Sombra placed his hand on Liri's when he saw her gripping her knife at the sound of the knock and voice, in an attempt to show her that everything was safe for the time being. Though his unsure feelings were starting to grow, espcially after hearing that the Sargent needed them imediatly, and from the sounds of the usually quiet base becoming a little loud and busy.

Liri let go of the knife, nerves easing, though she ofcourse remained worried. Uneasy about what was happening. She stood and moved along with the others to the door to see what was going on and what they were needed for. Outside marines rushed about, preparing humvees and gear for something.

"What's going on?" Emery said softly, looking around warily at the organized chaos that was happening outside. What did they have to do with this? She waited for the others to take the lead.

(Sorry this is kind of short.)

Sargent Hannes looked up from a tablet he was holding when he heard Emery speak, he nodded to someone he was speaking to before turning his attention to the wolf soldiers. "It seems that time has come to prove your use on the battlefield." He said sternly, contiuing to speak and ignoring the shocked expressions he got. "A few mintues ago one of our patrols caught the enemy trying to sneak into this forest. Thankfully they spotted them and ran them towards an abandoned town, only problem with that is, it gives the enemy the advantage of surprise shots." Hannes said as he put the tablet down and crossed his arms.

"Shots have been fired and there are some injuries, the last thing we heard is that the surprise shots have stopped. So we don't know if the enemy has left the area to leave or try to get into the forest again, or are still hiding and are just waiting for backup." Sargent Hannes looked at Delta, "This is where you and your friends come in. You six will go on ahead and either drive out the enemy or come and report back to tell us that they're gone and not in the forest. We will be heading out soon but not everything is ready, plus you all are about as fast as some of our veichles. So leave the camp, shift, and do as I have ordered. You are dismissed" He said before turning away to go shout at the marines to hurry up.

Delta was silent as he had to take a moment to take the infomation that was just dumped on them settle in. They'd fianally called out for their first field mission, some of them most of them wanted and didn't want at the same time. They would be running into a dangerous area, which they all knew very well would happen at some point, but this wasn't going to be training. Any of them could get shot or injured, the thought man him shake his head. "Guys. Your feelings on this?" Delta said, breaking the silence that had settled when Sargent Hannes walked off.

"..our first real mission...huh..." Emerald said in a quiet tone. She knew what she was getting into when she signed the contract all those months ago. That still didn't prepare her for how she was feeling right now, she wasn't going to lie to herself, she was scared. But this was their job and there were injured people who could use their help right about now, Emerlad just couldn't think of herself. "..As long as were all together, everything should be fine" She said in an attmept to be optimistic.

It was alot to take it. The situation was to be expected, but it was spring on them rather suddenly. No time to prepare or anything. Liri took a deep breath, processing everything before glancing over at Delta when he spoke and then Emerald. She couldn't help worry about the group, an actual mission was by far different from training. And also posed a real threat to their lives. But they had all practically signed over their lives for this.

Wyatt glanced around at the others. "There might not nothing for us to there, guys. If there is they'll surely be terrified" he stated with a grin, attempting to cheer the others up along with Emerald being optimistic. He knew this could be dangerous, but someone had to keep the mood light.

Emery was a little frightened, despite all the training it was still scary to be told to go put on mission. "Well, it's not like we really have a choice though" she said quietly, trying to keep her nerves in control.

Emery managed a small smile and hugged her friend back, relaxing a little. They'd all be safe together. She looked over when Delta spoke, nodding slightly to what he said.

Emery, Wyatt and Liri all started to follow after Delta along with the others. Busy marines taking a moment to glance at them in confusion as the group stepped off base and trailed into the forest. They all started to shift once in the safety of the forest. Liri shook the nerves off and stretched, scanning the world around them before looking to Delta to take the lead. It had become natural to see him as their alpha of sorts and wait for him to act first and give orders.

Wyatt set off with Emery and Emerald, letting them do the tracking while he kept guard, making sure no one could try and sneak up on them. For once completely serious and focused on his task.

Liri tracked alongside Sombra, ignoring the urge to go off exploring in favor of the job she needed to do. Eventually it became clear the enemy had all taken off, only a slightly faded scent left behind by them and there was no strong scents being blown in by the soft breeze. They weren't coming back for now. Once this was determined the three gathered up to go find the others, the marines should still be around here and maybe the other three had better luck with their task. As they neared, almost regrouping the pack, a shot rang out. Liri flinched, a yelp escaping, when some burned across her back just above her shoulder and struck something beside her. It took her barely two seconds to realize it was Sombra and for her sights to immediately to set on the offender. A certain trigger happy marine: Richie. Who looked rather distressed, a fact that did not matter to her in that moment. Her eyes had gone dark. With a swift motion, she launched herself forwards and snarled. Every bit of her focused on reaching the one that hurt both her and Sombra.
