Luna chuckled slightly. "I have been alright. Other than the humans, it's been dull almost." When he mentioned her looking lonely, she nodded. "You arent wrong. Though most stallions decide they dont want to either talk to me or mess with me, and I assume for the most part, they might fear me" she admitted. "After all, how many mares actually take down a stallion" she asked.

"Not many I would be scared too- well I am scared..but not that scared..." Dagger stopped talking again "Well, I don't know why they wouldn't want to talk to you your strong, brave, pretty... so for the most part I'd say they're fools for not wanting you" Dagger realized what he said and looked down "uh..sorry"

Luna smiled. "I just dont think any stallion wants a mare at their side who can whoop their tails" she said before she spotted a few foals running around, laughing as they did so. The white mare didnt lose her smile as she watched them. She knew she wanted foals, she always had, but finding a stallion to care for her for who she was, and care for the herd at the same time, that was going to be rather difficult. She stiffened up when something seemed to come up on her left side as she quickly turned her head to see it was just a rabbit. She hadnt told anyone in the herd her left eye was fuzzy from the fight, not wanting to seem weak.

"I know they don't mainly because they want to control their mate which is stupid...I don't mind if my mate's stronger than me because I'm not controlling just moody" Dagger says "well anyways I'm sure you'll find a mate soon it could be someone you don't expect" With that Dagger dipped his head to her and went over to a tree for shade. Laying down he rolled onto his side enjoying the mixture of sun and shade and letting out a sigh of relaxation.

Luna watched him go before she shook her head a bit. That was the first conversation she had with a stallion since she took over, at least, other than with her brother. It was nice. She made her way over towards a hill that allowed her to watch the herd and she laid down, keeping her right eye towards the herd. She flicked her ears to see a few mares flirting with Storm which made her chuckle. He was too blind to see they wanted him and it amused her.

Marsh trotted up to Dagger "so you guys mate's yet?"

Dagger glanced up at Marsh and sighed "everything was fine..until you got here"

"Stop being rude and answer my question," Marsh says glaring down at Dagger

"no we are not mate's I was just being friendly she looked lonely," Dagger says "I made a complete fool out of myself by rambling on though"

"you almost always ramble on when talking to new horses but how about you talk to her more often and get to know her and while you do that I'm going to enjoy fooling around with other horses," Marsh says nodding her goodbye and leaving.

Dagger stared after her for a few moments then put his head back down and closed his eyes but had his ears listening constantly for anything.

Luna allowed her eye to wonder the herd along with her ears, though she couldnt hear anything from where she was at. She spotted a mare with Dagger and gave a small sigh. She didnt remember much of who was mated with who since she figured it didnt affect her too much. She flicked her ears before she munched at some of the grass that was around her. The sound of a mare squealing caused Luna to jump up to her hooves before she bolted towards the mare who was dealing with a stallion who wouldnt leave her be when she had no interest in him. Luna gave the stallion a swift kick to the chest before he took off to the other side of the meadow.

Dagger pricked his ears and sat up. Rolling his eyes at the stallion that was running away he started snickering. The stallion glared over at him so he quickly put his head back down still snickering. After a while, the colts came back and started asking questions again. Dagger answered them one-by-one until the colts grew tired and laid down next to him. Dagger looked over to their mothers who nodded at him so he stayed there watching over the three. He didn't want to be a foal-sitter but it didn't look like he had much of a choice. He got up and headed over to the pond while the colts got up and quickly followed. Sighing he tolerated them playing around him by the pond. A few seconds later water was splashed all over him and he was soaking wet. Looking up at the colts they all froze and stared back at him. One of the colts smiled and splashed more water on Dagger. Dagger looked around before joining in splashing all of them with a big wave also splashing other horses who looked mad at first then cracked smiles.

Luna watched the stallion before she looked over towards Dagger with the colts. The sight made her smile before she made her way back to the hill. Once she was back on there, she let her eyes wonder back to Dagger and the colts. She was watching them closely and she didnt notice Storm come up to her. "I see someone has their eye on someone" he teased a bit. It was no secret the two were siblings and she looked over at him. "I dont know what you are talking about Storm" she replied before he laughed. "Come on Luna, you are watching him so closely."

The four continued playing around before Dagger came out of the waker shaking himself. The colts looked tired out and trotted to their mothers who looked relieved when the three of them flopped down sound asleep. Still, wet Dagger laid at the edge of the pond by himself enjoying the sun. The colts weren't as bad as he thought they would be and were actually pretty fun. Dagger looked around and saw Marsh with her friends, he didn't feel like moving as he was tired from playing around with the colts. Sighing he laid his head down and stared at the clouds that reflected off the water.
