i dozed off not meaning too. I was tired... not just fitigue but my body was tired. i wanted to teach my pup the ways of the wolf but i didn't know if i would have enough time. i knew that i had to do something... but i was in pain and i couldn't even stand at this point

I look towards the girls before falling asleep

i wake up in pain like always. i am quiet as i watch my growing pup, she was exploring more and way more curious... i sigh with longing... to be young and free. to feel like i could do anything. to not have a care in the world.

cay wakes up to me dragging myself across the den to watch the elk, to hunt

"What are you doing? Your crazy right now." I hiss and step in front of her

"no your not going." I firmly

cay i want to help... i feel stupid sitting here and having you do all the work... Please!... let me do something!

i beg him, i wanted to help... i wanted to lead with him... i knew i was old... i knew it wouldn't be long till i would leave the world. but i knew that destiny... my dear little pup... she needed her mom to teach her to be a wolf... i was that wolf...

"Fine but I'm coming with you. You'll teach Destiny how to hunt and sort through the herbs and which are which." I say and bark and Destiny comes to my side." Here go with your mom I'll be close after." I say to both of them and step back letting them have room

cay she is a pup... she doesn't need to learn this yet... let her play... me and you can hunt. i say as i reach the entrence of the den my legs were hurting now. a hard burning pulsing through them.

"She does and plus someone needs to watch her. Let her come please." I bow and do puppy dog eyes at Shiloh and Destiny follows my lead

i sigh

Fine you're lucky i love you. i tease him nuzzling him before limping to the hill, there was elk nearby.

destiny watch dad... he is going to take down an elk... elk is food, we never take more then we need... i lay down watching my mate

"You want me to take down the elk. Fine." I groan and see the elk herd gathered and I get into a position ready to take the male one down

I pounce I claw and I take him down." Sorry I had to." I whisper to the deer and make the killing blow
