Okay West is making me sad is gonna make Lewis meet him quicker.
After dropping Addilyn off at her place, Lewis needed coffee and a good place to read. Normally, he'd go to the small hole in the wall coffee place by his home but that was to far and he was having a coffee emergency. Tapping his fingers on the steering wheel, he made it to the coffee place flustered and red. A book in hand, kept in relatively good condition though it was well worn after many reads. Entering the shop in all his nerdy glory, he ordered a large cup of black coffee. The only thing he found appeasing. Black or iced coffee was always good for the brain. Not really but for Lewis it was. He stayed quiet and sat down as he waited for his name to be called. Pushing up his glasses, he grabbed a small comfy corner of the room and sat down. It was on the opposite end of where West was sitting though Lewis didn't notice anyone since at this point he was intently reading his book. One hand kept the book open and the other was under Lewis' chin.

West always looked up when the bell on the door chimed. You never knew when inspiration would strike. That action allowed West to see a guy walk in. A first glance he didn't seem like much, but that was what many book characters had in common. As West watched, he ordered a cup of coffee, and began to read a book, though the title was hidden from view. West could appreciate a good book. Since he wasn't doing anything, which was something he beat himself up about, West decided to draw this normal young man. He kept his eyes on the man, and let his pencil roam the page, finding the area that was correct to draw in. That was what his power was - he could draw or write with complete accuracy without looking. His fingers knew where to go.

Lewis ignored his bright red hair mixed with the single strip of his own black hair and continued reading. Politely thanking the woman who brought his coffee and giving her a tip. He hardly moved his head. When Lewis got into a book, he literally never put it down. And this book, was really good. It was written by a guy named West Lee which was interesting with the whole name thing but whatever.

West let his mind drift, and let his eyes take in his drawing subject. Sometimes, whenever he drew, he would look down and see little notes on the side - ideas for stories, for people, of how life would look like through someone else's eyes. West wouldn't admit it - he wouldn't dare - but instead of the next book in the long awaited series, he had a plan for a new tale. Not a series, and not the action he was known for. No, it was the tale of a young boy as he grew, not loved, not lost, not yet. It was more a philosophical tale, one he knew the majority of his followers wouldn't like.

The young man stayed there for s long time. Only moving to drink his coffee or to flip the page of the book. If anything, he was being a very good drawing subject despite not knowing that he was being watched. His red hair changed color as the sun moved in the sky. Black eyes steady and calm. A small smile on his face as he continued reading. After a long while, he looked down at his watch; eyes widening as he realized what time it was. "I'm so screwed." He muttered under his breath as he threw all his stuff into his bag, being careful with the book. Lewis was literally about to be late for work.

West's pencil flew across the page, and he cursed as he looked back, sure his drawing was ruined. The young mans movement had caused his pencil to shift drastically, causing a dark line to streak across the drawing. As he suspected - ruined. The loss was upsetting, but it wasn't a new feeling. The notes around the picture were still intact, and there would be other opportunities to draw. West's gaze was buried in his sketch pad, oblivious to the world.

Lewis quickly exited the coffee shop and hopped into his car. Turning it on with ease and raising the volume of his music as he began to drive to his job.
