn't plan on this going anywhere further, so he kept the makeout sesh slow and intimate.

Though the storm of emotions that had been shown had Alex's head spinning, he could only imagine how it was for Skylar. After all, he was the one fully experiencing everything. How much more confusing and upsetting was it for him? Alex didn't move from where he stood, didn't attempt to pull away. There wasn't a reason to, nor did he want to. He wanted to remain close to Skylar and wanted to be there for him. When Skylar brought his lips back to his, Alex smiled faintly and kissed him back. Letting his hand fall from Skylar's arm he let it come to rest on his side. He didn't resist as he was pushed back and against the door, the weight of his body being pressed against it closing it and sealing them in the solitude of the room. Tilting his head up ever so slightly he leaned up into the kiss a little more and let his eyes fall closed as he continued to kiss Skylar.
