Gus followed behind, almost being dragged along as he stumbled. His legs hardly knew how to work anymore. It was a result of being tired, having a game, and holding Apollow's hand. "I don't know. Its your place, you come up with a solution. I could sleep on your floor?" Gus tried catching up, but he kept falling behind Apollow, yawning. He finally let go of Apollow's hand to stretch, pausing for a moment as he did.

"Not the floor, Kiki would walk all over you!" He stopped when Gus let go of his hand, the air was cold where Gus's hand used to be. "You gonna survive back there?" He waited for Gus to finish stretching before he continued "solution, we build a pillow wall on my bed, and pick sides?" He laughed at the idea, so childish, but it sounded super fun anyways. He tucked his hand into his pocket trying to warm it up.

Gus laughed. "Awh, but Kiki's so cute!" He rushed a bit to catch up to Apollow, finding that he had put his hand in his pocket. Gus hesitated, worried Apollow didn't want to hold his hand anymore. Instead of giving up though, he placed his arm around Apollow's shoulders, almost a "bros" move. But it was a bit kinder, and less rough than what him and his team usually do. "Its a good idea," he smiled, continuing to walk to the car.

He smiled as Gus's arm landed around his shoulders, and leaned his head on Gus's shoulder in return "perfect," he made it to the car and ducked out from under his arm to get in. " alright, we have a drive ahead of us, so, you can sleep until we get there, it will pass the time faster, then we can crash in my bed." He dug the keys out of his pocket and put them into the ignition. Waiting for the heater to pick up before he started driving.

He tensed slightly when Apollow leaned against his shoulder, but relaxed, remembering that this wasn't one of the other jocks who would make fun of him for being gay. Gus slid back into the passenger seat, yawning and stretching again before pulling the belt across his lap. "Yeah, Ill probably doze off on the way back, so wake me up when we get there." After speaking, he yawned one last time, leaning his head on the window beside him.

"Will do bud" he pulled out of where he parked and drove home, taking the turns gently to not jostle the car too much. Apollow caught glimpses of deer and coyote on the drive back. When he finally pulled up to his apartment he reached over and patted Gus's shoulder. "Hey, wake up. Let's go to bed" he turned off the car and grabbed the blanket from where Gus set it down.

Gus looked up groggily, confused for a moment. "What?" He asked, trying to figure out where he was and who he was with. Then he remembered Apollow, and that they were going to sleep, which he couldn't wait for. "Oh, right. Bed." Gus nodded, unbuckling the seat belt and getting out of the car. It was late, and the lights were stupidly bright. He stretched once more before wandering back to the apartment door, waiting for Apollow to unlock it.

Apollow chuckled at the groggy Gus as he unlocked the apartment door. "Alright, I'm going to grab some more blankets from the closet. You can head over and get comfortable, bathroom is right over there" he pointed down the hallway and turned the opposite dircetion to collect the blankets.

Gus nodded silently, trying not to stare at Apollow in the light of the apartment. His eyes kept wandering towards the white-haired boy, but he combated it. Wandering to the bathroom, he focused solely on not tripping. When he made it into the bathroom, he splashed cold water on his face, trying to get rid of the blush that had formed from being out in the cold and from Apollow. He quickly left the bathroom to wait for Apollow so he could sleep.

When Apollow got back to the room he was pleased to see that Gus had waiting for him. "I've got extra blankets and" he reached I to his closet and pulled out a light orange body pillow that he set in the middle of the bed "a large pillow wall," he put his hands on his hips and smiled, thinking about how silly this was. "there, perfect" he said as he threw the blankets on each side and crawled onto the right side of the bed, laying on his side facing the pillow wall.
