The next morning, Anwaraidd was up early as usual. He decided that Crystal had slept long enough an stepped into her den. "Wake up," he snarled, shoving her with one paw. "It's time to get to work." Anwaraidd retreated from the den. If she wasn't out soon, he'd go in again, and it would be much less pleasant for her. Seeing other wolves begin to wake up, Anwaraidd quickly went about organizing the morning patrols. One wolf had been just a little too slow to obey his commands yesterday, so he sent them off alone with the task to either return with a good kill or to return with something unsatisfactory or be punished. Once the patrols were out, Anwaraidd stepped out by himself to do a little hunting of his own. He caught three fat rabbits fairly quickly, then returned to the camp and set the prey down in the center. He wasn't too hungry, so he left the prey there and began walking around camp to make sure things were running smoothly.

Crystal woke up. She sighed. She missed being able to sleep in late. She forced himself to stand up, she then ducked out of the den. She sighed as she trotted over to her duties. She wasn't planning on eating yet. After a few hours she finished her duties before walking to the edge of camp and sitting there. She was some what happy. She licked her paws. After awhile she stood up and went to the kill pile and began eating her share. She was feeling sicker by the day. But she was terrified of the medic wolf. Honestly, she doubt she was eating enough. After a while, she felt her stomach growling and she felt lightheaded. She shook it away and walked over to the edge of camp again and laid down. As Anwaraidd stalked through the camp, most of the wolves there avoided eye contact and did what they were supposed to, hoping not to draw his attention. Those that did make eye contact were typically higher ranking wolves that weren't quite as afraid of him. Anwaraidd paused, spotting Crystal at the edge of camp, laying down. He bared his teeth slightly and came up behind her. "What are you doing?" he growled. "You're not supposed to be laying here taking it easy, you're supposed to be working."

Crystal jumped to her feet. "I finished everything. And last time when I asked you what else you wanted me to do, you snapped at me." She said slowly backing away from him. Even though she was eating, she was losing weight rather than gaining it. "I also don't feel good." She whispered. She refused to go see the medic wolf. "I've already tried to go to the medic wolf, but she snapped at me as well, so I'm just not asking for help from anyone." She said before scattering to go and act busy. She decided to do everything all over again. She felt her stomach growling. "I already ate my share for the day." She said to herself.

Anwaraidd growled. "Don't talk back to me," he snapped. "If you look around hard enough, I'm sure you can find some better way than to lounge about uselessly." He listened to her, then chuckled and said scathingly , "Are you really such a coward that you can't stand being snapped at? Even the packs former omega had the guts to stay and be treated by the medic." He watched Crystal leave, then chuckled and walked away, shaking his head lightly.

Crystal got up. She decided to go to the medics one last time. She was feeling sick. She has barley eaten anything. She ducked into the medic's den. "Can you please help me. I don't feel good." She said. She was gonna decide to stay to get treated.

Draenen growled as Crystal entered the den. "You again," she snapped. "What is it this time?" Draenen listened as Crystal spoke, then watched her carefully for a moment to see if she would leave again like last time. Seeing that Crystal was going to stay, she nodded and stepped closer. "What's wrong with you?" she asked, her tone still harsh.

Crystal looked at her. She gulped. "I feel like I'm gonna pass out. I also feel weak and sick." She said. She laid down as she had a hard time standing up for long periods of time. She closed her eyes hoping to sooth the pain that she was having.

Draenen grunted and shook her head. "I can tell just by looking at you that you're malnourished," she said. "It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out." Draenen stared down disdainfully at Crystal as she laid down. "Wait right here," she ordered as she walked out of the den. She returned a short while later with a rabbit, which she dropped in front of Crystal. "Eat that," she instructed. "The Alpha would not be pleased if his slave collapsed."

Crystal winced at the thought of being called a slave. She immediately started eating. She also didn't think the hunger was the only problem But she didn't voice her opinions. "Thank you." She said. "I'll probably stay this way as I don't get much food to eat a day." She said. She looked at the medic wolf. She thought she saw a bit of a soft spot.
