Jason also knew the hero fighting against him had the obvious advantage. They could see while he couldn't. The answer? Take away the ability to see. Jason lunged out from behind the table and slammed his hand on the light switch. His power sucked up all the energy, darkening the room. There was no possible way to turn it back on.

Jason ducked into a room, as fast as he could, so he wasn't in the open.

She listened intently and heard his footsteps and followed them. Her powers still on though she was running low and they'd turn off soon. God it's dark was her first thought as she approached the door where the villain had ran to. Holding her pistol in front of her, she slowly walked in.

Jason knew he wouldn't have any chance with long ranged combat. He was at her serious disadvantage there. Hopefully, though, by leveling out the playing fields by making it dark and then going into the room with no windows, his plan would work.

It seemed the heroes main power was invisibility, but that still meant that things would move if they touched them. That's how they were using the gun. So, with the few seconds bought, Jason put his overcoat on the floor. The chains felt painfully loud to him, but there was nothing else.

As he waited, Jason adjusted the black mask that ran over the bridge of his nose and under his chin. Simple, but it worked.

Then, his plan worked. He was able to see, barely, but definitely there, the slight indent of a foot.

The first thing he did was let loose an explosion borrowed from the other villain. That would knock the gun they were most likely holding out of their hands, and loosen their guard. From there Jason lunged out, and felt a connection with a body. Not being able to see the person didn't hinder his ability to find their hands and hold them tight, pushing the person against a wall. His legs also pressed against theirs, keeping them from being able to kick. Based on the size of the person, Jason would assume they specialized in long range stealth. Not strength and close combat.

His breath was warm as he spoke, husky and deep, "You are done for. Release your invisibility and I'll only tie you up while you wait for the backup you most likely called."

His plan had worked perfectly, the gun flew out of her hand and as she reached for the bigger one on her back he slammed into her. She reached for her many knives but he was there first. Pinning her against the wall with ease. She was absolutely not a match for him at this point. Her size difference made it impossible for her to gain any advantage and so now she was stuck. Thankfully, her mask had stayed on so unless he decided to take it off he wouldn't know who she was out of costume. Shaking with adrenaline, her heartbeat pounding in her ears. What he had offered was so against who she was. That was what her power was for. To keep her hidden. Finally, she allowed her powers to turn off. Her green eyes looking up at the villain fiercely. Despite the fact that she was going nowhere, she wouldn't act scared. She was not scared.

Jason picked his jacket up off the ground and put it back on, and as he turned around, there was a small twinkle in his eyes that showed he was smiling, "Well. You had be worried there. You can wait here for your backup while I leave. You might even figure out a way out of those ropes before they get here. But I'll be gone." The darkness had hid most of him, but now he let the energy flicker back. No use in stealing the energy now. It would be helpful in case he came back here.

Since I don't have anything else to do and I don't think you do either(?) Should we just skip to them meeting out of uniform? And where should they meet? The gym or something?

The guy strode out the door of the room, but paused, "Names Recrimination. Nice to meet you, Silent Shadow." Then, he was gone.

Yeah - gym sounds good, either that or coffee shop. You decide

It had been a full three days since the mess up. Addilyn had been found sitting in the middle of the floor with the ropes laying in a heap in the corner. When asked she just said that she got out of them to late to go run after him and that there wouldn't be much of a point. They kept her failure under wraps, like they always did when the villains beat the heroes. The only normal person who knew was Lewis. Who had tried to comfort her and it hadn't worked. They'd given her a 'recovery break' which basically meant they didn't think she should go out on the field for awhile. 2 weeks of sitting around doing nothing. So after storming out on Lewis who'd suggested maybe she should try for a different job, she went to the gym. Going to the locker room, she quickly changed into black leggings and an orange tank top that didn't have much of a back. Her black hair pulled up in a ponytail. She left the locker room and set her sights on the punching bags. Her hands were already wrapped so it wouldn't split her knuckles. Now it was time to let all her extra energy out onto the bag.

The conclusion Jason came to was that he had to become faster. He had to be able to move fast enough so she couldn't get a hit, and he had to be able to overwhelm her easily in close quarters, even if he was hurt.
