"Alright. Then I'll se what i can do and get things arranged" Marks stated with a nod, glad to have things handled without too much of a struggle, apart from what had happened just a little while ago. "I'm alright, Sombra. Just starting to get a little sore" Liri answered gently, giving a small smile. She got up, avoiding putting too much weight on it. She was definetly ready to take a break, adjusting her use of muscels to favor her leg definetly took some energy out of her. She started towards a couch. Emery was rather relieved to get a break and as everyone went to get settled, she followed. Flopping herself down comfortably on the floor. Like everyone else, she couldn't be bothered to change yet. While there was always the chance the the scientists might have them train in human form aswell, they were probably going to continue in human form at first. Wyatt glanced over at Emerald when she spoke and sighed. "Yeah..probably" he mumbled to himself, standing still for a moment before making his way over to find a spot to crash. Now was a good time to do so.

"Thank you agent Marks" The lead scientist stood up from his chair and headed towards the door. "Since you're going to be here for a bit, would you like some coffee or something to eat? I'm getting some coffee right now" They asked.
After closing his door, Delta climbed up into his chair and faced the window. He was glad that his chair was big and sturdy enough to hold him in his wolf form. Since he couldn't write in his notebook and didn't feel like changing back, he settled for looking out his window and watching nature for a bit to settle down.
Sombra made sure that Liri made it to the couch, giving her an extra pillow to rest her leg on. After giving Liri a pillow, he hopped onto the other couch and curled up next to the arm of the couch. As he rested his head on that as he had a good view of the scientist's door.
Emerald hopped onto the same couch Sombra curled upon. She stretched out as she laid down, taking up most of the space up on the couch. "At least we got another day of mostly free downtime"

"Sure, why not" Marks answered, deciding he might aswell accept a way to pass the time. He had nothing to do until the time came around that he had to leave. Then he would have alot to do. Liri smiled slightly as Sombra helped her settle. "Thanks" she usually didn't like being fussed over, but she'd tolerate it. She made herself comfortable and rested her head down with a soft sigh. "Yeah. Some down time is nice on day like this" she murmured in agreemant to Emerald. Wyatt found a comfortable place to settle down and slid down heavily. Resting his head between his paws and letting his eyes close. His ears remained pricked up and alert, but otherwise he might aswell be considered to be taking a nap.

Slowly as the hours passed, the living space got quiet as everyone had fallen asleep. The lead scientist had gotten Agent Marks something to eat and drink and then talked with him as they worked to keep the time passing. Though, the next time he looked at the clock, he saw that it was time to introduce the Agent to the six candidates. "Alright, I only have two rules before we walk in there.
"1: Please don't refer to them as experiments, they have names and would appreciate being called by them or candidates. 2: Please refrain from trying to scare them about what's going on in the battlefield" The lead scientist said as he knocked on the door first, and then entered. Usually, he didn't do this but figured they may still be on alert and decided to let them know.
Delta groggily walked out of his room, he had dozed off bird watching and since he fell asleep sitting up he had a few cramps in his neck. He walked into the living room and noticed that everyone was asleep, so he made his way quietly to them before lifting his head as his ears perked up seeing a knock. Then seeing the lead scientist enter the space with the person from earlier behind him. Delta fixed his tired-looking face and glared at the person as they entered. Liri stirred at the sound of a knock, her head lifting and a yawn escaping her. Then her sleepy eyes settled on the door, quickly noticing the stranger. A quiet growl came from her as she sat up slowly, then got off the couch. Clearly tense and uncomfortable. Her leg kept in the air for a moment before setting her paw down on the floor carefully. Wyatt woke up shortly after Liri, her quiet growl helping to stir him out of his slumber. Had she been having a dream? Then he saw what she did and quickly sat up, his gaze turning cold and uneasy. He glanced around to see where all the others were at. Emery was still asleep, curled up into a tight bundle. Agent Marks took note of the rules the scientist gave him. While he wasn't particularly a fan of being given rules, he didn't want to risk any danger either. The door was opened again and they were first met by the glare of the black wolf that had stood at the front of the group earlier. Shortly followed by the others starting to wake up.

Emerald slowly woke up to the sound of growling, she had been stretched out with his belly exposed. As soon as she opened an eye and noticed the man from earlier she quickly turned off her back and sat up. Her quick movement stirring Sombra awake, as she hopped off the couch and over to Emery and woke her.
The quick movement of Emerald turning and hopping off the couch woke Sombra from his sleep. Lifting his head and yawning, he noticed the new person from earlier and the lead scientist. He uncurled himself and stretched before sitting in his spot and glaring, Sombra still didn't like the feeling he got from the stranger.
"Easy everyone, I've come to explain things as I promised. " The lead scientist said as he grabbed two chairs for himself and Agent Marks. He noticed that they had scared Emerald awake and the usual gentle Sombra was even glaring. They sighed and figured they were still on edge from the scare they got earlier.
Delta looked at the lead scientist and then at the stranger and huffed. "Fine, but we'd prefer it if you'd kept your distance," He said in not such a happy tone. Sitting down in his spot as the others started to wake up and noticed the two in their space.

Emery blinked sleepily when someone nudged, flattening her ears in protest, but quickly picking up on the unease of the others around her. She scrambled up to sit, spotting the stranger. She gave a sleepy yawn, sticking ckose to Emerald's side. Quite annoyed that her pleasant nap had to be interrupted for someone none of them currently liked. Liri glanced from Delta to the other two and sat down neatly. Making no attempt to speak, her body language said plenty. She did not like this new person and, in her opinion, any explaining could have been done without him present. Wyatt almost added to what Delta said, but decided to rather keep his mouth shut for now. Simply keeping a quiet stare fixed on the two people before them. Agents Marks decided to let the scientist do the talking for now and try to get a feel for things before he tried to say something that might land him either in the hospital or in trouble from a complaint to the higher ups or something. The teo darkets wolves in the group looked to be particularly threatening ones currently.

The lead scientist took a deep breath, "I guess we shall start with introductions." He cleared his throat "Everyone, this is Agent Marks, he works for the government who funded the project to turn you all into werewolves." He started "Agents Marks, these are the candidates, Delta" The scientist motioned to the glaring black wolf "Liri" Then motioned at the almost black wolf sitting on the couch, "Sombra" He motioned at the tall dark brown wolf, "Wyatt" He then motioned to the dark sandy colored stalker wolf, "And lastly there are Emerald and Emery" And he motioned to the smaller red wolf and the smaller coppery wolf. "They almost attacked earlier because they do not meet many new people besides us scientists and the guards, and if they do we hold introductions like this"
Delta sat still as they were all introduced to this Agent Marks government person. His gaze and glare were unmoving, the only ones that didn't seem to stay still were his ears that twitched from time to time.
Sombra watched the Agent as the lead scientist spoke, flicking his tail when his name was mentioned. He glanced over at Liri, noticing that she was not letting this person know about her injury, or if he did know. He assumed that Liri probably didn't want Agent Marks to know she was in pain.
Emerald watched quietly as she and Emery were introduced last. Standing right beside Emery. Did the lead scientist have to bring Agent Marks in here? If he did, then it probably meant that they would be seeing him again in the future.

The agent doubted he'd be able to remember all the names, but still quietly payed attention as he was introduced them and their names were said. He didn't expect them to becoming more welcoming, and wpuldn't try to interact with them too much, if at all. He knew what was good for his health. Liri didn't like thus much. She'd rather have to demonstrate their training than this. Really hoped that that wouldn't happen though, it would be added stress. It could be handled, but she wanted to avoid it. Though her thoughts raced, she kept watching the two that sat out infront of them closely. Wyatt barely acknowledged that he was introduced, though did give a quick glance over the others. Checking again where they all were before returning his own gaze to the stranger that had been introduced as Agent Marks. He was bored. He wanted to move or cause movement. And it translated as very devious look in his eyes. But he tried to control himself. Emery would normally have atleast tried to offer a smile when introduced, but this time she didn't. Infact, her ears actually flattening slightly to show her feelings about this.

"Agent Marks was brought here, to check on your progress. Since I've been informed that the higher-ups are getting impatient." the lead scientist said, "They're getting impatient because we haven't sent you out to the field yet, incidents like yesterday's are why I haven't sent the green light." He sighed "I know you're all on edge, but he still needs to evaluate your progress for his report. Would you mind if you all trained for just 15 minutes?" The lead scientist asked them.
Sombra scratched his side after the lead scientist had finished speaking, thinking for a few moments. Thinking about it he looked at Delta and gave him a slight nodded. In tense situations, they would answer questions by nodding their answers quietly. Training might help them take some of the edges off, but being watched would cause stress. So their main worry would be Delta losing control again but he would make sure Emery was by his side again.
In Emerald's opinion, she had wondered if they had already scared Agents Marks enough. Someone could lose control during training but, She wouldn't mind letting off some energy for another training session. Emerald looked at Delta and nodded as well. Edited at March 8, 2021 08:15 PM by Moonwing
