Lucifer wasn't paying much attention when they were at the checkout desk. He kept glancing in Katelyn's direction, making sure she won't come near them again. As much as he actually somewhat enjoyed seeing her again, he doesn't understand why it is now out of all time. It made him wonder if she thinks that after all of this time if he would forget what happened between them. No matter how much time has passed between the two of them, he would never be able to forget about her. No matter how much he tries to, he just isn't able to ever shake her from his mind. Think of it this way, he was just thinking about her on the car ride here and then all of a sudden she shows up. Odd, honestly, but hopefully it doesn't mean anything in the long run.

He thanked the worker before they left the building, watching as she decided to lean up against the hood of the car. He walked over to her, anger still burning in his eyes. Anyone could see that his jaw is set and stiff, but it only appeared after they left the building. He crossed his arms over his chest, standing rather close to her that made him rather uncomfortable and probably her as well. Then again, she doesn't seem to care about personal space since she did kiss him in a public place after all. His arms then uncrossed, having them rest on the hood of the car on either side of her and his face rather close to hers, only inches apart. Anyone knows that when he is pissed with someone, he will get dangerously close, even if he is one who likes to have space.

"As tempting as that sounds..." He said, trailing off as he did so. He reached up with one hand, his fingertips trailing across her jaw, along her neck, and then down to her collarbone. "I am going to let it slide but you are going to repay me in some type of way when I feel like it is time for you to pay up." At least with him being this close, it made it seem that they are having a close conversation about something or even just sharing a sweet kiss. It sounded like he was done, but he actually wasn't with his next action. His hand quickly went up and clasped around her neck. He pulled her even closer to him, their bodies flushed together and their noses touching. "You do that again and you bet there are going to be consequences." He let her go before backing away from her. He didn't hold her neck tight to where it would leave a bruise or anything. It was more like a warning for her that next time he won't be as kind.

He grabbed her forearm and pulled her to the passenger side, helping her in before he got in and drove off, clearly ignoring her other question. He gripped the steering wheel with his hands when she mentioned the tension between him and Katelyn. "Oh, I wonder why." He said sarcastically, his eyes rolling as he did so. Anyone would be tense around an ex-lover. "You should've gathered by the short interaction who she is. If not, I will spell it out for you." He said as he pulled into the driveway of their house. He turned the car off and turned in his seat towards her. He knows she might tease him for this later, but he didn't care. Better have her know then keep her wondering, then again, it would be amusing to see what she guesses the woman means to him. "Katelyn used to be my lover. That's it." He said before he swiftly got out of the car.

He went over to her side, opening the door and lifting her up in his arms before carrying her into the house. He easily opened the door before entering the house and going straight to the kitchen. He practically dropped her into the counter before backing away from her. "You, ma'am, are going to stay on the counter." He said, his arms once again crossing over his chest as he finally answered her other question from earlier. His gaze stayed on her face, not moving to look elsewhere. "I still can't wrap my mind around why you would think it was a good idea to kiss me in the first place." He pointed out, his head shaking at that. "No matter how much tension or what she says, that doesn't mean you can kiss me. Why the hell did do that when you knew I was going to be furious with it afterward?"

Cleo didn't worry about losing her life on many occasions. This time however when his hand wrapped around her throat, stilled the heart in her chest for a moment as he spoke. The car ride home and being set on the counter were a blur until she felt the hard counter beneath her. Anger flashed in her eyes as she jumped down from the counter, mimicking his arms with her own across her chest. "To try and create a distraction. You could have cut the tension with a knife between you two. So what if I knew you would be furious with me afterwards? If it meant that you didn't take it out on one of the customers or workers, it made it worth it for me. No innocents need to be caught in the crossfire between two lovers who clearly aren't over each other." Her voice rose slightly in pitch as she turned walking away from him.

"Would it be worth letting everyone know where you are before we have been gone for more than 6 hours? Are you really that self centered and dense that you couldn't see the looks people were giving us? The curiousity, wonder, and fear...Shit I doubt you even noticed when she slipped the paper into your pocket." Her dark eyes seemed to darken as she spoke, fury tangoed with anger in her eyes before she looked away releasing her arms for a moment.

She turned her back to him closing her eyes to try and calm the storm that was causing a small tremor to move through her body. Whether it was from only the anger was yet to be seen. After a few seconds she turned back around with her hands on her hips. "And I call bull, I will not sit around like a lazy bum or spoiled trophy wife without helping a little." She lifted a finger to pause him before she continued. "No I do not think I am a trophy wife, just was saying it as an expression."

Cleo made sure to keep just out of his arm's length as she stood meeting his gaze. "If you act this way after a simple peck, then I will take the couch tonight just to not risk accidentally walking into the wrong bathroom...I might as well ask for you to put my head on a skewer first."

Even though she was trying to joke, it wasn't as evident in the dark eyes or tightened jaw of the female. She didn't dare move until there was a knock on the door to which she ran out of the room, opening the door with a smile. Even with the anger that was just behind her facade, she still tried to act like they hadn't been arguing just moments before.

"Welcome welcome. Yes let me help you with that." She moved out of the way before helping pick up one of the smaller, and lighter, packages directing the delivery men where to set the first part of the couch down in the living room. She ignored the pain in her side as she set the box down and moved back to the door helping grab a corner of another section when the one worker seemed to struggle. She bit down on her lip to stifle the squeak that threatened to come out and pushed through it setting the middle section down with a deep breath.

She didn't move to continue helping when the worker went back to the door, instead she walked up the stairs using the distraction of mutliple people coming in and out of the house to sneak into the bathroom spitting into the sink trying to rid the metal taste from her mouth. One hand was holding her side while she used her free hand to inspect her lip where she had bitten down. "Poop...I shouldn't have bitten down so hard, that isn't going to be easy to cover."

Lucifer raised his brow when she jumped off the counter when he clearly told her to stay seated on the counter. Funny how she suggested it but then ends up not listening to him from the get-go. This, folks, is why he can't deal with women. They tell you one thing or give you their opinion but get mad at you when you do what they suggested. He can never win with women, which is why he tends to stay away from them. Then there is the fact that he finds them rather annoying like they are mere mortal beings that he hates as well. He could only deal with Selene and sometimes she is too much for him to handle, especially if she is pissed off whether it is with him, Aatto, or someone else. Having to now deal with Cleo is going to be utterly exhausting if she gets pissed off with him all the time like this.

He couldn't help but snort when she mentions not taking it out on someone else around him at the store. He found it amusing that she thinks he cares about the people around him. She should really rethink that if that is the case. She should know by now that he doesn't care for a single soul unless that soul is Selene. Even then he sometimes doesn't care for her and has the urge to snap her neck. He tries to keep it in check around her, but sometimes it is hard if she ends up pissing him off. "Oh darling, you act as if I care about those mortals lives. Such an innocent soul you have. Sometimes I wished I was like that." He said sarcastically, his eyes rolling at her. If she really thought that, he is only going to be laughing at her as that is the funniest shit he has heard in ages.

Of course, he saw the looks that people were giving him. He just didn't care as he is fricken Lucifer. If he blew his cover, who gives a damn shit. They can come at him all he wants and he will gladly kill each and every one of them. It would definitely give him the satisfaction of killing and torturing the creatures that would be coming towards him. Damn, now he kind of wished he blew his whistle as then he wouldn't have to reel in his anger with Cleo. No matter how much his fingers are itching to reach out and snap her neck, he knew he couldn't. "I did. I just didn't bother to touch it. I can practically feel the paper burning a hole in my jacket pocket." He sneered as he shrugged the leather jacket off and threw it across the room into the living room with such force. At least it is his jacket and not him throwing her across the room. He is kind of surprised with himself.

He didn't say anything, not wanting to lose his anger on her and hurt her more than she already is. He let her slip off towards the front door to let people in. He helped bring things in when he noticed that Cleo slipped away and went upstairs. He glanced at the people around bringing the items in, a sigh leaving his lips as he excused himself. He has definitely calmed down, but he is still annoyed that she decided to kiss him. He went upstairs, noticing that the bathroom door is closed. No, he didn't come up because he is worried. He came up because he could and he didn't need an excuse to come up in the first place.

He pressed his ear against the door, not hearing anything. So, he did a brisk knock on the door before he swung it open. At seeing her bloody lip, he could only scowl at her. This is why he told her not to lift anything heavy with her ribs. "Sometimes listening to me is a good thing." He mumbled as he went over to her. He gently turned her towards him before carefully lifting her up onto the counter. He avoided her ribs to prevent her from squeaking out in pain. He grabbed a rag and wet it before he started to gently dab at her lip. "Why don't you let us bring things and you can help assemble them? It will be easier on your ribs." He suggested, dabbing her lip a few more times. Once the blood was gone, he set the rag on the counter.

He stood before her, his hands on her hips without him noticing. His gaze flickered over her face before deciding to speak. "You have to understand that I acted the way I did. Had I done that to you and you were in my place, you wouldn't be very pleased either. All I ask is that you tell me your plan beforehand before actually acting on it only seconds later." He mumbled before pulling her off the counter and setting her on the ground. He leaned down and pressed a kiss to her cheek, his lips lingering there for just a moment. "Remember, talk first, actions later, love." He winked at her before leaving her in the bathroom and heading down to the living room.

It still felt as though his hands were still on her hips as she stood staring out the door blinking a few more times. She moved to the door and made her way down the stairs, taking a seat on the bottom couple watching them still bringing items in. His words rang in her mind and she found herself watching him a little longer than she wanted but shook her head and moved out of the way when it appeared that they were going to be bringing in the bedroom items. She directed them to which items went where and then walked down the steps heading into the basement.

At least this way she was out of the way and leaned her head back against the wall closing her eyes with a chuckle. Seeing the furious Lucifer that was followed by a gentle one made her feel like she was going to get whiplash at how seemlessly he changed between the two. She pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them as she let out a sigh.

"It is hard to tell you my plan if I don't know what it is going to be at first." It didn't seem like it was very long after that, that her breathing had evened out and she was napping lightly. Only jerking awake with a groan when her head dipped forward. She didn't bother to look at her phone to see what time it was as she stood and walked up the stairs. It took a moment for it to register in her mind the set up in the living room.

For a second she thought about calling out for Lucifer but then decided against it and headed back upstairs into the bathroom that she would later claim as her own. She turned on the water letting it warm up as she discarded her clothes and stepped into the cascading warmth. Her eyes closed as the pain seemed to ease with the heat. She released her hair of the braid and set the pony tail holder on the edge of the sink before starting off softly singing.

She didn't have a bad voice but not many got to listen to her singing. Her voice was similar to the artist Twinnie but a little richer. As much as she loved to sing, she rarely did it infront of an audience as she had been teased as a child for being confident in her voice. The song that she had chosen to sing along to was You by Chris Young. It wasn't that she had heard the song recently, it was one of the songs that would get stuck in her head at random times during the day.

The stress of everything that had happened earlier in the day washed down the drain with the sweat and grime from earlier. Granted she probably should have locked the door after the previous interruption but the warm water was calling her name.

Lucifer grabbed the TV remote laying next to him on his bed. He pointed it towards the screen and pushed the off button. He watched as the screen turned back before he threw it slightly, having it bounce on the sheets a few times before laying a few feet from him. He rolled onto his back, his hands clasping on his abdomen as he stared up at the dark grey ceiling above him. He crossed his legs at the ankles, clearly relaxed with not having anyone around him at the moment. He enjoys his peace and quiet as that means he doesn't have to deal with people talking to him about nonsense. Then again, sometimes he does enjoy people in those rare moods he has.

He has been living with Cleo for last month. It hasn't been too bad, honestly. He makes all the food because he doesn't know if she can cook and if it will even be eatable to say the least. She does the dishes at least and makes her own coffee. They do their laundry separately just because. He doesn't know why he even suggested that. Maybe because he doesn't want to put red in with his white clothes and have them turn pink. Yeah, that is why he doesn't do that. He doesn't need his clothes to be turned into different colors from their original ones. Other than that, they seem to get along decently, but sometimes she can get on his nerves if she pushes his buttons. Especially with those damn pick up lines.

A small smile curved onto his lips at thinking about those pick up lines. She is trying her hardest and he can't help but find it amusing she keeps trying them on him. Are they working on him? Certainly not. There have been a few that he has found hilarious, but besides those, he usually rolls his eyes and scowls at her. He wonders how much longer she will keep this up before she decides to give up when she sees that it isn't working on him. He hopes not too soon because it is one of the few amusing things going on in his life right now. If she gives them up, he certainly isn't going to turn to the TV all the time to fill his thirst for amusement for the day.

He then thought of something, causing him to sit up in one swift movement in bed. The smile grew bigger, knowing that Cleo isn't going to appreciate what he has in mind. He didn't care as he finally has a way for her to repay him for the kiss that she gave him at the furniture store. He is still a bit sour about that, but not entirely. Tonight will most certainly make it disappear and not have him bring it up again. Well, maybe. He might bring up every once in a while to tease her, but tonight will make it disappear for a while.

He got up from the bed and went into the bathroom. He ran a hand through his hair, not caring that it is somewhat messy. It makes him look nice with his dark grey button-up shirt, dark jeans, and his boots. He took one glance at his reflection before going over towards Cleo's room. He thought about knocking and waiting for her to answer it, but he feels like that will only take forever. So, he did what he sometimes does when he is impatient and doesn't want her to answer the door herself. He gave the door a few brisk knocks before swinging the door open with a grin on his lips.

"We are going clubbing tonight. You are buying me drinks to pay off for that kiss you gave me a month ago. I told you I would find a way for you to pay me back and I found the perfect one." He said as he jumped onto her bed like a child in a way. He rolled onto his side, his head is propped up with his hand as he looked at her, the grin still on his lips. "I know it isn't my type of place, but I will be more than happy with you buying me alcohol. Let's go." He said, knowing she can't really say no unless she wants him to find a different way to have her repay him back for the kiss. It might even be worse than clubbing, having her wish that she took him up on this offer.

Her eyes didn’t even lift from the book she was reading in her hanging chair. She looked up hearing his voice and almost protested but the thought of something worse than that popped into her mind before she answered. “Okay fine...as long as I don’t have to change.” She closed the book after marking her spot and set it on the little nightstand she had put between her bed and chair. Sometimes it annoyed her when he would knock and then proceed to walk in as she wasn’t always decent for someone else’s eyes. Though she had started to lock her door if she was changing or getting ready just on the off chance he needed something.

The last few weeks had seemed to go smoother in her opinion since their argument the day that everything was being moved in. She ran a hand through her damp hair as she watched him laying on her bed. “You know I have other chairs you can sit in...instead of wrinkling my just dried blankets.” Normally she would have gone with a cheesy pick up line but after a late night of following a couple leads she had been given concerning the mark on the weapon that led to more questions than answers, she then worked out her frustration downstairs before work, went to work, and then did another training session after work. She was just settling in for the night when Lucifer had walked into her room.

“I mean you do look good in my bed, but I would rather get this over and done with. That bed is calling my name.” She stood up in her sock covered feet running her hands down the light washed jeans that hugged her curves in the right way but yet were still really comfortable as she bent over to slip on her cowboy boots. She looked down at the band tank top she was wearing and shrugged before moving over to her dresser picking up one of the many ponytail holders as she began to tie her long dark hair back into a ponytail. The only evidence she wasn’t really thrilled about being disrupted from her reading was the lack of shine in her eyes. Of course she didn’t mind going out with friends or even Lucifer, but it was the one night she would have liked to hide in her room away from people.

She didn’t wait for him before she was walking down the stairs and stepped into the kitchen looking for something to drink from the fridge. Honestly she was glad that he had wanted to make the food more often. It wasn’t that she was a bad cook, she just didn’t enjoy it as much as he did. She had more fun watching him cook while drinking her coffee in the mornings or conversing about something menial about work. When her eyes landed on a bottle of white gatorade, she pulled it out and opened it before taking a sip. It then hit her that she might have to drive them home and she turned to look at Lucifer with a sickly sweet grin. “Well if I am buying you drinks, it means I will be the designated driver home.” She grabbed the keys from the counter before he could and walked to the door. Even though her muscles complained at the light jog she did to the door, she leaned her back against the door with a wink. “Are you sure you want to go out with me? I am a little bit of a mess.”

Lucifer was always one to barge into a room when he pleases. He doesn't care what you are or about to do, he will come in. If someone was getting dressed and he swung the door open when they are practically naked, he wouldn't care. His eyes would only stay on that person's face and their face only. He wouldn't dare look lower unless that person is his lover. He has done that to Katelyn a lot when they were still together. It seems like it is a knack that hasn't yet disappeared, clearly. He just didn't think about it because, hell, he is the King of Hell. He doesn't need to wait for someone to open the door or whatever even if what he has to say to them is urgent or not. At least Cleo has figured out to lock her door when she is changing or he is sure that he would've found her in a different state of mind than a fully clothed woman.

When she agreed to come, surprisingly, his brow raised. How interesting that she agreed so easily instead of trying to argue her way out of it. Perhaps she knows by now that once his mind is made up, there is no way anyone would be able to sway it. He glanced over her appearance, his shoulders shrugging as he could care less about what she is wearing when they go out. As long as she is okay with what she is wearing and is comfortable, that is all that will matter to him. "You don't have to change if you don't want to." He rolled his eyes at her comment about there being chairs in her room. "It isn't like I am going to be spending the night on them." He grumbled as he removed himself from the bed before she could make some sort of cheesy pick up line.

At her next comment, he snorted, knowing that the pick up line was going to come whether he wanted it to or not. "Damn. Here I thought I was going to get away with you not making a cheesy remark." He teased, a small smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. He watched her for a moment as she looked over her appearance. Only a moment though as he felt his phone buzz in his pocket moments later. He took it out of his pocket, seeing the name flashing on the screen. He took a glance in Cleo's direction, making sure she wasn't paying attention before opening it and sending the person a text. Let's just say that after a week of having Katelyn's number in the pocket of his jacket, he decided to text her. He only does it occasionally, but he didn't tell Cleo about it as she wouldn't approve of it or anything. It isn't like he is married to her or cheating on her. Besides, it is a bit nice talking to an old flame. A bit nice. Most of the time it will be every four days he texts her, but that is it. He isn't that interested in being more than acquaintances.

He slipped his phone back in his pocket just as Cleo turned around. He rolled his eyes as he went over to her, wrapping his arm around her shoulder as he lead her out of her room. "Darling, you look fine. As long as you are comfortable, that is fine." Ya know, the odd thing with living with her all the time is that he has been calling her darling quite often. He pretends he doesn't notice it, but sometimes he wonders why he even calls her that sometimes when he realizes he calls her that. He doesn't want to think about the possibilities, so he always pushes them to the back of his head. He likes it that way instead of trying to think it could have a deeper meaning to it than he thought by calling her that.

He grabbed the keys from the counter in the kitchen as they went through it. He opened the door for her, letting her go out first before following her. Soon, they are both in the car, but he didn't leave the driveway just yet. He turned towards her in the seat, one hand on the steering wheel while the other is resting on the back of her headrest. "Which club do you want to go to? The one that is to the West or East side from the house?" He asked, surprisingly giving her the option to choose which club she rather go to.

She followed his lead and turned to face him. "You know what? It doesn't matter to me. Whichever one has the cheaper drinks." She wiggled her eyebrows playfully before she leaned back in her seat. Her eyes were still on him as she waited before chuckling. Sometimes she would keep track in her mind how many times in the day he would call her darling but after a couple she gives up. She placed a hand on his arm that was on the back of her headrest before she spoke again.

"Why don't we try the East side club? I haven't been to either one so I am going to trust your judgement." She then pulled out her phone after patting his arm waiting for him to begin driving. She started to text a couple of people from their job that she had become friends with. Her fingers typing away on her phone as Lucifer pulled out of the drive. If he wanted to look over, she wasn't afraid to show that she was texting Gary or Laurie. Tonight she was texting Gary mainly talking about a couple of things that they were following up on from work.

Even when they were at the office, she seemed to gravitate towards the blonde haired male when there was a question she had or even just when taking a break. She had found him to be easier to talk to and had even asked him for some cheesy lines to try on her husband. She slipped her phone back into her pocket as she looked out the window. "So you didn't answer my statement about me being the driver home. Are you actually going to give me some of that control?"

The lights of the street lamps danced across her features as she turned her head towards him smiling. As much as she would have enjoyed staying home and reading her book, part of her was excited to be having a night out with him. The lights of the club caught her attention as the pulled into a spot. She waited until the vehicle was in park before she climbed out and walked to the end of the line waiting for him. Her arms wrapped around her torso defensively as she stood in the line. Her eyes looked a couple of women up and down at their outfits but otherwise she was trying to keep to herself.

It was almost painfully obvious she felt under dressed and out of place standing in the line. Her other defense was to pull out her phone and looked through her social media trying to block out as much as she could other than Lucifer and where she was supposed to be headed. She almost didn't recognize the voice that called her name until she lifted her gaze. "Gary!" The male walked over to her and pulled her into a hug with a warm smile.

"Imagine seeing you two here. I didn't take you as much of a club going Lynne." Her cover name almost didn't click when their coworker spoke to her name. A smile filled her features as he stood next to her wrapping an arm around her shoulder. There was a hint of possessiveness in his action as he looked over at Lucifer still with a warm smile. "How are you Mr. Williams?" The feigned respect evident in his tone.

Lucifer has never been one to go to a club. He doesn't like being around people let alone a crowded building of them. They are all sweaty and this and that, which is why he doesn't enjoy going to them. Now, if it was a low scale one where it was more peaceful, he wouldn't mind going to them. But, when it is jammed back and you are particularly dancing against people no matter how far you move away from them, that is a problem. He only suggested the club tonight as he was more interested in the drinks he is getting out of it than he is going. Besides, may as well put himself out there more to seem like he is open to trying new things. Well, within reason, of course. Tonight is for drinks, maybe a dance or two with Cleo depending on how many people are packed into a single building.

He glanced at her when she suggested the club that is in the East. He let a small laugh leave his lips at her comment about trusting his judgment. He didn't know which one was better either, so she is putting a lack of faith in his judgment. "Darling, I won't trust my judgment either. I only suggested them since I see them when we are either driving home from work or getting groceries." He pointed out, showing that he doesn't know which one is better or has cheaper drinks. "For all we know, you picked the club that has expensive drinks. Not that I am complaining since I am not paying." He said, giving her a wink. He then thought for a moment, wanting it to seem like he cares in a way. Then again, he shouldn't be thinking about being kind towards her as that might give her the impression that he is starting to like her more than a friend and he rather not have that. "After fifty bucks for my drinks, I will buy both our drinks. It is only fair so you aren't paying for all of my drinks."

When she asked him again about her being the driver, he snorted. It is funny that she thinks he is going to be drinking enough to where he is going to be drunk. Human alcohol never seems to faze him, unless he ends up drinking the entire bar. That hardly ever happens though as he is never interested enough to drink that much. The only time that happened was the first few months after his mother died. After getting drunk for the fifth time in just two months, he knew it wasn't healthy and stopped doing it. "Me. Remember, we aren't mortals. We don't get drunk off a couple of shots or really strong liquor." He pointed out. Well, he doesn't, but he isn't entirely sure about her. He has a feeling it would be funny to see her drink and what she would spill in her drunken mind.

Once they got there and got in line, he watched her closely, seeing how she seemed to feel like she is undressed. He opened his mouth to say something, but he didn't get to before he heard Gary's name fall from her lips. A small scowl left his lips at hearing the man's name, but it disappeared before the man came over. He didn't like Gary, which isn't surprising as he doesn't like most people. He didn't have a good feeling about the man, but he can't put his finger on why he feels like that. He never said that to Cleo as she would only protest in saying he is a great guy even though his gut feels the opposite. For example, that is how he felt about Silro, the man that- Actually, he won't say anything as that isn't something he likes to think about.

He visibly frowned at seeing Gary's arm around her shoulders, not liking that for some reason. It even seemed like he is being possessive of her and he didn't like that one bit. "I am doing fine. Thank you for asking." He said, trying to be polite. He even gave the man a small smile. He then reached out, pulling Cleo away from Gary and into his side. His arm is wrapped securely around her waist, clearly showing possessiveness and protectiveness over her. He dipped his head down next to her ear, trying to show that she belongs to him and not Gary. "You look beautiful, love. Don't let what the other women are wearing get to you. I love you the way you are." He is actually telling the truth, even though it seemed so odd for him to say such a thing. Well, he doesn't love her, but he definitely likes her the way she is and wouldn't want her to change anything about her. He pressed a kiss to the corner of her mouth before turning his attention back to Gary. "How about you Gary? How are you doing?"

His comment about loving her the way she is and his kiss caught her offguard. She turned her head to look at Lucifer confusion dancing in her eyes before they returned to Gary when he spoke. "I am doing good. Wasn't expecting the two of you to be here. Are you guys just having a fun night out? If that is the case, you chose the right spot." He offered a wink towards Cleo and then ushered the couple into the building before him.

Thankfully the place wasn't overly packed and there was enough places to sit if someone wanted to spend more time sitting instead of dancing. Cleo noticed that Lucifer's hand was still resting on her waist and she slipped away from him going over to order a couple of drinks. Once the drinks were ready, she took a sip of the water and walked back over to Lucifer handing him the drink. "It doesn't matter to me. I don't think I am going to attempt drink very much tonight."

Even if a couple of drinks didn't affect her, she wasn't one to get into drinking. In fact she hadn't touched much of the stuff after watching one of her close friends get carried away. It was part of the reason how she ended up being an angel before she fell. She took another sip of her water before being pulled out onto the dance floor by Gary. The way his hands rested on her hips as he danced with her making sure to make eye contact with Lucifer. It looked as though he was doing it on purpose to try and get a rise out of the other male before Cleo stepped away saying she had to put her drink down.

She walked over to a table and set her drink down making sure to take a seat before someone else pulled her onto the dance floor. She was watching the ice in her drink as she spun it before finally looking up and over at Lucifer. "I have a tab under my card, so you can go and get as many drinks as you want on it. I don't care about paying for all of them. This night is for you love. Gotta keep my man happy." Her eyes wandered over to the dance floor doing a double take on a couple of people that looked familiar to her. One of them looking like the woman that had stopped them in the furniture store all those weeks ago.

She was about to tell Lucifer but was interrupted when a waitress came over and set down a drink saying that a darker haired male had ordered the drink for her. Cleo looked over to the male and offered a nervous smile before going back to her water taking a drink. The other beverage sitting by her elbow patiently waiting for the young woman to either give it to Lucifer or drink it herself.
