Before Skylar could even answer he just broke down in tears. He made his way swiftly to a corner of his room, not daring to look at Rome. He then slid down the wall, sitting down. He didn't want Rome to see this part of him, but he knew if he did it would only make them closer. He then brought his knees to his chest as he fidgeted with his hands a lot. His breath was very fast and he felt like he couldn't breathe. He gasped for air as he kept crying, he couldn't stop. He then ran his hands through his hair, grabbing his hair as he leaned his head back on the wall. He looked over at Rome as he cried out his name quietly. |

Rome stood in his same spot shaking his head. " There's another guy? " he blurted out. Rome was caught up between his own assumptions and anger he almost came close to failing Sky. He shook his head in disbelief before dropping to be next to Sky again. " I hear you baby I really do hear you. I just want to *understand* you " he groaned. As he thought before, lashing out wasn't going to help, and it didn't. So for now Rome was stuck with comforting. He reached out his arms encouraging Sky to lean into them. Until he chooses to, Rome was his shoulder to cry on. " I won't neglect you, shame you, or leave you after what we did. It was a choice made by the both of us. And it'll only be our business. With that being said, i'm here to listen and to understand. I'm not here for you, but i'm here *with you*. This is hella scary. i'm sure of it. Hell, i've never even been with a guy. Nor shared an experience like that with one., that's scary alone. But for you it feels like something more. Why? " |

As Rome spoke, his words were reassuring to Sky, causing him to calm down a little bit. That's all he needed, a bit of reassuring... Or maybe a lot considering he has pretty big trust issues. "I just don't want you to leave me." Skylar cried as he hugged Rome, putting all his weight onto him. He held onto him tight, hoping that everything would work out. He was so scared of Rome leaving him. "I'm just really scared you will leave, I'm sorry." He sniffled as let go of Rome a bit. He got into a more comfortable position but was still attached to Rome, not wanting to let go. |

Rome pressed his nose onto the top of Sky's head. His eyes slightly watered at how hurt Sky truly is. Who could have been so okay with hurting someone like this, and doing things with them just to leave? Rome didn't make it known he cried slightly instead he rather showered Sky with affection. " I'm not going anywhere. You can count on that. There is no need to say sorry baby. We all have our fears " he soothed now brushing Skys hair with his hand. With his free hand he held Sky close. " Things happen. Just know you can always talk to me about them. " |

Skylar tried to stop crying, which he mostly managed but with Rome's words, he began to cry again. He nuzzled into Rome as he heard a knock on the door. "I'm okay mama." Skylar called out knowing why his mom was knocking. He sniffled again as he calmed himself. He let go of Rome with one of his arms before wiping his face. He then pushed his hair behind his ear. "I'm sorry" he then said quietly, knowing he shouldnt be sorry but he just feels like he has to say it. |

Rome rested his head on Skys. With a heavy sigh he told Sky it's okay once more before closing his eyes. Rome had a lot on his mind but now wasn't the time to bring any of it up. Sitting in silence now, giving his affection to Sky gently rocking side to side. Gently, Rome started humming " I bet on losing dogs " by Mitski ( This song is giving right now haha ). " My baby, my baby.. " he sang shakily to himself, aloud. |

(stop literally crying right now) Sky calmed himself more as he wiped his tears again. He then heard a knock on his door again. He raised his head before slowly making his way to his door. He answered the door and slightly smiled at his mom. His mom had brought him a comfort food to cheer him up. "You okay." She said softly as she caressed his face and kissed the top of his head. "Yeah mama" He paused before then saying "I miss Dad." "I know baby, I do too." Irene replied. "Thank you mama I love you." Sky then said taking the plate. "I love you too" Irene said back, smiling at Rome before closing the door. Sky made his way back to Rome sitting beside him. He looked at the plate, not really wanting to eat but knew it would cheer him up. "Wanna get high." Sky then blurted out. |

( NOO ) Rome continued to hum song after song. Watching Irene and Sky talk and exchange food, he shuffled around. For a little while Rome felt lost in music. He didn't really want to press for conversation. Rome turned his head to Sky with a slow and empty blink to his question. It was outragously out of pocket, but fuck it. Rome could never pass up a smoke break. The guy was basically crashing out to the sweet green. " Would you rather the pen or I can roll us a fat one? " he asked vacantly. |

"None." Sky said with a smile as he got up. He then walked over to his closet and rummaged through it. He grabbed a pill bottle and brought it to Rome. "You don't have to." Skylar then said as he opened it. He then looked at Rome as he waited for a reply, wondering how he would react. He grabbed three and closed the bottle. He got up, putting the bottle away before going back to Rome and sitting back down. |

Romes face was filled with emotion again. " I-.. excuse me ? " he blanked out for words. "What the hell is that my love ? " he asked growing slightly concerned. His eyebrow was raised and his side eye was on point. If it got him as high as a cloud he wouldn't decline it that's for sure. But. it caught him off gaurd. " I mean like- yeah it's a uh.
