"Yay." Sky said as he slowly walked out the door. "Be safe you too." Irene called out. "We will." Sky shouted back as he waited for Rome to close the door. He then walked Rome about halfway. "I'll see you tomorrow handsome." Sky then said as he went in for a kiss before embracing him. He breathed him in before letting go. He then smiled at Rome once more before turning around, he then walked home. |

Rome held Sky tightly during their embrace. He didn't want to leave Sky behind but he had to this time. Rome watched Sky walk away for a couple of minutes until he had to strain his eyes to see the boy. With a deep exhale he spun around and continued his walk home. Rome popped in his headphones when he arrived home and went straight to his room. He hadn't seen or heard from his family yet. The temporary peace and stillness of the house was enough for him. |

As Skylar arrived home he went straight to his room, going to sleep. He woke the next day to his alarm for school. He groaned not wanting to get up, but he had to. He slowly got up before getting ready. He ate food and then was out the door. He put his earbuds in and arrived to his first class before anyone else, the class with Rome and his friends. He prepared himself for the worse, not knowing how Rome would treat him. |

Rome awoke to the cries of his siblings. It must be time to get up. Romes body felt relaxed but slightly stiff in his upper body area. Rome patiently waited for his turn in the bathroom getting ready for school. The usual routine of trying not to disappoint his Father, provide for his mother, and love his siblings took place before Rome could leave the house. Rome reached for the door handle to leave the house before his father questioned where he had been for a few days, and with whom. Rome lied of course and said with his school friends and Ivory. Romes father shook his head in disappointment followed with a lecture before Rome could leave for school. Rome arrived to the school debating if he should skip his first class or just wing it. He popped in his headphones before Ivory, his situationship came over to him. " Hey Baby~ " she started. Rome winced, " I am not your baby " he thought sourly. But she already knew that so he didn't bother to verbalize it. " Mornin' Ivory " he replied dryly. He added in a smirk so he wouldn't piss her off this early. Everything Ivory said went through one ear and out the other. He had no interest in hearing her yap right now, not yet. " Anyways that happened.. but oh my gosh I love your hair. It looks so sexy like that. But I prefer blonde. It's soo fetch! ( mean girls reference <3 )" she beamed. Rome blinked for a minute before responding. " Thank you, and that's more reason for it not to be blonde " he teased. Ivory giggled ( i hate the word g i g g l e ). She put both of her hands on the strap of her purse stopping in front of Rome. Did she ever wear a bookbag? Rome slid his hands to hold onto the straps of his bookbag subconsciously. " I toatally like, miss *us* y'know? " she said. Rome raised an eyebrow and flashed a grin. " That's crazy. You broke up with me " Rome countered. Ivory looked him up and down before continuing to walk. She yapped a bit more before her and Rome entered their first period class room. " That's so silly, I could never break up with you. You're too hot " she smirked looking up at Rome. Rome looked down at her, her eyes met his and surely she kissed him. Rome closed his eyes and froze up for a minute. By the time Ivory pulled back Rome had no words. Ivory winked at him and pranced to her seat where her friend group sat. " Dior lip gloss.. " he thought to himself. Her kiss was so sweet. |

Skylar anxiously kept shaking his leg as he waited for Rome to walk through those doors. He kept glancing at the doorway as minutes went by. When he finally saw Rome, anger started to boil inside him. Why is he with her? Sky asked himself many questions as he watched her every move. Sky watched as Ivory kissed him, and he did nothing about it, he let it happen. Skylar didn't even think, he grabbed his backpack and was out the door. He plugged his earbuds in franticly and turned his music up all the way. He made it out the school's doors in a hurry, he didn't want to be in that classroom for another second. He sat outside against one of the many brick walls of the school. He pulled up his best friend's number and texted him. "Wanna come over today, I miss you lots." He closed his phone and just looked around as he thought about what happened. "He could have pushed her away or something, he should have done something! Just because he's too pussy to fuck up his rep doesn't mean he should be kissing other people, under ANY circumstance!" Sky was furious, he knew something like this was going to happen, and it wasn't something under his control. It was Rome's and only his. Skylar leaned his head back and looked up as he blinked rapidly. He didn't want to waste another tear over this stupid boy. Not stupid boy, Rome, just Rome. |

Rome stood still as he watched Sky dash out of the room. " A problem for later.. " he thought gloomily. Rome yawned before taking a seat. As he approached the tables Ivory winked and patted a seat next to her for him to sit in. Without much thought he complied. During the whole class she'd flirt with Rome. The teen would lightly flirt back and Ivory's friends would instigate and encourage her. Time went by rather quickly and before he knew it, it was time for his next class period. Rome went along with whatever was going on, he wasn't in the mood for anything honestly. Rome walked Ivory to her class and in return she reached up wrapping her arms around his neck followed by another kiss. " You gotta stop doing this.. " he tried. Ivoy didn't let go of his neck. Rome closed his eyes for a seond wrapping his arms around her waist. The two teens nose touched and Rome began to feel guilty. " You're not seeing anybody better than me " she whispered. Rome locked eyes with Ivory. Being this close made him slightly uncomfortable but his body misses it. " But I am. And who it is doesn't concern you.He- She's the opposite of you. And she's sweet, patient, and loving. And understanding.. You're none of those things. You and I do this for attention and you know it " he breathed, noses still touching. Ivory blinked softly looking down to Romes lips back to his eyes. " I really do love you Rome.. I miss you and your family. Hell, my family misses you. I'll just have to prove my love. I'll find that slut, and i'll tell her you're mine ". Rome didn't respond. He let go of Ivorys waist with a sighed. |

Skylar walked just across the street from the school to have a smoke, followed by a joint. He smoked both of them and walked back to the school. Although he didn't want to see Rome, he still had to go to class. He popped into his second class and went straight to his seat. He did sit beside Rome so he would have to just ignore him (Im pretty sure they have this class together too) Skylar slouched as he put his head down. He wasn't going to pay any attention to him or the teacher in this class, he just wanted to go home.
"Hey, I can come over whenever just let me know." Bill texted. "start driving <3" Skylar texted him back smiling. He then looked up, glancing at everyone for a quick second. |

Rome spread his legs comfortably, poking Skys ankle with the tip of his shoe. He stole a glance at Sky with a frown. Was he upset? It wasn't his fault. It was Ivorys. Maybe he could have shoved her or told her off. But that didn't happen. " I froze like a dumby " he murmured shaking his head. ( I do' NOT remember what class this is, but I do know they have it together ). Rome pulled out clothing sheets from his bag and began stitching and sewing. He paused for a minute staring at the needle inbetween his fingers. The sharp edge gleamed, invitingly. Lost in thought, Rome shook his head and continued to sew, tuck, and weave. He thought about his walk to Ivorys class. Wonderinf if he handled it well, or possibly made it worse. |

Skylar saw Rome in his peripheral vision but made no effort to actually look his way. Most of the class has gone by and he got another text from Bill. "Im here at the front." Skylar smiled to himself slightly. He quickly got up, grabbed his bag and walked out the door. If the teacher spoke to him, he didn't hear it nor did he care to hear it. He made his way to the front of the school and saw Bill. He walked out the door and gave him a hug. "Hey let's eat her for a bit before we go, im just really hungry." Sky said as he started walking to one of the tables. He then pulled out his sandwich and began to eat it. |

Rome watched Sky leave. He felt the irritation of Sky radiate onto him. With a shiver Rome brushed it off and continued to do his work. The guilt began to consume Rome slowly, tearing away at his conscience of what he should have done. After a little while class passed by and he could still taste Ivory's Dior lip gloss. Yes it was sweet and he missed the taste, but it didn't feel right to him anymore. At this point it was time for a smoke break. Too many thoughts and emotions far too early. With the teachers permission Rome took his bag and made his way outside to smoke. When he opened the door he closed his eyes hitting a blinker before taking in his surroundings at all. " Ahh.. that's what i'm talking about " he exhaled, relieved. |
