Once Prince Zypher left and was out of sight and ear shot. Zoko flew back to the cave. He looked at Amara. "Lets go before he comes back.' He said, even if the prince saw Zoko with Amara, he was willing to protect her even if it meant fighting. Zoko himself was a prince but since he doesn't have a kingdom anymore so he doesn't consider himself a prince anymore.

Amara looked at Zoko. "I am sorry. I didnt think he would have followed me out here" she said as she glanced in the direction the prince went. She shuddered at the thought of going back with him. "Are you going to send me back" she asked, hoping he wasnt. While she had heard Zoko say they would leave before Zypher came back, Amara was still nervous.

"I'm not sending you back. I just said I would so he would leave so I can get you away from here." Zoko said. "Can you fly far distances? Or do you want to ride on my back?" He asked, he searched Amara's eyes with his.

Amara gave a sigh of relief before she looked at Zoko. "Thank you" she said. She stood up and stretched her wings. "I've never really flown far, but I am willing to try" she replied. She looked out of the cave before she looked at Zoko. "Where are we going" she asked.

"To a cave I found after my kingdom was destroyed." Zoko said. He walked to the entrance of the cave he ahd found Amara in. He then took to the sky and waited for her. He searched for Zypher. "Its clear, you can come out." He said.

Amara moved to the edge of the cave and stretched her wings before she flapped them a couple times. Once she felt comfortable she took to the sky after Zoko. Once she was next to him, she motioned for the male to lead the way. "What made you want to not return me to Prince Zypher" she asked. She had heard what Zypher had said and while he didnt mention much more than her being a servant, it was clear she was more since no royalty would follow a low servant.

Zoko looked at her as he led her towards his cave. "I don't know, I guess I saw how you hid behind me and my gut feeling told me you knew him and didn't like him." He stated. He looked back at the way he was flying.

Amara followed, keeping pace rather easily. "It's hard to like someone who's always looking down at you like you're nothing" she said as she gave a small sigh. "He's not exactly friendly, and he's hard to get to know." She wasnt sure how much information Zoko would want, but she was willing to tell him more if he was interested. Unlike Zypher, Zoko was easy to talk to, and helped Amara feel safe.

Zoko sighed softly. "You won't be going back to him unless you want too. But I won't make you, I'll keep you safe." He said. As the cave that was on the side of the mountian came into view, the cave was about 5 times the size as the one Amara had found. He slowly landed in the cave and looked at her. He put some wood in a pile and blew fire onto it to light a fire so they could be warm.

Amara landed in the cave before she looked at Zoko. "I dont want to go back. I dont want to be anywhere near someone like that" she told him. "While he might not have been cruel, I still refuse to be near someone like that." Without realizing it, she moved closer to Zoko, laying down next to him. The white scaled female gave a small sigh as she lowered her head onto her legs. She didnt realize how tired she was until then.
