Delta glanced over at Emery as she tried to be a little more helpful with her statement, he wanted to believe her when she said that they would all get through it but, he wasn't sure about it until they were all back together. "Let us hope..." The black wolf said as he curled up and laid his head on his tail as he stared at the front door, thinking about if they could still trust the marines around them due to the damage one of them caused. He kept his eye on the door waiting to hear a guard come and knock and give them news on the others. 15 minutes passed before the head guard came and knocked on the door, he had wanted to give them some time to themselves to calm down from the whole event. Once he heard Delta's voice telling him to come in, he stepped in and noticed Delta and Emery sitting not too far from the door, Liri must have been in her room since she wasn't out with them. "I have news about Sombra, Wyatt, and Emerald, good and bad," He said in a slightly worried tone. Edited at December 23, 2021 03:43 PM by Moonwing

Emery sighed, settling in to watch the door with him. Listening intently for footsteps that might approach. Hopeful to catch any scent of their missing packmates. Her worry only growing as the minutes slipped by. When someone finally approached and knocked, her head popped up. Watching as the guard soon stepped inside and spoke. Her ears drooping slightly at his words. All thoughts were abandoned as soon as knock sounded and soon after she heard a slightly muffled voice. Liri got to her paws as quickly as her form allowed, nearly slipping in the process, and gingerly limped out. Hoping for news of the others or even them being brought back. She didn't like not knowing how they were or if they were safe. "Whay's going on?" She asked quietly as she stepped out of her room to join the others, spotting the head guard.

When the head guard walked in and announced that he had news about their injured packmates, Delta quickly turned his attention to him and stood up from his sitting position. "I don't care which news you start with, we just want to know if Sombra, Emerald, and Wyatt will be ok" he spoke in a stern but slightly worried tone. He heard Liri coming out of her room and asking what was going on but he only acknowledged him with the flick of his ear, as he was waiting for the guard to continue speaking now that they were all here. Once Liri had walked into the common area to join Emery and Delta, the head guard decided to relay the information he had gotten from the medics that were caring for the other half of the wolf soldiers to the ones in front of him. "I have news about the others" He answered Liri before clearing his throat. "To start off all of them will recover from their injuries, but Emerald and Wyatt's injuries might take a few weeks. I know you guys heal a little quicker than normal but we're unsure of how long for these injuries." The guard said with a sigh. "Wyatt has a serious concussion and had a piece of debris stuck in his side, he had to be put under anesthesia to have it removed and stitch up the wound. Emerald also had to be put under because of her broken leg and burns, she also has some fractures in her bones. Her leg was put in a cast and her burns were covered with bandages. Sombra had to be put under since the bullet had to be taken out, the medic who I was talking with told me that he could have been paralyzed if the bullet had gone 1 inch more and hit his spine. Once all of them are awake enough from the anesthesia they'll be brought back to their beds to rest" The guard finished explaining everything he was told.

Liri listened with growing worry as the condition of their pack mates were explained, having to remind herself that they were all going to recover even if it would take a bit of time. Sombra wasn't paralyzed and the other two were alive. However, they were still in a vulnerable state, she realized. What happened when the marines saw them the first time was well... it was still hard to focus with the ringing in her ears. What if the marines reacted aggressively again. "Are they safe?" She spoke up quietly, unease clear in her voice as she fixed her gaze on the head guard. Her eyes a bit darker than they should be after blasted while out of control. Emery was simply so relieved to hear that they would make it through despite their injuries, that Liri's quiet question caught her off guard. Taking a moment to catch on to what she meant. She turned her head back from her friend to the guard. "That's a good question. Can we go see them, or something? How much longer until they are awake enough?" She asked rapidly and got to her paws, too restless to stay still.

Lira's question seemed to catch the guard by surprise, but he quickly answered her as she understood her concern for her friends. "Yes. I can assure you that they are safe. I have guards outside the medical building and well, the medics don't allow anyone in when in the middle of treating patients He said hoping to reassure the three, then looked at Emery and answered her question. "Most likely about 10 minutes, Sombra's taking a little long to come out of it but he's alert so thats a good sign. By that I mean his ears and nose are twitching when someone touches them."
"They better be. Or else I won't hesitate to attack to bite someone here." Delta said with a slight growl after Liri's question had been answered. He noticed that Liri's eyes were slightly dark, so he didn't say anything about wanting to leave and check up on their packmates, knowing that Liri might lose control if any more marines were to infuriate them. "Just return them safely." Delta said as he turned his back to the door and sat down as the head guard nodded and left.

The answer brought some comfort, but she would have felt better had they all simply been together and able to watch over the wounded. But she did recognize the risk of going out there. With herself atleast. Crowds were already overwhelming. She watched with mild frustration as the head guard left, ten minutes was going to feel long. To distract herself, and a fretting Emery, she decided to spend some time making sure the rooms were ready for those not currently here. Emery looked over at Liri when she suggested getting things ready for the others and nodded a little. Darting to her own room to shift and get dressed before going to help. Not realizing in the moment that the usually very independent wolf was actually letting her help her for once. It was another eternity before someone approached and knocked on the door, attracting the attention from everyone inside. "You have a visitor. The doctor is stopping by in a moment" came the familiar voice of a guard. The lead scientist. He had gotten here surprisingly fast.

Delta poked his head out of Wyatt's room when he heard someone knocking on the door and coming inside, informing the three who had been preparing their friend's rooms that the doctor or lead scientist from the lab was here. "Ok, thank you." Delta said as he walked out of the room, he had also shifted back to normal to work prepare the rooms more effeciantly. He ended up taking Wyatt's room while Liri did Sombra's and Emery did Emerald's just to keep themselves busy to pass time. Not a moment after Delta had arrived in the living room after informing Liri and Emery about the arrival of the lead scientist, when said scientist walked through the door with other guards fowllowing him inside. The guards had finally brought with them their injured friends, who were quickly but carefully brought into their rooms and laid on their beds to rest.
After the guards had left the scientist was finally left alone with the wolf soldiers, he looked over at Delta, Liri, and Emery and let out a sigh. "I didn't think I'd be seeing you all so soon, and for such an emergency" He started to say as he thought about the call he got an hour ago from Sargent Hannes about the injured wolf soldeirs. "I rushed here to make sure that Sombra, Wyatt, and Emerald got the proper care their bodies needed." The lead scientist then sat down on the nearest chair, "Please don't tell me that anymore of you have serious injuries"

Liri had shifted at some point, with the price of a moment of intense pain, but it was better than having to move around putting weight on her shoulders constantly. Plus she could only do some much while in her wolf form. Any action with her arms or shoulder that pulled the muscels and skin around her shoulder blades were still taxing, but she could walk without too much issue. She was just finishing up straightening the blankets on Sombra's bed, Emery having come in about a minute or so back to help, when she heard a knock on the door. Moments later Delta informed them of a arrival. She gingerly moved him and Emery out to the living area, focus immediately switching to the figures coming through door. Most specifically their pack members. It was kind of nice to see the scientist, their pack members coming right after him made it even better. More like a relief. Emery supervised closely as they were taken to their beds and soon everyone was settled in safely and the guards left. "No, nothing life threatening as far as I know" Emery answered, glancing to Delta and Liri. Glad that this was true as far as she was aware. Delta hadn't reported anything and Liri only seemed to be a bit dizzy sometimes and had the graze across her shoulders which still needed to be checked out. "Thank you for coming and taking of them" she added quietly to be polite.

Delta shook his head when the lead scientist asked if there were anymore life threatning injuries, he knew Liri needed to be tended to but nothing that looked life threatning if she was standing and walking. Emery didn't look to have any injuries and he only had some small cuts and a sore body from being knocked now by the force of the explosing and cut from the debris.
"I am just very fortunate that I was close enough to the base to get here quickly to make sure they were tended to properly. I am glad that there aren't anymore life threatning injuries" The lead scientist said rubbed his forehead with his hand, stressed beyond belief about this situation. Observing the wolf soldiers the scientist noticed that Liri looked like she needed some attention, "Liri do you need me to help tend to your injuries? or would you just like me to give you some supplies and let Delta or Emery help you?" He asked, not wanting whatever injuries she had to get worse and end up bed ridden like the other three.

Liri hesitated for just a moment. "Want me to help?" She looked at Emery and gave a slight not. "Yeah, I think I'll let Emery help" she answered, inhaling slightly to clear her mind. She was tired. Emery was more familiar to her than the scientist. The nature of the gash made it impractical to try stitching it up anyways, so it wouldn't need much skill. And with the placement she would just feel more comfortable if it was Emery to tend to it. However, her injury was really the least of her worries. Emery was glad Liri accepted her offered help. "I think I'll just need something to clean with, salve and some bandages I think" she said, looking back at the scientist. Something to focus on was good. Luckily from what she had seen the gash was only needed some blood cleared away, salve and a cover to keep infection away.
