Just as Sky was starting to get relaxed again, Alex spoke. Sky turned to him and painted a confused look on his face. "Pepsi? Just 2." Sky said before looking back at the TV. His heart began to race a little, but Alex could have meant the Pepsi. Sky hoped he did, and hoped he played it off well. Taking another sip, he kept his eyes glued to the screen in front of him.

Alex's gaze hardened when he heard Skylar's response. Was he serious? "Not what I meant." He said a little more coldly than he had intended, though he didn't attempt to correct himself. The idea that Skylar was sitting here drinking alcohol after what had happened last night, after apologizing... it was infuriating, and it did little to calm the storm that last night had stirred up within him. The storm that he had been doing his best to ignore and quell on his own. "I can smell it, Skylar. The alcohol." He added after a moment, not wanting to give him the ability to try and tell him that he hadn't had anything to drink when it was painfully obvious that he had. "What happened to not drinking?" He questioned coolly.

Sky clenched his jaw as he listened to Alex, not attempting to look his way. Before Sky could get out of whatever Alex meant, Alex spoke again. Clenching his jaw even more, he finally looked over at Alex. "Okay, I had a couple to drink today, so what?" Sky replied, a hint of annoyance in his tone. He didn't stare at Alex for too long, instead, he looked back at the TV. Carelessly, he took a big sip of his Pepsi, nearly finishing it. Sky stayed silent, waiting for what Alex had to say next. He was unsure of what to say really, and he didnt know why it even mattered.

Alex already knew that Skylar had been drinking, but hearing him say it, and in such a dismissive way... well, it pissed him off. Clenching his jaw, he sat still for a moment, gaze hard as he watched him guzzle down the contents of his soda can. "So what?" He repeated coldly and in disbelief. "Are you serious right now? What happened to not drinking anymore?" He asked coldly, moving to sit up as he did so, his gaze never leaving Skylar. He couldn't believe that he was doing this, now of all times. Was shit really so bad that he couldn't stop himself from drinking for a single day?

Sighing, Sky sat up and finally brought his eyes to Alex. "Yeah, so fucking what. Im allowed to drink Alex." Sky said, sounding only slightly drunk, surprisingly. Keeping his eyes on Alex, he brought the can of pepsi up to his lips and drank every last drop. Crushing the can in the middle, he glanced over to his garbage and then threw the can. He missed, of course, but he didn't care because it was close enough. Bringing his eyes back to look at Alex, he slowly leaned back again. Looking back at the TV, brows furrowed and jaw clenched. He was already in a bad mood again, thanks to Alex.

Alex had come here because he wanted to relax, to try and enjoy today instead of spending it reeling from what had happened last night. However, that attempt had been thoroughly thwarted now that he was aware of the fact that Skylar had been drinking. When he heard his response, he scoffed and shook his head before moving to get up. "Then you can spend the day drinking on your fucking own." He snapped. He didn't look at Skylar as he rose from the bed, didn't stop to give him a chance to say anything as he made for the door of his room, moved out of it, and then headed towards the front door.

Upon seeing movement in his peripheral vision, he turned his head to look at Alex once more. His heart dropped at what Alex said, and dropped even more once Alex was walking away. Before Sky could even process what was happening, Alex was out of view. Scurrying to get up, he quickly but messily left his room after him. "Wait Alex." Sky called, seeing a glimpse of Alex before he turned the corner to the front door. Moving even faster, he caught up and grabbed Alex's wrist, pulling him back a little. "Dont be like this." Sky said, unsure of what to say since he knew he was in the wrong.

Alex was fuming. He couldn't remember a time when he had been so angry. It felt as though a fire was burning bright within his chest, and he didn't want to risk saying or doing something he'd regret by staying here. Besides, he didn't think he could tolerate a drunk Skylar right now. Fuck. He heard his name, heard Skylar telling him to wait, but he didn't stop. He was too pissed, too upset, to care. He was just about to grab his shoes and slip them on when he felt his wrist being grabbed as he was pulled back a little. His body tensed, but he didn't say anything; he probably wouldn't have said anything, instead allowing Skylar to say something, anything to convince him to say. So when he heard him, his words making it sound as if he was the problem, he drew in a breath and attempted to pull his arm free. "Don't be like what?" He asked, his tone sharp and biting. "You nearly fucked everything up last night because you were drunk... I put in the effort to try and let it go, to enjoy time with you, and you just can't stop drinking. Am I so boring and unbearable to you that you can't stand being around me without being high or drunk?" He said, his voice and his gaze both making his fury clear.

Sky shook his head as Alex spoke, his grip on Alex's wrist getting tighter when he felt Alex try and pull away. Sky wasn't sure what he was thinking when he told Alex not to be how he was being. How Alex was reacting should be Sky's punishment, but he still found himself going after him. "No, you're not. My drinking has nothing to do with you." Sky bit back, his grip on Alex's wrist not getting any looser. He mostly told the truth, his drinking was another form of addiction since it was easily accessible, so it didn't necessarily have to do with Alex. Drinking was another way for Sky to get outta of his head, and be in another place. He needed to stop, but when it came to addiction, he couldn't.

Alex grit his teeth as he felt Skylar's grip on his wrist tighten. It wasn't painful, at least not yet, but it was firm enough that getting out of his grasp wasn't going to be an easy feat. So he found himself stuck there, forced to listen as Skylar answered him, forced to feel his anger boiling over, and he shook his head. It had nothing to do with him? He should be relieved by that... and yet the idea angered him further. They were dating, so Skylar's addiction was and would always have something to do with him, at least as long as they were dating. If things continued like this, though, he didn't think this relationship would last much longer. "Right." He scoffed with a shake of his head. "It has so god damn little to do with me." He stated with a disbelieving tone. If it didn't... then why the hell did it feel as though lately, Skylar was shutting him out, but more than that, it seemed as though Sky couldn't be or remain sober whenever around him. "Let me go." He demanded, trying to pull his wrist free from Skylar once more.
