"..I wonder how much of folklore could possible be true.." Wyatt wasn't paying much attention to the conversation he had created, simply pouring fuel on the flames as he calmly continued to observe. A few soldiers was starting to leave the lunch area here and there as they finished their meals. Liri took a second to catch up to the sudden turn in topic. She never understood how or where Wyatt got these random questions from and it always caught her totally off guard. The second time he spoke she gave a sigh. "I had not considered that before, thanks, Wyatt.." she muttered light heartedly. If scientists were able to create them, it meant folklore definetly wasn't entirely impossible.

"If some of it was, I'd honestly be even more afraid of animals than I should be.." Emerald said honestly, she had also noticed some soldiers leaving the lunch area. She had already finished her food and put her plate in the middle of the table. "Folklore just scares me" She spoke up again.
"At this point in my life, considering our type of normal. Some folklore be true doesn't surprise me." Delta said as he finally chimed into the conversation he'd be listening to.
Sombra was caught off guard when Delta suddenly chimed in, but he wasn't wrong in his statement. "You always ask the strangest questions Wyatt...but yet get some what rational answers" He said to him as he put his empty plate in the middle of the table.

"I'd honestly be fine getting through life without finding out if any of it's true" Emery agreed with Emerald, there was some scary folklore out there. And if they were true..well she had gotten this far in life without knowing and would like to keep it that way. Wyatt gave a chuckle at what Sombra said. "Life would be rather boring without some thoughts to keep you up at night" he stated with a playful grin, finally taking his attention off of watching the soldiers to add his plate to the growing stack. Liri was surprised to realize lunch was drawing to an end. Things had gone smoothly so far, which was a relief. Maybe lunch around the other soldiers wouldn't be so bad afterall. She still disliked the noise though.

Emerald thought for a moment, " You know what...I think I may join you in that thought process" She said to Emery, staying oblivious to folklore just being folklore. She already had other things on her mind, and Wyatt just gave her another thing to think about. "If I get nightmares Wyatt, I'm stealing your blankets and pillows" Emerald said to him.
Delta held back a laugh and just chuckled instead at Emerald's remark to Wyatt. He added his plate to the pile of dirty plates, he got up and stretched his arms. They had to get back to training after this, and all the soldiers were starting to leaving at this point.
Sombra took Liri's plate and then took the pile of plates. "Watch out Wyatt" he said with a slightly laugh, he got up after Delta this and put the dirty plates where the other soldiers put theirs and then retruned quickly to his friends. "We should probably get to the truck"

"I'll help you, Emerald" Emery said, knowing her over active imagination was also likely to be giving her nightmares now that she had that wonderful thought to think about. "He already sleeps on the floor, I'm sure he won't mind" Liri managed to tease after quietly saying thanks when Sombra took her plate. She didn't have a problem with the folklore, but certainly didn't mind the chance to tease Wyatt. When the others got up, she reluctantly followed them, wondering what they'd be doing next. "What's this? How was I supposed to know that folklore scared you? Delta, they're ganging up on me!" Wyatt protested with a light playfulness. Not minding that his attempt at lightening the mood had back fired on him.

"Thank you Emery" Emerald said with a smile before returning her attention back to Wyatt. "Did you forget how many scary folklore stories their are? Not all of them are quite pleastent" She found it quite amusing when Wyatt whined to Delta.
Delta rolled his eyes in a amused manner and looked over at all 3 of the girls. "Alright alright tone it down...if you really wanted to take something Emerald and Emery, instead of his blanket and pillows just make sure its not his food" He knew Wyatt was always somewhat protective of his food for some reason, he noticed by how fast Wyatt would eat his food. "try taking his socks instead" Delta said with another chuckle.
Deciding to not really take a side in this little teasing and bickering. Sombra just decided to just laugh and smile at his friends remarks to each other as they walked towards the truck where the guards were waiting for them. Edited at March 19, 2021 05:22 PM by Moonwing

Wyatt gave a sigh of defeat when he got no help from Delta. "Fine, I guess i deserve it" he huffed, though still smiling slightly. They were all laughing for a change.which was much prefered over the tension that had been thick around all of them. Liri was surprised when Delta actually took a side in the playful bickering and gave a laugh. "Hide them around the place so he has to look for them" she added. Actually having some sort of fun for the first time since getting here. Emery giggled at the given ideas. "See, if you didn't go about giving everyone a hard time, you wouldn't have had this problem" she teased to Wyatt cheerfully.

The guards who led them back to the truck didn't want to ruin the groups little fun, so they stayed quiet. Happy to see that they were being themselves again, even if this would be for a small time.
"As long as you don't hide stuff in my room, then you guess can hide his stuff" Delta said as he climbed into the back of the truck, helping the others into it to help move things move alone fast. "I won't be hiding any of your stuff though" He said to Wyatt as he sat down in his spot.
The six of them returned to training with the dogs for the rest of the day. When they had returned to their little building, there was dinner already waiting for them on the table. The training had been tiring so they glad to come back to a nice warm meal ready for them.

Everyone was settled and eating dinner. Wyatt had already finished his then had proceeded to push his plate aside and rest his head on his arms. He was still awake and listening, just not feeling like keeping his head up. There hadn't been much time to their usual nap today, which was fine, just another thing adjust to. It had certainly been nice to be outside more for a change though. Emery covered her mouth as she yawned before taking another bite of her food. "Well today didn't go too badly.." spoke up after a moment. Nothing bad enough had happened that could be counted as an incident. There had been the rough spots ofcourse, but they had gotten through the day without serious problems. "Yeah, could have been worse in many ways" Liri agreed with Emery, for the first time actually stopping to realize that they had gotten through the day in one piece. It was a relief. They hadn't been exposed to alot, it was still only their first day here, but it was still nice that theynhad gotten through the day.

"Yeah, I'm happy we made a good first impression on the Sargent" Sombra added to the conversation, he was almost done with his plate of food. "I noticed when we first arrived that from his expression that he didn't think to highly of us, but after today I think he was just a little surprised" He said to them with a smile, focusing on his food again. "Probably because of how we handled guns" Delta muttered to them. He had finsihed his dinner and had put his plate onto Wyatt's. He was tried from today's training, so he wasn't talking much at the table. Delta was just his thoughts run through his head, and jumping into the conversation when he felt like he had an answer.
