Bulla huffed, sitting on her back hinds and almost crossing her front legs, "Annie does not try to control me!" She exclaimed, "We are friends. I am not some little pet to be reined in and controlled. I just didn't really like you," Bulla scrunched up her snout, sass entering her voice, "You are like a bull-faced furgle-swharp." A furgle-swharp was an cocky and annoying creature that lived in the heaviest clouds. It was like a mix between a frog and a bird, and thoight it was the best thing in the worldC always screaming out its own praises. Bulla seemed to get over her mild anger quickly, and dropped down to all fours once more, curling her tail closer, "Anywho. You might not want to react out loud, because people are staring at you because 1) you stick out a lot and 2) I am a dragon sitting on your shoulder and you are talking to me, but Shoter is dead," Bulla reported proudly, "My Annie snuck the poison into his wine, and he died later that night. She's pretending to be ill as well, but played it off as her immortal immune system helping her out."

Kanu gaped at the absolute sass coming off Bulla. Normally other dragons liked him, granted, this dragon did happen to be friends with Sloane and if you were friends with Sloane there was probably certain criteria you had to meet. With the way she hated Kanu, the first rule was probably something along the lines of: 'Hate any handsome, charming half-shifter that comes from hell. As the levels of their hot-ness could literally make you fall for them, so hate 'em instead.' Yea, something along those lines. Kanu had a snarky comment to make about the dragon's sass, but unfortunately she made a good point, people were staring. It probably had something to do with the light blue rather flashy dragon on his shoulder. Fortunately for Bulla, she mentioned Shoter being dead and Kanu immediately jumped for joy. Releasing a loud, "woohoo!" Before taking his seat, effectively catching everyone in the room's attention before giving them all a sharp glare, making all the humans quickly return to their business. "Please tell Sloane that I am very saddened by this news. And that I hope she feels better soon." Kanu winked, his purple eyes glimmering with freedom. He had not wanted to marry that human that would eventually wrinkle and die like humans tended to do. He hadn't wanted a war either, but that would've been more fun than being with that boring man.

Bulla squeaked as Kanu jumped, catching herself with her wings, glaring at him while she settled back down on his shoulder, "I just told you not to make a scene." The bubble dragon sighed, "You are an oaf." The insult wasn't delivered cruelly, and was more of a kind joke then a mean one, a stark difference from Sloane, "But I suppose there has to be a reason Annie even bothered to talk to you." Bulla tilted her head, and sneezed, a bubble blown into existence. The little dragon didn't try to make it sticky, so after a while, it just popped. Her eyes tracked it until it did, but the dragon continued to speak, "I will tell Annie, Kanu," She turned to look at him once the bubble was gone, and grinned, showing off her pearly white teeth, "It is very nice to meet another dragon. I have heard many tales about you, and a few of the dragons in the underworld. If possible, give your mother my condolences on marrying an even worse oaf."

Kanu had to grin at the small dragon's insults, she was nice enough, even if she had Sloane as a friend. Then again, there was much more to Sloane than just being a badass and hating everyone. Much, much more. Kanu's train of thought was interupted by the bubble, it caught his eyes immediately and for a moment he looked like a child. A kind enchanted by a little bubble. He quickly returned his gaze to Bulla, listening to her words with a growing smirk. "Oh don't worry, I will, my mother will be ecstatic to hear another dragon shares her ideas about how much of an ass her husband is." Kanu couldn't help a small chuckle at the thought of his mother meeting this tiny dragon. They'd definitely get along. "It was a pleasure to meet you Bulla."

Bulla sat up on her haunches, matching the smirk on Kanu's face. She gave the shifter a mock salute, and pushed off into the air, "Yes. It was a pleasure to meet you as well. I'll be off, then." The dragon flicked her tail, and hissed at a person who came a bit too close to touching her. People watched with wife eyes as the little dragon shot off, flying out the door as a new patron walked in.

Ts to Kanu seeing Sloane again? Possibly later in the day, maybe even the next day since Kanu is probably going to spend the entire day and night at the tavern celebrating.))

Time to wake up in someone else's bed again. ;) )) ~ ~ Kanu woke later than the previous day, and he only woke so early because the woman beside him was shifting around, slowly waking up. He tried not to be there normally, the next morning when they woke up, unfortunately, he had gotten rather drunk the night before and had a pounding headache because of it. This meant that sleeping in had been a must, even if it did create scenarios like this one. Kanu allowed the woman to get dressed and leave before he got up. He didn't wish to talk to her, just wanted to get to his room in the castle and thank Sloane. He heard the front door close and pulled on his own clothes before heading out. Flying out of town with steady wings, putting on a masked expression as he touched down. Waiting for the news of the dead king with a cheerful delight.

i'm only responding to one thing, then i'm snoozing. have riding tomorrow haha ---// Bulla alerted Sloane that Kanu had arrived, like she had asked the little dragon to do, and left her room. She had found a pair of tunic and breaches to change into, since she didn't have her clothes here, and they were slightly big on her. No matter. Sloane took her time walking down the steps as she slipped out of the big castle doors, and met Kanu on the ground, "Well," she said casually, "It seemed like you had a great time creating an alibi."

Kanu's wings fanned out for a moment, stretching in that majestic way of his, and he yawned dramatically before beginning to walk into the palace. He was stopped though, by the only midget in his life, Sloane. He could definitely do without the midget in his life. She was almost as bad as his mom. A sly grin appeared on his face as Sloane spoke, and he crossed his arms in a teasing manner. "What, are you jealous? Sorry but since you absolutely refuse to even acknowledge me half the time, I have to get my attention from other people. It's not personal." He grinned down at the princess, his teasing tone much more toned down than normal. He was in too good of a mood to actual be malicious with his teasing.
