She snorted internally. You kept me up all night! she thought to herself, but didn't speak it aloud. Instead, she just shrugged. "Aside from that little daytime stroll you went on, it was alright," she replied, yawning. "Come on, I want to show you the meadow." She started padding away, not stopping to see if he was following.
It might not be a good idea showing him the meadow this early, but if I'm going to have to be mates with him, he may as well get to know me. She glanced back at him as her thoughts wandered, wondering if he'd even TRY to actually get to know her. If he didn't this was going to be an aweful arrangement. She sighed, shaking herself as they reached the meadow. It was hidden away behin the thickest parts of the forest, and was quite peaceful. There was a small pond in the center, with a few flat rocks at one end where the sun hit and warmed the rocks. The clearing was littered with flowers, and the grass somehow seemed softer, though that was probably just an illusion from how peaceful and calm it made wolves. Star padded over to the rocks, laying down with enough room for him to join if he wanted. She didn't ask him to join her, but she left the space for him. He couldn't tell if it was a test or not.
