Amara looked at Sebastian. "I never said you had to let me work with you" she chuckled. She was enjoying this time with him, even if they had to keep it hidden from his parents. She knew they wouldnt understand, and neither would her father for that matter. Once the tea cup was out of her hands she had tried to adjust herself in a more comfortable way. Amara had nodded mostly to herself about the potions reaching her brother. "I know there is a small chance we would be able hear from them about the potions since it's a risk with someone reading any letters sent" she replied. She slowly moved herself closer to Sebastian as he spoke. "I dont doubt the potions got there really. I guess I just miss my brother." When Sebastian mentioned getting her up, she carefully placed her arms around his neck to help stabalize her, and give her something to hold onto, knowing that without his help she wouldnt be able to stand just yet. Slowly but surely, Amara moved her legs so they were under her, swaying grately as she did her best to keep herself up right. "Well, I'm not falling yet, so thats a good sign" she said with a small chuckle before she glanced at Rosalind. "What could be a problem right now" she asked, her brows furrowed slightly as she grew worried. ~~~~ Aro stood tall, his eyes remaining narrowed at the princess before him. She hadnt even bothered to introduce herself yet, and was trying to order him around. He hadnt even had the time to talk to Lorelei properly when she had barged in. "I dont care who you think you even are, but you have NO right to order me around" he sneered. The princess rolled her eyes. "My name is Cora if you really must know, but seeing as our families plan for us to wed, just call me Darling" she said with a smirk. "Cover up your scar before we eat" she told him before she glanced at Lorelei. "At least the servant has some manners" she said. Aro fought as hard as he could to keep his fist from meeting Cora's face. "Yes. More manners than you apparently" he stated, his voice like ice. He saw the shocked look on Cora's face. "I say this one last time, you do not order me around, and I dont care what your family or my father think. I will not tolorate a disrespectful brat in my life." He knew the way he spoke was enough to sent shivers down most servants spines as he saw the two that had followed Cora leave with fear on their faces. Aro looked at Lorelei, trying to calm himself down. "Would you mind making sure there is tea in the dining hall" he asked. He knew she would understand he needed it to keep himself from causing a scene.

Before Rosalind said anything about the news, she glanced at the two in front of her. Of course, her heart ached that her former lover was now with someone else, but as long as he is happy, she doesn't care about herself. She would never step in between them unlike whoever was the one that stepped in between her and him. "It seems that the potion is helping you." She stated, noting how she is standing. Sure, she has a sway, but she knew she wouldn't be attempting to stand if she didn't have feeling in her legs. "Perhaps I will prepare a stronger dose for you since you seem to be tolerating this one nicely." She said, mostly talking to herself but will gladly talk opinions if Amara didn't want a strong dose. "Thank you for noticing things when there are apparently more urgent things to be discussed." Sebastian said to tease Rosalind. "You are doing great, love, and I'm proud of you." He said as he leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Once you feel like you have had enough, I'll set you down." He said as he adjusted his grip to where his arms wrapped around her frame rather than under her arms. "I want you to only push yourself as far as you feel comfortable with." Rosalind pursed her lips, trying to decide if she wants to ruin this nice moment with the news she knows neither of them will like, especially Sebastian. She doesn't want more stress to be put on him, but she knows he would rather hear it from her than a servant. She made a potion that neither of Sebastian's parents knew who she is and had them think that she is his personal servant. "Well..." She trailed off as she rocked on her feet and her hands going behind her back. "The thing is that we have a visitor." She stated as she glanced between the two of them. She wanted to draw this out as much as possible. "And the visitor is?" Sebastian asked with a raised brow, hating how she is drawing this out. "A princess. Your father has set a meeting for you to visit with another kingdom's princess in hopes of marriage, considering the marriage between the both of you isn't happening considering the circumstances that happened." She muttered, cringing on the inside with how much she hated telling him that. Sebastian could feel the anger coiling in his veins, waiting to snap out. He obviously wasn't going to be doing that until he had Amara sitting safely on the bed since he didn't trust himself to lash out with her in his arms. "I'm setting you down." He said tightly before lowering her down gently. He made sure she was safely down and wouldn't fall before he whipped towards Rosalind, anger blazing in his eyes." You're kidding." He said between clenched teeth. She shook her head, knowing this was the last thing that he needed. "I'm not. He told me to fetch you since she is waiting in the meeting room for you. I tried to persuade him that this is the last thing you need with everything that happened and you weren't ready, but he didn't listen." He paced the room, a hand running through his hair to show how angry and anxious he is. He glanced over at Amara, hating that she has to listen to this as well. "Send her away then. Tell her I don't want to see her." Rosalind chuckled as she shook her head. "We both know that won't be happening and your father wouldn't allow it. The best case is for you to at least meet her. It doesn't signify that you are marrying her as I know you want to marry Amara." ~~~~~ Lorelei gave Cora a weird look, can't believe that she would actually tell Aro that he didn't need to call her by her name but call her darling instead. This woman seems like she is going to be a piece of work and she already doesn't like her in the slightest. She is too demanding and bosses Aro around, which she knows he doesn't like since he doesn't like it when she tells him certain things. She even had to bite her tongue to snap out at her to tell her that she isn't a servant, but she couldn't blow her cover. She took a deep breath to make sure she didn't say something she will regret. At this point, Aro can be as nasty as he wants to her and she won't give a damn if the woman is going to be running away crying, which probably won't be the case but is a possibility. Her gaze slipped to Aro when he asked her to prepare some tea for him. She knew he needed it as she has noticed over the days that the tea helps keep him calm and collected. "Of course, my Prince." She said as she bowed towards him, cringing terribly on the inside. She hates posing as a person she is completely the opposite of. She walked towards the door and opened it but stopped before she exited. "Oh, just for the record Princess Cora, I don't have manners. I have manners toward him but I won't be having manners toward a brat that thinks they can boss around someone. I'll see you both in five minutes." She smirked at the princess and left before Cora could throw a snarky comment back at her. As she walked towards the kitchen, she couldn't help but cringe at what she said before she left. She shouldn't have said that as she feels like it will only result in a punishment once Cora is off on her way home or in her room or whatever it is that she is going to be doing after lunch. She feels like Aro probably didn't appreciate her comment towards Cora and knows she will have to apologize when they are alone later for having her tongue slip. She just hopes it doesn't cause too many issues and that Cora will leave it alone. Once she arrived at the kitchen, she quickly prepared the tea and went into the dining room. She set the tea in front of the chair that Aro would be sitting in before she grabbed some of the servants to bring them into the kitchen. "Alright, so Princess Cora is a bit of a hand full." She stated as she glanced at them as she started to hand them the plates with the food on it. "Tell us about it." A few of them said, clearly not seeming to be a fan of the princess much like herself. "Just tolerate it for now. Thank you for helping." She said softly as they all went into the dining room and started to set the plates of food on the table. Edited at November 6, 2022 10:25 PM by Deadly Karma

Amara gave a grateful nod to Rosalind when she mentioned making a stronger potion to help her. "I appreciate that" she replied as she kept a hold of Sebastian. She wasnt ready to let go when she knew she would end up collapsing, and she didnt want Sebastian to see that after all that had happened. She agreed to Sebastian about pushing herself as far as what she was comfortable with. It was a good idea, though when she heard the news Rosalind had, her heart couldnt do much else but sink. She felt her knees giving out slightly, though was grateful Sebastian helped put her down. Amara wasnt going to tell him she had nearly collapsed on him. Amara seemed speechless before she finally spoke. "Sebastian, you have to at least meet with her, or your parents will know something is up" she said, though her voice cracked, not wanting to admit it hurt her. She hated the idea of another trying to sway him into wanting her. "Will you be there, watching" she asked Rosalind. "I would, but, well" she allowed her voice to fade when she looked at her legs. Amara felt tears build up, but she refused to let them fall when she knew Sebastian wouldnt actually pick to be with the princess. She wished there was a way to have his parents back down from this for a little while. "Perhaps, if you tell them how badly this was, and then maybe a little lie about how need more time after this princess" she said towards Sebastian. "They might listen to you more than someone they think is just a servant." ~~~~ Aro did his best to hold in a laugh after Lorelei left. He was glad she had a sharp tongue, especially with the shocked look on Cora's face. "That's why she is my personal servant" he said. "And you will do well to respect her." He walked out of the room without another word towards Cora, leaving the bright blond in shock before she stormed out after him. "You have to punish her for what she said!" Aro rolled his eyes. "I will do no such thing. You cant seem to learn, and my servants do not take to kindly to others who do not live here being rude" he retorted back to her. He made his way to the dining hall, making sure Cora was nearly running in her heels to keep up with his stretched out walk. A smirk was on his face as he heard her stumble a few times trying to keep up. *Amara wouldnt have any issue with this at all* he thought. He missed his sister, but knew she was safe with Sebastian. His father still had no idea where Amara was, and just thought she was in the village resting and getting taken care of. Aro reached the dining hall and took a seat while Cora stumbled once again, not expecting to swap from marble to a rug under her feet. "You shouldnt walk so fast in the presence of a lady" she stated. Aro couldnt help but shake his head. "You arent much of a lady if you are ordering me around" he snapped back.

Sebastian furrowed his brow at Amara's request, hating the idea that she actually wants him to go meet with the princess. His mind couldn't wrap around it for some reason. He could give a damn about his parents thining that something could be up because he doesn't want to see the princess. He said nothing, a scowl leaving his lips as he started to pace the floor. They should know better that a meeting so soon after what just happened would cause some push back from him, espically when he cares for the woman sitting on the side of his bed. He grumbled under his breath, a hand running through his hair constantly as he tried to come up with an excuse not to go. Rosalind stepped in his path and placed a hand on his chest to force him to stop pacing. "Sebastian, darling..." She trailed off as she tried to find the reassuring words that everything will be okay. "You know that she is right. You parents will know something is up and will do everything to figure out what the issue is." A growl rumbled in his throat as he narrowed his eyes at her. He doesn't understand why she is taking Amara's side on this as well. "To hell with it! I don't care if they find out! All I want is Amara as my wife and no one else." He could see the flash of hurt in her eyes, knowing very well that she stills care for him. He obviously does as well but not as much as she cares for Amara. I will not let you put Amara in harms way. You will go to that meeting or I will drag you by the ear to the meeting room. Do you understand that Sebastian Decan Glace?" She sternly, her eyes narrowed to dare him challenge to tell her no. His lips are in a thin like as he stared down at her before letting a sigh out, his head shaking in defeat. "Fine." He grumbled before going over to Amara. "And yes I will. I will make sure nothing happens and the princess behaves." Rosalind said with a reassuring smile tos how that she will make sure no hands him in a way that he wouldn't want it. He knelt down in front of her, his hands grabbing hers as he looked up at her. "I only want you, so don't worry about her trying to persaude me to be with her. I love you and only you." He said as he pressed a kiss to the top of both of her hands. "I will see what I can do. They might not listen, especially after the mess that I didn't cause happened in your kingdom." He stated as he got up and headed to the closet to pick out an outfit. ~~~~~~~~ Lorelei and the rest of the servants were just finishing up setting the table when the two ended up appearing in the room. She glanced up just as Cora stumbled over the rug. She had to turn her head away, her eyes meeting with Aro's as she put a hand over her mouth to prevent her from laughing. She had to fake a cough to help the building pressure of laugh from happening. Her eyes shone with mischief as she she kept her gaze with Aro's before she turned away. Apparently she must walk slow if she has to practically run to keep up with Aro. "Prince Aro doesn't walk fast. You must walk like a sloth if you have to run to keep up with him." She stated as she went over and grabbed some plates and placed them in front of both of them. The servants hand to cover their mouths at her comment, their shoulders shifting from the silent giggles. "I will make one more thin clear." She said as she stood next to Aro, her hand on her hip as her eyes stayed trained on Cora. "If you dare try to boss me around, I will with no hesitation bit back as I don't tolerate well. None of the other servants will tolerate it either. If you want to be served like the princess you are, you will have behave like one and have the manners and the politeness of one. If you dare try to boss us around, you can serve yourself and the others won't sever you either. I don't care that you are a princess, but if I have to put you in your place, I will. Actually, I dare you." She said, her voice stern and her voice as cold as ice. She then glanced down at Aro, that mischief still shining in her eyes. "If I step out of line, Prince Aro, please tell me and I'll step back or remove myself from the room." She stated as she motion for the rest of the servants to come over. "And without further ado, we present you with lunch." She said as they pulled the covers off the trays, revieling, turkey, mashed potatoes, salad, pasta, fruits, and a few different desserts. "Enjoy. I hope you like it since both the chef and I prepared this together. Would either of you guys like wine, water, or whatever your heart desires?" She asked sweetly, pretending that she never said just words to Cora just a few minutes ago.

Amara was grateful Rosalind was helping to keep his parents from thinking anything was wrong. She knew she couldnt do it alone right now. When Sebastian knealt in front of her and took her hands she smiled. "I love you too Sebastian. I trust you. I certainly wont trust this random princess, but I trust you." She blushes as he kissed her hands before she looked at Rosalind. "Thank you" she said to the other female as she adjusted herself on the bed, starting to feel slightly uncomfortable. "If that other princess gets out of line by any means, is it possible for you to turn her into a toad" she asked, mostly as a joke to try and make them all feel better about what was about to happen. Amara could tell that none of them in the room liked this idea at all. "I dont understand why they wouldnt think to give you more time, especially when we made it sound like Lorelei died" she added. Amara's mind started to wonder. Did his parents not care for their daughter at all? If not, that meant she really was safer, much safer acting like a servant to her brother. *I wish I was able to go with them, or at least some how know what was said while he was meeting with her* she thought, though she didnt let her face betray what she was thinking by any means. Amara knew she was just going to over worry herself for no reason. Like she told Sebastian, she trusted him. Otherwise she wouldnt have ridden Luna all this way being unable to feel her legs. ~~~ Aro saw the annoyance in Cora's eyes as they listened to Lorelei. "How dare you even think you can speak that way to anyone" she spat at Lorelei. Aro had had enough and slammed his fist onto the table, causing a rather large crack to appear. "I warned you to behave and to treat my staff better than this. If you do not behave you WILL get exiled and forbade from returning, along with a nice letter to your parents about why YOU failed to bring a husband home" he snapped. Aro saw the true fear in Cora's eyes when he slammed his fist onto the table. He knew even a couple of the staff backed up, but right now he didnt care. His eyes were daggers on Cora as he dared her to make another smart remark. Aro bit back a bit of laughter at what Lorelei said, and to his surprise, Cora actually kept her mouth shut. Unable to keep eye contact much longer with an angered Aro, Cora looked down to her plate, losing her appitite. *Good* Aro thought as he started to fill his plate. He took a sip of his tea before he looked at Lorelei. "You shouldnt have to have spoken up, but I warned her before, and I will not allow my servants to be treated like this by someone who does not live here."

Rosalind went over to Amara, seeing that she seemed uncomfortable in the position she is in. She felt like it would be weird to help her for some odd reason, but she wouldn't want to be uncomfortable if she were in her place. "Here, let me help you." She said as she put her arms under her knees and behind her back like Sebastian did earlier. She shifts Amara's body to where she now has her back leaning against the headboard. "If that isn't comfortable, I can help adjust you even more if needed." She said as she removed her arms away from her. She let a laugh leave her lips at Amara's comment, also hearing a laugh from the closet where Sebastian is. "As much as I would like to, I rather not. It might cause even more issues with everything. And remember, I only reveal what I am to people I trust unless I wish to be burned at the stake." She shivered at the thought of that, knowing she would rather have someone kill her first before being burned with fire while still being alive and feeling everything. She glanced at the closet, a sigh leaving her lips. "Well, I have done some digging while I have been here. It seems like they never cared for Lorelei, especially after she had Azaria. I wouldn't be surprised if they knew that Lor was alive now that they would send another assassin to kill her. They should think she is dead and that your brother is with her, even though Damian is there." She said, cringing at the man's name. Sebastian finally came out in a navy blue suit, having it hug his frame nicely. He was pulling on some black gloves as he went over to the dresser that held his crown on it. He placed it on his head before turning towards them. "I look ridiculous." He grumbled as his gaze flickered between the two of them. Rosalind rolled her eyes and went over to him. She reached up and fixed his crown so that it was straight on his head. "Handsome as always." She stated as she pulled away from him. He smiled slightly before going over to Amara. "You are going to get dressed and we are going to have tea. Right now." He said as he gave her a grin. "What about the princess?" Rosalind questioned, wondering what he is doing. "Oh, she will be there. She can join us in the dining room. Let me get her ready and then I'll let you notify the princess we are meeting somewhere else. I want Amara with me even if I can't address her as anything. It will make me feel better. Let me get Amara there before anything else since I don't want anyone suspecting anything when I am carrying her to the dining room." ~~~~~~~ Lorelei opened her mouth to give Cora a retort, but Aro was already taking care of it. She flinched when he slammed his fist on the table, not a fan of loud noises. She has gotten better with noises, but they still affect her, especially when she is trying to pose as a servant. No, she wasn't afraid of Aro and she never will be. He had every right to speak to Cora the way she did since she seems to have no respect for listening to Aro in the slightest. The only time she might be slightly afraid of him is if he did something to hurt, like him hitting her or doing something to harm Azaria. She is finally glad that Cora is finally getting it through her thick skull and that she needs to listen to what Aro tells her. She stood next to Aro, feeling more comfortable being near him than in any other place in the room. She hopes he doesn't mind that she is standing next to him and if he does, she can move if he says something about it. Her gaze slipped to aro when she spoke to him. She shrugged her shoulders as she leaned against his chair and leaned down to where her face was next to his, not caring that Cora sees. "I don't mind speaking up. You know I can handle myself for the most part. I can handle a bratty princess talking back to me. Like I said, I'll put her in her place if I have to." She said the last two sentences rather loudly to make sure that Cora heard it. She gave Aro a wink before she pushed off his chair and moved away from him. As they started to finish eating, she and the others started to clean off the table so that it didn't seem to be cluttered. She even made an extra pot of tea for Aro as she feels like he will be needing it with everything going on. She went over to Cora, an overly sweet smile on her face. "I hope the meal was to your expectations oh you mighty princess. If you need anything else to help for the bratty attitude, let me know." She said as she started to gather the empty and half-empty plates in front of Cora.

Once Amara was leaned against the headboard she gave a small sigh. "Thank you" she said, feeling much more comfortable already. "I am good now. Just still trying to figure out how to move around without help is tricky" she said with a small chuckle. She placed her hands on her lap now that she was in a more comfortable position. Amara smiled. "I dont blame you. I just figured we all needed a laugh" she replied. "How could they have not cared? She's their child." It didnt make any sence to her. Never once had any of her parents ever acted like they didnt care. Sure, her father went cold after her mother passed, but that was only becuase he was afraid, and she knew it. "She will never know that feeling ever again. As long as they think she's dead, we will keep her safe, she will never be attacked." Hearing what Sebastian said about her being there, Amara looked shocked. "B-but how would you explain me being there? I wouldnt be able to stand to introduce myself, or anything" she said. While she was more than happy with the idea, she wasnt sure it was the best one at all. A wave of nervousness smacked her as she glanced at Rosalind, wondering if this was a good idea at all. "What if your parents show up while you're meeting with her" she asked. ~~~ Aro smirked a bit at Lorelei. "I know you can, but you still shouldnt have to" he told her while he saw how Cora glared at Lorelei. She didnt like how close the "servant" got to Aro. Sure, he hadnt even acted like he was into her, but surely enough, Cora was good enough, right? Aro gave a grateful nod to Lorelei for the tea before Cora stood up. "You shouldnt be so close to him" she snapped, not being able to control her anger. Cora slapped Lorelei across the face, and before she could even think, she felt a powerful force hit her. She looked in shock as she stumbled back a step and saw Aro nearly towering over her. "Dont you ever touch her again" he said. He heard the others gasp as to what happened, one even ran into the kitchen to grab something cold. When the servant came back out, she went to help Cora, but Aro stopped that. "She doesnt deserve it" he said. He motioned for the servant to check on Lorelei, and she complied.

Rosalind shrugged her shoulders, not knowing the complete reason why they didn't want Lorelei as her daughter. All she knows is that Lorelei is safer with her parents thinking that she is dead. "Perhaps it was because she disobeyed a lot and was more of a tomboy than acting like a princess as she should be." She said, not knowing the true answer but knowing that is a good chunk of the truth to say the very least. "Eventually they will forget about her. I can even make them permanently forget about her and even if she came back, they wouldn't recognize her. The same potion I gave them so they didn't have a memory of me. It is up to Seb what he wants though." She said as she leaned up against the wall. Sebastian rolled his eyes that she actually thinks that his parents would actually come into the room where he is meeting a princess in. "They won't be interrupting. They know that is something I hate. I hate when people barge in uninvited. My parents accepted that at least, so that won't be a problem in the slightest." He said as he went back into the closet. He searched through the dresses that he had Rosalind get at the market for Amara so she could wear them instead of sitting in the same clothes all the time. He grabbed a black dress from off the hanger and came out of the closet. He set the dress on the bed before looking up at her. "Does this work?" "As for introducing, I can say you are my best friend that wanted to be there to see if she is a good match for me. I've done that with Xander before and I haven't had people complain about it before." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. What is funny is that the princess he has met before to please his mom before meeting Amara thought he was gay and that Xander was his secret lover with how close they are. "I will stay seated so it does seem like something is wrong. Simple as that. Obviously, if you don't want to have to deal with all of this, that is okay too and I'll understand." ~~~~~~ Lorelei didn't think anything was going to happen with her being close to Aro. She has never had a problem with anyone being so close to them and if they didn't like it, they told her and she respects her wise. She knew she would get yelled at for it, but she never thought she would get slapped for it. She stumbled back from the slap that Cora gave her. Her hand went to her cheek at the stinging pain in it and a look of surprise was seen on her face. She was shocked that someone would actually slap her. Jealous is what Cora is even though Aro wants nothing to do with her. Never in a million years did she ever think it would happen. She was even more surprised when she saw how fast Aro went to Cora and how protective he seemed of her. Even him telling Cora never to touch her again was surprising. She shook her head, her gaze flickering away from them. She did deserve being slapped for the most part, especially with the comments she threw at the princess. They were rude and showed no respect towards her, even though deep down she was a princess herself. "I'm fine." She said, her voice cracking as she pushed the servant away, not really wanting people to be crowding her. "I'm going to take my leave." She said quietly, barely above a whisper. "If you need anything, call me Prince Aro." She said, not meeting either of their gazes before she slipped out of the dining room. Her pride was not hurt in the slightest. It was more like someone slapping her and bringing back memories that she would rather forget. She didn't even wave or smile at anyone as she passed them. She slipped into her room, dismissing the maid, and went over to Azaria. She picked the child up in her arms and rocked her in her arms as she sat on the edge of her bed. She didn't even feel like going into Aro's room with everything going on in her head. Azaria just stared up at her with her big eyes, her chubby hands reaching out and playing with her hair.

Amara nodded, mostly to herself about the potion. That might not be a bad idea, but why bother if Lorelei probably wasnt coming back here. She knew Aro wouldnt allow it at all. He was getting far too protective of her when before Amara left, so there was no telling how much more so he had gotten. "I dont see Lorelei coming back here willingly by any means." She looked back over to Sebastian, a smile on her face when he mentioned how his parents wouldnt interrupt. "If you are sure on that, then I would love to go" she said. It would not only mean more time with Sebastian, but to see just who this girl was. She looked at the black dress he pulled out of the closet. "Since when have you seen me in black" she teased. She didnt mind what she wore really, but she hadnt worn black before. Amara was more than grateful Sebastian was willing to work around her being there. "Thank you Sebastian. Now I dont have to wonder what is going on, and who thinks she can win you over" she said. She knew he wouldnt be won over, at least not now, and she was more than grateful for that. "The friend part will just be a severe understatment." ~~~ Aro watched Lorelei as she left before he turned his head to look at Cora. "You have over stayed your welcome. I suggest you pack up what you came with and leave" he said. He saw the hesitation in her eyes, but when he threatened to strike her again, she took off down the hall towards the guest rooms. Aro made his way towards his own room, knowing he would be writing a rather long letter to Cora's family as to why he was rejecting her. She was their only heir, and he knew this wouldnt have been her first rejection. Very few sent their daughters to see Aro anymore, and he was glad. He hated to deal with them. He reached his room rather quickly, wanting to get this out of the way and to check on Lorelei. Once the letter was done, he handed it to a servant who arrived with Cora. "Make sure nobody but her parents read it" he ordered before he headed off to Lorelei's room. Normally he just walked in, but didnt this time, and he wasnt sure why. Raising his hand, he knocked three times before he waited for a response.

Sebastian knows it would be the last thing that Lor would want would be to come back here. Well, she doesn't know that her parents wanted her dead since she thought it was a lie that Damian was throwing at her that her parents sent her after him. Perhaps the potion that will be given to Damian will give her the truth she needs. It might break her, but knowing the truth in the end will make her come out stronger than she already is. "Yeah, I don't think so either, especially since she seems to have taken a liking to your bother." He teased Amara, knowing that no matter what Aro would keep her safe. "Of course I am sure. Everyone knows that when I have a meeting with someone, it is just me and whoever I am meeting with. They know that there will be problems if they break that." He said as he grabbed out a pair of flats to put on her feet so she wouldn't have to be sitting in her seat barefoot. He rolled his eyes at her when she teased him about wearing black. "Hey know, I had maids pick them out. I didn't have a say since they know more about fashion than I do. And besides, I wanted to see you in black." He winked at her before turning towards Rosalind, silently asking her to help Amara get dressed to which she nodded her head in agreement. He headed towards the door and stopped at it, a small laugh leaving his lips. "You wouldn't have to worry about her winning me over. And of course, the friend part is a severe understatement, but they don't know that. I just have to keep things at bay. I'll be back in a few." He stated, giving both women a wink before exiting the room. Rosalind went over to Amara. She would help if she asked, but if she didn't want it, she will stop and turn away. "Do you want me to help you or do you think you got it? I don't mind helping you." ~~~~~~~~~ Lorelei let a sigh leave her lips as she glanced down at her daughter. A small smile appeared on her lips as she continued to play with her hair. "You silly girl." She cooed, a slight laugh leaving her lips. Azaria let a little giggle out, her hands flailing in the air and then accidentally hitting her cheek that Cora smacked. She let out a hiss, knowing that her daughter didn't mean to smack her in the cheek. Azaria is just happy and a baby without any meaning behind her actions. "Careful, baby girl." She said softly as she stood up. She set her back on the bed before she started to play peekaboo with her, causing fits of giggles to fill the dark room. She knew it would be about nap time considering that she has been up as soon as she left earlier, per the maid, and had a bottle before she arrived in the room. After playing peekaboo for a few more minutes, she noticed that Azaria started to get sleepy. She gently picked her up in her arms before she started swaying and singing softly to help her fall asleep. She didn't get far into having her fall asleep when there were three knocks at her door. Her brows furrowed as she tried to figure out who it could be. Usually, Aro knocks on the door so perhaps it's the maid. She made her way over to the door and opened it, seeing Aro standing there. She raised her brows in surprise that he knocked. "Come in." She said as she motioned with her shoulders for him to come in. Once he was in, she shut the door. "Give me a few moments to lull her to sleep." She muttered, not really meeting his gaze. She started to sway and sing once more, having it not take much longer before Azaria fell asleep. She carefully and slowly settled Azaria in the crib before going into the bathroom before she fully talks to Aro. She winced at the red mark on her cheek, knocking a light bruise that might appear in its place. Her fault really for causing Cora to lash out. Once she inspected her cheek for a moment more, she came back out. She stood next to the bed, her hands in front of her as she played with them nervously. "Do you need something? Did I do something wrong and I'm going to get punished for it? Did I push too far and stepped out of line?" Question after question spilled out of her mouth, her gaze flickering everywhere but on him.
