Sloane was basically already being dragged, and she rolled her eyes. The poison had made her movements a lot more loose, and her tongue less locked, " 'm right h're, ya know. An' t'place is-" The sentence was broken up by a yawn, "-far. There's an inn a few bu'ldin's d'wn. I'll pay. Jus' go ther'." Bulla paused in the air, "Annie is right. The place is kinda far, and would be annoying to get to. I know what Inn she's talking about, though. We can go there! If you get Annie up the room then it will be all fine after that!"

Kanu sighed, he was staying at that Inn, and he didn't want to be murdered by Sloane in the morning. He supposed that he'd just have to deal with her later, when she was sober and not falling all over him. "That's fine, I know where it is. I just don't want her throwing up on me. Granted, I think she might kill me later if she passes out and I have to carry her into the room." Kanu paused in his dragging to look up at Bulla. "If she murders me I'm gonna be very upset, but do tell my little sister that all my riches go to her, wouldn't want it all going back to my bastard father." Kanu was obviously joking, his crooked smile lighting up his face. He did feel as though Sloane might kill him later on, for now, he was completely focused on trying to keep Sloane from dirtying herself on the muddy ground.

A wave of bubbles exploded from Bulla as the little dragon chuffed, her big eyes squinting as she laughed, "Annie won't be upset with you, Kanu. Promise! She'll be annoyed, but not at you, so do not fret a any more." Bulla found it amusing how much Kanu overestimated Sloane's hatred for him. If she hated him nearly as much as he assumed she did, there would be no way Sloane would have ever asked him for help. She'd have simply broken into his kingdom to get what she needed. Bulla wouldn't be the one to tell Kanu that, though. "Just pick Annie up. She's totally out of it - and I'll explain it to her in the morning. She'll understand."

Kanu wouldn't admit it, but he was rather relieved when Bulla informed him that Sloane wouldn't be murdering him for this. He quite liked having his head attached to his body and all, so he calmed a bit at Bulla's reassurance. That didn't help the fact that Sloane was basically passed out for all the help she was giving him in trying to drag her about. He hadn't ever really thought about it before, but all her muscle made her heavy. Although for someone like him, it wasn't too big of a deal, it still made the whole thing a bit more complicated than it had to be. Gravity was definitely working against him. At Bulla's words, his eyes widened a bit, was she trying to get him killed? He didn't actually believe she had any malicious intent towards him, but picking up Sloane seemed like a horrible idea. "I mean, if you say so." He stopped walking for a moment, then scooped her up with ease. After readjusting for a moment, he walked forwards again, Sloane in his arms. He felt like he was tempting the Fates.

Sloane woke up to the mother of all headaches. The sunlight was too bright, Bulla's little snores were too loud, and everything was exactly too much. It was not a good time. "Motherfuck. Shit. Damn," She groaned, keeping her eyes tightly closed for a while longer. There was a brief debate about staying in bed, but as the memories of the previous night came in - she had been poisoned, after all, not wasted - it was all Sloane could do to keep in another groan. Fucking great. She'd embarrassed herself in front of Kanu, and a bunch of other mortals. That was not how her plan was supposed to go. With a low sigh, Sloane slung her legs over the side of the bed, opening her eyes slowly. Today was going to be a rough day, but Kanu had promised to get her into hell. Those plans would wait on no man - especially not Sloane.

Kanu woke up with the sunrise, and got out of bed with quite a loud groan. First thing first, he took a bath. The mortal realms had such nice baths, they were so... moderate and calm. Compared to his own domain, where baths were always one extreme or another, and were mostly communal. Originally, before he'd slaughtered all of his siblings, Kanu had had to share the huge, swimming pull sized bath with all of his 8 siblings, excluding Rue since she'd always been pulled out of the ruckus by his mother and brought to the Queen's private chambers. Regardless, he found earth baths much, much more calm and relaxing than those of his own home. After grooming his wings and braiding his hair, he pulled on his clothes, taking care to place the holes on his shirt just right so his wings would fit through comfortably. Once he was done with all of that, he packed up all his stuff and headed downstairs. The Inn had free breakfast downstairs, and he was not about to pass up the opportunity for some free food.

Sloane had not opted for a bath, and while she knew she was scruffy and probably not the best sight, she couldn't find it in her to care. So, Sloane was down for breakfast early, draining down black coffee, which was helping her headache, and waking her up. By the time she noticed Kanu come down for breakfast, she's had two large mugs of coffee, and was working on her third, with empty plates that had previously held two large meals. Bulla was perched on Sloane's shoulder, looking quite pleased that her friend was up and about.

It took a moment for Kanu to realize Sloane was already down, which was rather surprising to him. Normally, when he got a little too drunk on Fire's Child, he'd be passed out until midday. A grin formed on his face as he sauntered over to Sloane, slipping into the seat besides her as his wings disappeared. Kanu was wearing the clothes of his own people though they were modified for his wings of course. All Hell clothes were mostly black, but there was always something colorful about them. The skin tight long sleeved shirt he wore was completely black, save for the purple and silver patterns across the shoulders and arms of his shirt. His trousers were also made out of a looser material, since he preferred freee movement and Hell's pants tended to fit rather tight and were too restricting for his job. Kanu's feet were bare, and a heavy dark brown satchel was slung over his shoulder. "Well goodmorning, I hope you're feeling better. Actually, hold on," Kanu paused, then opened up his satchel and looked through it for a few minutes before pulling out a small bottle. "This is a tonic my sister makes for when I get hungover, gives you more energy and clears your head. Here." Kanu handed it over, a drowsy look on his face. "I need coffee, and bacon."
