Books. The singular thing that Lewis could talk about without turning tomato red. The one thing he wasn't ashamed of sharing about himself. Though practically anyone could tell he was a bookworm. "Oh, I'm all over the place, I normally find specific writers I like and read their works. Doesn't really matter what the genre is. I've read stuff from biographies to sci-fi and mythology." Lewis smiled a bit at the thought of a recent series he'd began to read. |

West felt himself grinning, "Ah! I like readers like you. Who look for good writing rather than a genre. It's always pleasant to meet people like that, as a writer myself." West hummed under his breath, "Who do you like to read? Or, what are some of your favorite books or series?" |

The tenseness in Lewis' shoulders was slowly fading. The red tint on his face and ears slowly fading down to a pale pink. "Oh, well I read John Green but who doesn't? Uh, you obviously, I read a lot of Robin McKinley's books when I was younger. There's way to many authors I could list. I read a lot since I don't have much of a life." Lewis has come to terms with this fact at a very young age. He had no life outside of working and helping Addilyn. Which is why he'd turned to books. For a chance to explore without having to. |

West made a curious noise, "Someone once said that reading a snippet of a characters life helps create a life of your own, formed from experiences you lived through with that character." He finished off with a bite of his chocolate croissant, "And that is the truth." |

Lewis looked up at West under dark eyelashes. He had no idea who had ever said that quote. "Uh, that's really cool. Who said that?" Lewis was always looking between West and the waiters. He was really hungry to be honest so he really needed that food. |

The waitress came in with the soups, setting them down before both of the boys with a smile. West thanked her, before turning to Lewis, "I dunno. Guess I did?" |

Lewis thanked the waitress and ate (WAIT DO YOU EAT OR DRINK SOUP?!?)) his soup happily. His stomach calming at the familiar taste of tomato soup. "Right on the spot? Well, good for you, I could never say something so inspiring right off the bat." Lewis smirked, he'd say something really stupid that he thought was inspirational or something. |

"I kinda spew things out, and maybe 20% of it is good. I just got lucky there," West chuckled. He decided to forgo the spoon, and picked up the bowl and took a sip. (YOU CAN DO BOTH) Yum. |

Lewis smiled slightly, the corner of his lips twitching up. "Well at least 20% of it is good. You should start writing down all the good stuff. That way if the need ever arises, you have a book right there that can tell you what to say depending on the situation." He smirked and ate more of his soup. Brown eyes sparkling with a hint of humor. |

West set down his soup bowl, and leaned back in his chair, "Ya'know, that's a good idea. I might just do that. Plus," West chuckled, but it had no humor to it, "I won't have to spend hours slaving away to accomplish nothing. All I have to do it write them down." |
