Idk, up to you... I don't believe Rowan would be allowed to come to the meeting(yet) and Alvaro might come to inform her what was going on.

Okey. Got this.
Over the course of 4 days, things had only got worse. Anyone living outside of town was ordered to stay in the hotel or live with relatives. Although there weren't too many people, it was still a tight fit. Alvaro worked everyday to repair the border and sometimes it worked. It didn't normally though. He was gone for hours and hours and people rarely saw him anymore. The faerie came into town every so often to heal people. Then would proceed to sleep for an hour then go back out. Kori was busy constantly and still was upset at Alvaro despite all his work. At this point he really couldn't care less. That's when the meeting was called. Rowan wasn't invited, humans had never been invited to any sort of meeting. Basically, the meeting was to tell all families with young children that they were going to be escorted to another faerie town with permission from the town's leader. It was safer there and would be till Alvaro fixed the border. The faeries would leave that night. The other announcement was that they needed more guards and anyone willing to help would happily be taken in and trained. The crisis would be over soon according to Kori. Alvaro doubted it. He was the one who truly knew that at this point he'd have to recreate the whole barrier. Which could send him into hibernation at this point. Neo had slowly been recovering from both the shock of his entire family being gone and the other injuries he'd gotten from the fight. A large, ugly scar on his chest was slowly forming but he didn't mind. At least he was alive. The one real problem was the faeries. They scared him. He hadn't left the house in days.

Rowan spent a mix of her time training, taking care of Frost, and nursing Neo back to health. No one ever wanted to speak with the 'strange human' but when Rowan worked out she did see faces peaking at her. She supposed it might be strange to see someone without wings, and she could bet her fighting style was different from theirs. Despite the oddness of the whole situation, Rowan made the best of it, and took her opportunity to also read a bunch of the books in the home. It was useful to read up on faerie history and powers. Rowan also spent time in the middle of the night practicing her magic. It was strange, she realized early on, but not impossible to control.

When Rowan left Neo fended for himself. Cooking the food that people left at the door with ease. He'd learned how to cook from his father. Whenever he cooked he tended to cry which wasn't great but he still fed himself. The other problem was that he hadn't spoken. At all. Alvaro decided that at this point, he should visit Rowan. She should make a decision pretty soon. Stay and suffer the consequences of having monsters attacking, or leave to join the work of humans again. At this point, it just really wasn't safe. Taking flight from his spot at the barrier, he started heading back home. His eyes squinty and in general he looked like a mess.

Rowan did not know how to cook, at least fancy stuff. She could make a mean sausage over a spitfire, or cook her kills, but actual cooking was beyond her. Knights didnt need to know how to cook, save for being able to feed themselves in the wild, and she left he castle before anyone could try to teach her any more womanly skills.

Alvaro not only looked like a mess, he was a mess. Faeries aged very slowly so if he was human, he'd probably have the beginnings of a beard. He wasn't human though so the only indicators of distress was the dimness of his eyes and the bags under his eyes. Plus his disheveled look seemed worse. So as he made his way to the town, he stayed away from others. If one leader seemed under distress at all, it sent all the faeries into a frenzy. Finally, he touched down in front of Rowan's place. Remembering human customs, he quietly knocked on the door.

Rowan opened the door, and took in Alvaro. She shrugged gracelessly, "Come on in." She walked deeper into the borrowed house, and found Neo before he saw Alvaro. "Honey, Alvaro - a faerie - is here. You are of course able to stay out and listen to what he is going to say, or you can go to your room. It is up to you."

Alvaro purposely walked very slowly into the house. Just in case the child wanted to run away. Multiple faeries had told him that they would see him through the window and as soon as they made eye contact the child would run away. Neo looked up at Rowan with a frown. His brows furrowing as he decided what to do. Internally, he knew Alvaro and what the faerie had done for him. He'd healed him and filled him back up with blood before he could die. Yet Neo was still afraid of faeries. So he sat there, unmoving. Alvaro deserved better. Especially after healing Neo.
