It has been a couple of days since the whole incident, Skylar has been staying with a friend. His friend wasn't aware of what Sky had done and Sky wasn't going to tell him. He just told him he needed to get out of the house for a bit. He was leaving today so he needed to go to the store to buy a few necessities.

He packed his things into his backpack and left. He had some cash plus the money on his bankcard from his previous job... He was quit. Skylar walked into the store, looking around. Thats when he spotted a cop. Fuck! Okay okay be cool or you will look suspicious. He was so scared but he knew he needed to act normal. But he wasn't... He killed a little girl. Sky took a deep breath, making his way by the cop. He didn't make any eye contact. He then walked into an isle.

Tossing the item into his basket, he continued on. He wandered on a few other aisles. He was just picking up a few random stuff he was low on at home. Walking into another aisle, there was only one other person in the aisle. His eyes scanned over the products that lined the shelves. Placing his basket on the ground, he grabbed two products side by side. Comparing the two. His brows furrowed, as his amber eyes glanced back and fourth at the items. Opening up one of the containers he smelled it. Then he opened the other one. He let out a simple, "Hmm." He glanced around for someone else. There was one other person in the aisle.

With the two products in his hands he walked over to them. He could only see the back of them. They had long brown hair. "Hey Miss. Can I ask you a quick question?" He asked, looking down at the two open products. He didn't wait for their response. "Which one of these smells better?"

Skylar proceeded to walk down the aisle as he gazed at everything, grabbing a few things. He then heard someone from behind approach him, followed by a voice. "Miss" ugh Even though he got misgendered he still turned around. His eyes widened as his heart nearly stopped. It then b began to race as Skylar scanned him, it was the cop he had seen earlier. He was a lot taller than him too, Sky was only around 6 feet. His eyes then darted down to the products to avoid eye contact. "Oh uh, that one." He pointed to the one on his left after quickly reading both labels.

Hélios had a deep scowl on his features as he stared down at the two products. He finally dragged his fiery amber gaze up to the person he'd asked. His brows furrowed, for a second. "Oh. Sorry." He said quickly, as he took in the obvious male features. He watched the male for second. They were avoiding eye contact. It was obvious. He tilted his head slightly, as he eyed the male. "You didn't even smell it." He stated, slight humor in his tone. Maybe the male was nervous. He proceeded to shove the products closer towards the individual. Motioning for him to take a whiff.

He could tell the male was intimidated by him, for obvious reasons. He was suppose to be the law. Plus, he had weapons all over his person. A loaded gun, pepper spray, a taser. The difference between Hélios and other cops was he was an actual good cop. Besides his looks, he wasn't all that scary. He tended to let people off with warnings. He also didn't feel the need to use so much force on his civilians. He's suppose to protect them, not strike fear in their hearts.

(Lol I couldn't miss that opportunity XD)

He then gathered all the things he would need before making it to the register. He paid for his things and then left. Once he got out of the store he sat his bag down and put everything in it. He got situated before walking away, and he did so quickly. He scanned the parking lot as he spotted the cops car.

Hélios nodded in agreement. He'd buy the coconut one. The tall male couldn't even say anything else before the other male dipped. He watched his retreating back for a moment. The male had nice eyes. He shrugged his shoulders. He would buy the coconut one. Putting the other one back be placed the coconut shampoo in his basket. He didn't mean to scare the male off. All he asked was which one smells better.

After finishing up in that aisle he went to the bakery. He was in the mood for something sweet. The male had a sweet tooth. His eyes scanned the tables full of freshly baked goodies. He rubbed his jaw for a moment. Trying to decide which dessert he wanted.

Skylar walked past the cops car and to the sidewalk. He looked back for a second but then was off, but where was he off to? He doesn't know. He couldn't stay at his one friend's place anymore. He pulled out his phone texting some of his other friends, asking them if he could stay at their place. Most of them lived in town so he guessed he could just walk around until someone answers. A few minutes went by as his phone buzzed, it was his friend Bill. It was a yes from him so Skylar then started to make his way to his house. It was too far from the store so he hoped the cop wouldn't drive by him.

Grabbing a few goodies, he finished up his little shopping trip. Taking his items to the check out he paid for everything. Making small talk with the cashier as she checked him out. Thanking her he left the store. As he made his way to his patrol car, he spotted a homeless man sitting on the side walk. Popping open the container of the chocolate muffins he just purchased, he carefully grabbed one from the paper. Handing it to the man, he nodded at him. The man stared with fear for a second, before smiling. "Oh thank you officer!" His eyes shining brightly.

"Of course, bud." He nodded, except he didn't offer a smile. Pulling out a muffin, he raised it up for a moment before taking a bite. "Can't selfishly keep all these goodies to myself, can I." His voice held humor. With that he walked off towards his car. Unlocking it he tossed his bag into the passenger seat. Today was a good day. He hoped it would remain that way. Starting the engine, he began driving off. Of course, still munching on his muffin.
