Sloane detached the note that was tied to the little dragon's back, and put it in her pocket, sensing it wasn't the time to read it now. Bulla landed on her shoulder and nuzzled Sloane's face, drawing a laugh from the normally tough girl. It seem to be a skill only animals and beasts could do.

Kanu passed out as soon as all the advisors were out, his breathing slowing as he descended into a deep sleep that could last for days. Injuries like these required a long resting period, in fact, that was one of the weakest times for a dragon, as they couldn't wake themselves up from the sleep. The advisor was relieved to find Sloane in the same place as from before, it made everything much easier. "Princess Sloane, it is nice to be graced by your presence once again. I am Arno Rufio, I am here on behalf of the prince to thank you. He is resting right now, so he could not come himself, I hope you understand." The young demon stared at the ground respectfully, as he had been told to this by the demon king himself.

Kiache pushed away all emotion in her face as she turned to the demon, "Thank you, Arno Rufio, for the update. I wish him a safe recovery." Sloane hesitated, "Whenever he wakes up... Tell him thank you from me as well." Sloane hardly ever said that to a person, and she wouldn't say it to Kanu's face... but he deserved to know she was grateful.

Arno nodded his head, his sharp teeth an unnatural white in color as he spoke. "I will be sure to do that. My kingdom is in debt to you Princess, you have saved our prince and for that we are so grateful." Arno bowed his head, waiting to be dimissed as he had been taught to do.

Sloane looked at the demon for a while, "Don't worry about the debt," She said with a vague wave of her hand, "I was already in debt to him. Now we are even. You... better head back to your Prince, I suppose," Sloane tilted her head, "And... there is no need to be so formal." Bulls chirped happily, and her fast moving tail walked Sloane on the back of the head, causing a spark of light to enter her eyes before extinguishing at the presence of another person.

Arno nodded, "regardless, thank you m'lady. Our kingdom appreciates what you've done. I will take my leave then." The demon gave Sloane a grateful smile before turning and disappearing to join the meeting the advisors were holding before they contacted the King to tell him of what happened.

Sloane watched the back of the adviser recede. The little bubble dragon on her shoulder looked confused, and Sloane patted her with a sigh, "It's a long story... and we better head back to the inn." - - - ts? not sure to when, but i know there won't be much to do for a while))

Hmm, after Kanu heals a bit? Maybe he's trying to thank Sloane when the human rebels contact them or something?
